FIMA Ch19: Date

The main door of the staff dormitory required a keycard. The caretaker had already gone home for the holiday.

Gu Siyuan carried Xie Qingxiao inside without any obstacles, not encountering anyone on the way. His single dorm room was on the third floor, in the farthest corner, with a private bathroom and a small balcony.

After opening the door, Xie Qingxiao reluctantly jumped down from his boyfriend’s back.

Gu Siyuan turned on the lights and the heater, then walked to the wardrobe to take out a set of pajamas, looking at Xie Qingxiao without any evasion, “I’m going to take a shower. You stay here for a while, and if you’re bored, play on the computer.”

“Okay…” Xie Qingxiao nodded.

At this moment, he was curiously looking around Gu Siyuan’s room. The floor was spotless, the walls were white, and the furnishings were extremely simple. Apart from a wooden bed and a wardrobe, there was only a long desk against the wall.

The desk had a computer and a water dispenser, a large bag of snacks, and various miscellaneous

items. It was clear that Gu Siyuan spent most of his time in the dormitory at this desk.

Everything was not much different from what he imagined; it was completely Gu Siyuan’s style.

The sound of flowing water suddenly interrupted Xie Qingxiao’s thoughts.

Startled, he glanced toward the bathroom. He was actually spending the night alone with an Alpha… Through the frosted glass door, he could vaguely see the tall and sturdy figure moving inside.

His cheeks slowly took on a hint of pink, for some reason.

Gu Siyuan showered quickly. About ten minutes later, he opened the door and walked out.

While drying his hair, he looked at Xie Qingxiao and said emotionlessly, “Go in and take a shower. The steam inside hasn’t dispersed yet.”

The freshly showered man had a scent that was incredibly refreshing.

Xie Qingxiao couldn’t help but be mesmerized by his boyfriend’s looks once again at the sight.

However, he stole a glance at his boyfriend from the neck down, seeing that his shirt was buttoned all the way to the top. It seemed there was no flesh to see; he had overthought it earlier…

Feeling a bit regretful, Xie Qingxiao walked over to his large backpack, took out his pajamas, and headed to the bathroom.

Gu Siyuan completely didn’t connect with his train of thought. He took a cup to the water dispenser, got a glass of water, then sat at the desk and began his routine check of today’s messages and emails.

After he finished looking through the basics, he glanced at the computer’s lower right corner to see that over twenty minutes had passed.

He frowned, turned his chair to look towards the bathroom door.

Just as he turned, the door opened with a bang.

Xie Qingxiao, wearing brown lion onesie pajamas, stood at the door with a blushing face.

Hmm… Gu Siyuan’s eyes narrowed slightly, feeling both surprised and a bit intrigued.

So this was Xie Qingxiao’s private style? It seemed… very cute, making him want to hold him and cuddle.

Xie Qingxiao met his gaze and asked, “Um… what’s wrong?”

Gu Siyuan cleared his throat and shook his head, “Why did it take so long? Your face looks like it’s about to dry out. Go get a glass of water and then get in bed to rest, don’t catch a cold!”

“Oh.” Xie Qingxiao dumbly nodded in response.

The little lion ears on his pajamas shook with his movements, looking even more adorably silly.

Gu Siyuan quickly turned his head back to the cold computer screen. Work made one calm.

After drinking the water, Xie Qingxiao lay in bed playing on his phone for about an hour. When he looked up, he saw Gu Siyuan still focused on the computer.

He puffed out his cheeks and got up to go to the bathroom.

As he passed behind Gu Siyuan, he couldn’t help but glance at the computer screen.

Then, his eyes widened in shock.

As he walked stiffly towards the bathroom, his mind started to wander.

So his boyfriend was this kind of cold and reserved type?

What Gu Siyuan had been seriously browsing just now was actually an online shopping page. Xie Qingxiao saw with his own eyes that his fingers were constantly clicking, adding several different styles of Omega fleece pajamas to the shopping cart.

Xie Qingxiao went back to bed and lay there for another half an hour, getting bored with his phone.

At this moment, he suddenly felt the bed next to him sink slightly, and the wide blanket was lifted, letting in a bit of cool air.

It’s happening, it’s happening, it’s finally happening…

Xie Qingxiao stared wide-eyed at the wall on his side, his body instantly going stiff.

However, about ten minutes passed and nothing else happened except for that initial movement.

Xie Qingxiao’s stiff body became numb, and he couldn’t help but move slightly.

Still no response from beside him.

He couldn’t help but move his hands and feet again.

Gu Siyuan glanced at the time, turned over, and patted him, “It’s twelve twenty. Aren’t you going to sleep?”

As a person who meticulously plans his time, Gu Siyuan had a detailed schedule for almost every moment of the day: when to get up, when to exercise, when to sleep, and eat. He would complete each task on time and in proper amounts.

If it weren’t for Xie Qingxiao coming over today, he should have been asleep by eleven thirty.

“I can’t sleep.”

Xie Qingxiao turned over to look at him, blinking his big eyes lightly in the dim bedside light. His long, curled eyelashes fluttered like butterfly wings, hazy and alluring.

Gu Siyuan frowned, “Why, are you uncomfortable somewhere?”

Xie Qingxiao shook his head, pulling the blanket without saying a word.

Gu Siyuan remembered that when he accidentally touched Xie Qingxiao’s foot just now, it was shockingly cold. Omega’s body temperature was indeed lower than Alpha’s.

After a moment of silence, he reached out and pulled the fluffy little lion into his arms, even lowering his head to kiss the gland he had previously bitten and broken the skin on, “Alright, sleep now!”

Xie Qingxiao’s body stiffened.

This seemed to… make it even harder to sleep.

Why was his boyfriend like this, teasing him without following through…

Xie Qingxiao started daydreaming again.

However, even though he thought he wouldn’t be able to sleep, he gradually fell asleep while listening to the steady heartbeat behind him and feeling the warm temperature.

In fact, when he opened his eyes the next morning and found that Gu Siyuan was no longer in bed, he had no idea when he left.

Remembering seeing Gu Siyuan running before, even in such cold weather, Xie Qingxiao sighed. His boyfriend’s good physique wasn’t easy to maintain, but he also benefited from it.

Xie Qingxiao happily rolled on the bed, thinking that he had slept really well last night, not even remembering his dreams.

For someone like him, who was a light sleeper, this was an extremely rare experience.

When he got up and finished washing, Gu Siyuan just happened to come back in with breakfast for both of them.

Xie Qingxiao sat cross-legged on the chair, blowing the electric heater while leisurely drinking soy milk. He thought that he and Gu Siyuan had already started living a domestic life ahead of schedule, and it wasn’t bad at all.

After breakfast, Xie Qingxiao resumed his student role, working on his tedious math and integrated science papers.

Gu Siyuan continued working on his computer.

Occasionally, Xie Qingxiao would call Gu Siyuan over to help him with a problem, but this didn’t happen often.

At 11:40, Gu Siyuan shut down his computer.

“Let’s go out for lunch. What do you want to eat?” Gu Siyuan asked.

Xie Qingxiao picked up his phone, “Let me check.”

This was his first time going out for a meal with his boyfriend, so he had to choose a good place to leave a deep, beautiful impression.

However, after looking at several places, he ultimately gave up.

Xie Qingxiao couldn’t help but remember that Gu Siyuan had mentioned having a temporary financial crisis before, and he had even sponsored him with five thousand yuan.

It seems that after starting a relationship, their expenses increased significantly.

Maybe in the future, when eating out and shopping, he could insist on paying.

Seeing that Xie Qingxiao seemed to have a hard time choosing and couldn’t decide, and realizing it was almost past lunchtime, Gu Siyuan grabbed his jacket and said, “Let’s go out first and decide on the spot.”

“Okay.”

The two took a taxi to the city center.

After getting out of the car and walking down the street, Xie Qingxiao was still focused on his phone, relying on Gu Siyuan to guide him as they walked.

“How about here?” Gu Siyuan pointed to a nearby restaurant.

Xie Qingxiao looked at the elegantly decorated western restaurant ahead and shook his head, “I don’t like western food.”

Gu Siyuan then pointed to a Japanese restaurant, “How about this one?”

“I don’t like raw food.” Xie Qingxiao rejected again.

Gu Siyuan frowned slightly and looked around, spotting a familiar place.

He had eaten there before with some major business partners; the food was good, and the environment was nice.

He pinched Xie Qingxiao’s cheek and made a decision, “Let’s go to that one. It looks good.”

Xie Qingxiao looked at his boyfriend, wondering if he was doing this on purpose. Why was each place he chose more expensive than the last?

However… the saying “third time’s the charm” came to mind. If he refused again, it might not be good, and it seemed Alphas were particularly prideful…

Not far behind them, Shen Ting, who was also out for a meal, frowned slightly at their intimate behavior.

Gu Siyuan directly led Xie Qingxiao to the entrance of the restaurant.

Since it was New Year’s Day, the restaurant had some festive decorations, making it look lively and attractive.

The hostess at the door greeted them respectfully, “Welcome. Do you have a reservation?”

Xie Qingxiao finally found an excuse to refuse and whispered to Gu Siyuan, “We need a reservation here. It’s New Year’s, so they must be fully booked. Let’s go somewhere else.”

Just as Gu Siyuan was about to say something, a malicious male voice came from behind them.

“Hmph, this place isn’t somewhere you should come to anyway.”
