FIMA Ch23: Bankruptcy

“Know you’re desperate, single dog!” Gu Siyuan calmly said, looking at him.

Jiang Hefeng laughed: “It’s rare for you to joke, huh?”

Gu Siyuan spread his hands: “You just don’t know me well enough.”

“By the way, you hide your little boyfriend so tightly. When will you bring him over to meet us? Does he know about your career?” Jiang Hefeng asked.

At this age, achieving such success without someone to share it with would be like wearing a splendid garment at night.

Gu Siyuan was indifferent, thinking it was just a path he had walked in his previous life.

After saying goodbye to the extremely gossip-loving Jiang Hefeng, Gu Siyuan took a car to Xie Qingxiao’s exam location.

He timed it well, waiting for less than ten minutes before the school gates opened and young students streamed out.

At this moment, regardless of how they performed, everyone had relaxed smiles on their faces.

Years of hard work culminated in today.

Gu Siyuan stood by the car, dressed in an elegant suit, tall and imposing, his presence commanding attention. As soon as Xie Qingxiao exited the school gate, he spotted the familiar figure and rushed over, leaping onto him.

Gu Siyuan caught him firmly, lifting him into his arms, and with a smile, asked, “Feeling good?”

“Ah, it’s over!” Xie Qingxiao said, hugging his boyfriend’s neck and giving him a kiss.

The action was very intimate.

On a regular day, it would have attracted a lot of attention.

But today, many students were acting wildly after leaving the exam center, engaging in what could be considered performance art. Their simple hug and kiss seemed the most normal thing.

“Where do you want to eat?” Gu Siyuan asked, holding him.

Xie Qingxiao shook his head: “There will be too many people outside now. I don’t want to be in a crowd. Let’s go to your place, lie down, eat something, and then watch movies and play games all night.”

“Okay, then let’s get in the car. I’ll call someone to bring us food!”

In the second half of the semester, Gu Siyuan often had to go to the company, so he didn’t continue living on campus. Instead, he found an apartment near the school and moved out.

The two of them sat in the back seat of the car together.

After finishing his phone call, Gu Siyuan saw his little boyfriend propping his chin up with his hand, staring at him with bright eyes.

He raised an eyebrow: “What’s up?”

Xie Qingxiao pointed to the luxurious car under them: “Did you buy this?”

Gu Siyuan: “It’s the company car.”

“Oh…” Xie Qingxiao thought of something and suddenly laughed: “If someone saw us, they would definitely think I’m a student you’re keeping.”

Gu Siyuan lazily loosened his tie, then turned and hooked his fingers under Xie Qingxiao’s delicate chin, gently rubbing his thumb: “Hmm, just a car isn’t enough to keep our extraordinarily handsome and brilliant Xie classmate.”

Xie Qingxiao’s smile grew even brighter, showing two rows of cute, neat white teeth.

The next moment, Gu Siyuan felt a slight sting on the tip of his thumb, a sensation mixed with a warm, wet feeling that made him agitated.

Xie Qingxiao had bitten him.

With a proud smile, he asked, “So… how much is Mr. Gu willing to offer?”

Gu Siyuan raised his eyebrows slightly and fell silent, seemingly considering the best answer.

Xie Qingxiao wasn’t in a hurry, just stared at him. He loved his boyfriend’s cold and calm demeanor.

At that moment, Gu Siyuan suddenly glanced at him.

Xie Qingxiao’s eyebrows lifted: “So, have you thought it through?”

But the next moment, he exclaimed as his whole body was lifted.

Gu Siyuan extended his arm, pulling him over and settling him face-to-face on his lap.

He leaned slightly, his breath brushing against Xie Qingxiao’s delicate white ear, his deep voice resonating directly in Xie Qingxiao’s heart: “Xie classmate’s beauty is priceless. How dare I mention a price? I can only beg for Xie classmate’s kindness.”

Xie Qingxiao’s ears twitched, feeling deeply enticed.

He raised his head slightly, biting the prominent Adam’s apple in front of him, and said slowly, “Actually, if all patrons looked like Mr. Gu, I might be willing to lower the price. Just hope Mr. Gu… doesn’t disappoint.”

“…” Gu Siyuan.

After getting out of the car, they hurried back to Gu Siyuan’s apartment, holding hands.

After exiting the elevator, Xie Qingxiao heard a “click” as the door was forcefully closed, and he was pushed against the wall, enveloped by a familiar, intense heat.

His slender waist trembled from the warmth of the palm, and the hand pressing the back of his neck applied a bit of force, making Xie Qingxiao lift his head. The kiss on his lips was steady yet intense, leaving him breathless.

His boyfriend was terrifyingly serious… The competitive spirit of an Alpha was frightening.

By the time Xie Qingxiao could breathe again, his lips were already red and slightly sore.

The room was silent, filled only with Gu Siyuan’s hot, steady breathing and his own rapid heartbeat.

“Now, are you satisfied?” Gu Siyuan’s deep, magnetic voice sounded in his ear.

“…Satisfied.” Xie Qingxiao felt his heart itch, not just his ears.

He reached out to pull at Gu Siyuan’s shirt to get closer, but noticed his tall figure had already moved away.

Gu Siyuan sat on the sofa, unbuttoning his cuffs, rolling up his sleeves to reveal strong, muscular forearms.

He glanced at Xie Qingxiao’s legs and patted the sofa beside him: “Aren’t you tired of standing?”

A double entendre.

Xie Qingxiao jumped up in anger, touching his still warm cheeks. Hmph, Alphas are truly no good!

But, is his boyfriend really a normal Alpha? How can he be so teasingly indifferent, coming and going freely? Aren’t Alphas supposed to be more…?

They had a relatively peaceful dinner.

Of course, that was for Gu Siyuan.

Xie Qingxiao was very dissatisfied with his boyfriend’s indifference throughout.

After dinner.

Xie Qingxiao lay stubbornly on Gu Siyuan’s lap, not wanting to move.

Gu Siyuan thought about his hard-won vacation and the things that couldn’t wait any longer. God knows how much self-control he had used to hold back just now. If he didn’t have something else to handle later, hm…

He looked down at the person on his lap: “What do you want to do next?”

Xie Qingxiao looked up at him with big eyes: “Do you have any plans?”

Generally, after the college entrance exams, people go traveling or something.

Gu Siyuan opened his phone and showed Xie Qingxiao a few photos.

Xie Qingxiao’s eyes widened with surprise, “A cruise ship…”

He never expected his old-fashioned boyfriend to be so romantic.

However, he thought for a moment and said, “This looks like a private yacht, it must be expensive, right?”

Over the past year, he had learned that Gu Siyuan’s part-time job was quite unusual. Judging by his usual attire and travel, he was probably a very important and skilled professional. But renting a yacht still seemed a bit…

Gu Siyuan replied, “It’s free.”

Xie Qingxiao looked at him and couldn’t help but wrap his slender arms around himself, “You’re not planning to take me to international waters to sell my organs, are you?”

“…” Gu Siyuan.

Perhaps, as Jiang Hefeng had previously suggested, he really should take Xie Qingxiao to see his company.

Just then, Xie Qingxiao’s phone rang.

Xie Qingxiao glanced at the caller ID: “It’s my stepmother. Why would she call me?”

Gu Siyuan didn’t say anything, but thought to himself: Here it comes, the last matter.

Xie Qingxiao didn’t think much of it and answered the call directly.

Listening to the panicked voice on the other end, it took him a while before he frowned and murmured, “What did you say?”

“Your dad, he was tricked. He invested everything we have, and now our family is going bankrupt… The creditors are at the door demanding money. You need to come home quickly!” Gong Li’s voice had no hint of joking.

As she continued, her tone grew more urgent and sharp, complaining, “Your dad and I have been calling you all day, why didn’t you answer? What have you been doing?”

Xie Qingxiao had felt a bit sad earlier, but now he didn’t know how to feel. After a long pause, he said calmly, “I had the college entrance exam today, my phone was off, and the exam venue had signal jammers.”

In fact, his phone had been with Gu Siyuan since yesterday. At first, he found Gu Siyuan’s small possessive gestures cute. Now, he was extremely grateful, as it had allowed him to focus entirely on the college entrance exams.

The person on the other end seemed stunned for a moment, then said, “But you’ve finished the exam now, right? You need to come back quickly!”

“Okay,” Xie Qingxiao replied.

As he put away his phone and stood up, he noticed that Gu Siyuan had already packed up and was waiting for him at the door. “You…”

Gu Siyuan said calmly, “I’ll go with you.”

Xie Qingxiao was startled for a moment, then smiled softly, “You heard everything?”

“Yes, they were loud enough.” Gu Siyuan remained calm and continued, “Have you ever thought about why they’re in such a hurry to get you home when you’re still a student?”

Xie Qingxiao paused while putting on his shoes, “Are they planning to sell my organs?”

For the first time, a slight crack appeared in Gu Siyuan’s usually composed face.

Why had his once aloof and elegant little boyfriend become such a joker? Why did he always think about selling organs?
