Tianjia: Little Tentacle Monster Mu Si 6

◎The reproductive cavity is already full; he cannot carry any more◎

Since the little tentacle monster had already reached adulthood, he could no longer be kept in the room and brought along with the military as before.

Through the terminal, X completed the temporary handover of military affairs, reset the warship’s destination, and headed toward his private planet with the little tentacle monster.

Even utilizing hyperspace jumps, traveling from their current Black Obsidian star system to his private planet still required a three-day journey.

Sitting in the levitation chair, X raised a hand to touch his abdomen, which showed no bulge yet still made him feel bloated and full, carrying some worry in his heart.

Once a tentacle monster matured, it would instinctively reproduce and expand.

He was already carrying a belly full of eggs, and before these eggs inside his reproductive cavity were laid, he could not conceive any more.

Driven by instinct, the little tentacle monster might desire to obtain other gestators.

He could control the little tentacle monster for a short while, but if he continued to exert forced control like this, the little tentacle monster might resent him, causing their relationship to sour.

Yet this was X’s bottom line; he could not back down.

He would never permit the little tentacle monster to force any intelligent being to serve as a gestator.

As for himself… it could not truly be counted as forced.

    He was willing.

If he were unwilling, a newly adult tentacle monster could not restrain him at all.

Even if the special substance secreted by the other party made his body succumb, flooding him with pheromones.

His consciousness remained clear and had not been manipulated.

He had possessed the ability to resist all along.

Yet he still indulged the little tentacle monster in opening his reproductive tract, carrying out a full week of continuous egg-laying and conception.

This could not be blamed on the little tentacle monster.

He was the one who chose to become the little tentacle monster’s gestator.

Even if having his body explored by the little tentacle monster he raised with his own hands and carrying a belly full of eggs made him feel exceptionally ashamed, it was still his own choice.

Frowning in deep thought, X wondered how to restrain the little tentacle monster during this period when he could not continue conceiving.

If the little tentacle monster threw a tantrum at him, hating and resenting him from then on, what should he do?

Lost in thought, he suddenly noticed the ship was unusually quiet, as the little tentacle monster had not caused a fuss for a long time.

X subconsciously went to search for the little tentacle monster’s whereabouts.

Through the ship’s surveillance monitor, he saw the little tentacle monster dragging a military holographic pod back from the training room.

The current little tentacle monster was too massive to squeeze entirely into the holographic pod.

However, its consciousness was distributed throughout its whole body; one could say that every single tentacle had its own “brain.”

Thus, X watched as it extended a single tentacle into the holographic pod, slipped on the neural sensor, and cheerfully began playing games.

    X: “…”

Why would an adult tentacle monster be addicted to games?

Weren’t adult tentacle monsters supposed to think only about reproducing and expanding?

Well, prior to this, no one had ever attempted to offer games to a tentacle monster.

Wild tentacle monsters were either annihilated or completely quarantined; even if they obtained a holographic gaming pod, they could not log into the star network.

The primary research focus of various cosmic nations regarding tentacle monsters was “how to kill tentacle monsters.”

Tentacle monsters captured in laboratories likewise never had the chance to try holographic games.

After finishing his military debriefing and approving a half-month pregnancy leave for himself, X closed his terminal and walked toward the quarters.

The quarters where he and the little tentacle monster had tangled for a week had already been cleaned by the cleaning robots, with damaged furniture replaced.

It was just that the little tentacle monster was too colossal now, rendering much of the furniture unusable.

Conditions aboard the spaceship were limited, so he could only let it bear with it for now.

On the private planet, X had already prepared a complete set of suitable furniture and a spacious residence for it.

The moment X opened the door and stepped into the quarters, several tentacles coiled around him, pulling him inward.

Mu Si’s primary mental consciousness was invested in the game.

Yet the biological traits of a tentacle monster allowed his other tentacles to retain partial awareness, enabling them to move on their own.

The tentacles did not deliberately secrete aphrodisiac substances, but contact from the tentacles still made X’s heartbeat quicken and his breath hitch subconsciously.

Guided by the tentacles, he sank into a pile of limbs, as if tumbling into a jelly bed.

Dozens of tentacles wrapped around him, enveloping him completely.

A tentacle slithered up along his trouser leg, slipping inside with practiced familiarity.

Sensing it, X hurriedly squirmed, his voice carrying panic.

“Wait! No, the reproductive cavity is already full; I cannot carry any more!”

Mu Si was engrossed in playing the game, but sensing X’s body tensing up, he dispatched a few more tentacles to soothe him.

The tentacles spontaneously secreted a pheromone-like substance, helping X relax.

This was a tentacle monster’s standard method of soothing its gestator.

In an instant, X’s pheromones overflowed, and he lost all resistance.

The tentacle successfully returned to the territory it had marked.

Fortunately, the tentacle showed no intention of forcing its way into the reproductive cavity to lay eggs; it merely rested quietly inside the passage.

Just as X breathed a sigh of relief, he felt the tentacle begin to squirm. Startled, his breathing grew ragged once again.

One tentacle squirmed and withdrew, only for a fresh tentacle to fill in and take its place.

What terrified X even more was that there were even more tentacles queuing up and waiting.

This scene was identical to when they had lined up waiting for him to embrace and pet them.

For the first time, X realized that a tentacle monster was not easy to raise.

Every single tentacle required care and companionship.

When the tentacle monster was small, he could scoop it up with a single hand.

One hand could rub the little tentacle’s entire body, attending to every limb.

Now that the little tentacle monster had grown up, he could only pet them one by one.

With such an enormous tentacle monster, just petting all of its tentacles once took a considerable amount of effort, let alone anything else.

Furthermore, even after being petted, some tentacles would sneak back into the line, wanting another turn.

When the other tentacles saw one getting double the affection, they would naturally throw tantrums demanding more too.

X could not bear to favor one over another, so he could only pet them all over again, one by one.

Three days later, when the spaceship finally landed on the private planet, X was still trapped in this unending loop.

“We are home, Si Si, stop for a moment.”

X struggled hard to climb out from the pile of tentacles, saying:

“Don’t you want to see the new home I prepared for you? A glass mansion as large as a spaceship. You will definitely love it.”

    A glass mansion sounded wonderful.

However, X had taken his number one tentacle 10 times, and kissed his number seven tentacle 13 times.

The other tentacles had only received 9 and 12 times.

Mu Si felt that looking at the house could wait, but the kisses had to be made up immediately.

“I can carry you off the spaceship, it won’t delay anything. I am very big, I can carry you.”

Mu Si continued to coil around X.

X had no desire to be transported off the spaceship while being thoroughly stuffed with tentacles.

He reached out to grab the tentacles trying to wrap around him.

There were too many tentacles, more than two hands could hold, so he hardened his heart and stepped on a few with his feet.

Yet it was still not enough.

X could only unfurl his bone wings.

Pitch-black, rock-hard bone wings shaped like metallic long whips subdued the jelly-like translucent tentacles one after another.

The translucent tentacles could no longer budge, raising their tips to surrender.

Expressing that they had learned their lesson and begging for mercy.

    “Ying…“

Big black tentacle monster, so fierce.

    “Be good.”

X soothed in a low voice.

Looking down at his disheveled state, X walked into the bathroom to wash away the mucus on his body.

Then he pulled the tentacles inside one by one, giving each of them a thorough wash.

Only then did he change into clean clothes and lead the little tentacle monster off the spaceship.

Outside the spaceship lay a private planet with a pristine environment.

Most areas remained in an undeveloped state, preserving their most primitive landscape.

Only across the vast plains bordering the sea stood an enormous crystal manor.

Within the manor, various models of service robots performed their duties, keeping everything orderly and pristine.

Mu Si loved this place immensely.

Whether it was the gorgeous crystal house or the completely secure, untamed planet free of outside intruders, it struck every single one of his preferences perfectly.

“Is this going to be my nest from now on?”

Mu Si gleefully squeezed into the crystal house, as if entering an extra-large glass jar.

“Yes. As long as you like it, you can live here forever.”

X probed quietly, carefully observing the little tentacle monster’s reaction.

The little tentacle monster joyfully slid through the crystal manor, exploring every corner.

And he did not forget to wrap a tentacle around X’s waist, dragging him along as he moved.

X matched the crawling pace of the little tentacle monster, following behind him.

He introduced the various functions of the manor to him.

“The materials used to construct the manor are a special type of crystal glass that can freely adjust transparency and color.

“If you feel it is too bright or the sun is too strong, you can lower the transparency, setting it to zero so sunlight cannot penetrate…”

Most juvenile tentacle monsters could only wander around aimlessly.

Only upon reaching sub-adulthood would they begin constructing their first nest, typically digging a subterranean burrow or finding a cavern.

Only after reaching full maturity could a tentacle monster rely on capturing gestators to propagate offspring and gradually build a massive nest.

Finding a great keeper truly saved decades of detours.

Mu Si was so delighted that all his tentacles swayed.

    “I love this nest!”

Seeing him so happy, a smile touched X’s eyes as he said:

“Then Si Si can live here permanently from now on.”

Mu Si keenly noticed that several times, X only mentioned him living here, without bringing up himself.

    “What about you?”

Mu Si asked, “Will you stay here to accompany me forever?”

“I… sometimes need to leave to attend to military duties.”

X was the supreme commander of the military, equivalent to a head of state; his fleet and people followed him, and he could not abandon them.

    “Leave…”

Mu Si did not like separation.

Ever since being “captured” by X, he had never truly been separated from him.

They lived on the same warship.

Even if X sometimes left him alone in the room, he would always return to accompany him at night.

Mu Si wanted X to stay with him forever, but that was clearly impossible.

He could not beat X in a fight.

In tentacle monster society, weaker tentacle monsters always followed in the footsteps of stronger tentacle monsters.

Comparing the gap in combat prowess between himself and X, Mu Si asked weakly:

“Can’t I leave together with you?”

    “No.”

X forced himself to harden his heart.

“You have already reached adulthood, you cannot accompany the fleet anymore.”

“Why?” Mu Si could not understand.

Although he had grown bigger, the spaceship was very large too, fully capable of accommodating him.

If X felt he occupied too much space, he could shrink himself down a little.

Just as Mu Si was pondering how to shrink himself, he heard X say:

“Because… you are a tentacle monster.”

Tentacle monsters possessed the instinct to continuously capture gestators and propagate offspring; X could not take that risk.

Mu Si instantly felt terribly wronged.

To not bring him along simply because he was a tentacle monster.

    This was racial discrimination!

He could shrink his body, but he could not alter his species.

“When you first captured me, you praised me for being cute. Now you despise me for being a tentacle monster!”

Mu Si was about to throw a full-blown tantrum.
