ASPWL Ch116: Feng Jialan X Huo Jing
The air seemed to have become a little more awkward.
After changing clothes, Huo Jing quickly left the room.
Feng Jialan, however, was still blushing deeply.
Huo Jing took the documents he handed over and quickly got into work mode. However, as he went through them, he couldn’t help but furrow his brows slightly. He looked up at Feng Jialan, who was standing beside him, and his lips moved, taking a while before he spoke: “Sorry…”
Feng Jialan was startled and quickly looked up at Huo Jing.
Huo Jing seemed to have gathered his words before continuing, “I didn’t expect you to come so early today. I’ll pay more attention next time.”
Feng Jialan felt like he wanted to disappear into the floor. Why was Huo Jing apologizing? It was clearly his own overthinking!
Besides, this was Huo Jing’s home! It was his fault for not letting him know in advance!
Feng Jialan quickly shook his head and waved his hand. “No, no, it’s my fault. I should have informed you before coming, President Huo…”
The more he spoke, the redder his face became, and he turned away without saying anything else.
Huo Jing stared at him for a while but didn’t say anything more.
So, things seemed to have passed—except they didn’t.
That night, Feng Jialan had a dream. Maybe it was because he had never considered his own personal issues, or maybe because he hadn’t relieved his tension in a long time.
In the dream, he met someone who immediately caught his attention. This person had eight-pack abs and a V-shaped torso. The moment they met, he was taken through a passionate affair.
How should he describe this experience? When Feng Jialan woke up, he even felt a bit nostalgic.
But the next second, his face turned pale with discomfort.
Wait.
Why did he remember the appearance of the man from his dream? And that person…
Why did he look so much like Huo Jing?!!!
Waking up in the morning, Feng Jialan lay in bed, feeling a mix of shame and frustration. How could he have dreamt of Huo Jing…
Why was it Huo Jing of all people?!
Feng Jialan tried hard to push the dream out of his mind but failed.
Because during the day, he had to work with Huo Jing.
After a week of rest, Huo Jing’s mood improved greatly, and he went back to work. During the week he was off, Feng Jialan handled the small matters, while Papa Huo kept an eye on the major ones, so there were no mistakes at work.
Huo Jing quickly immersed himself in his busy work routine. Everything seemed to be just like usual, without any change.
However, Huo Jing keenly sensed something was off.
The problem wasn’t at work, but with Feng Jialan, his assistant.
Huo Jing couldn’t pinpoint exactly what felt wrong. If he had to say, it was probably because Feng Jialan had been avoiding him for some reason.
This was strange. Huo Jing prided himself on having a good temper. Even though he was quiet and not the type to joke around with employees, he never overly criticized them for small mistakes, especially Feng Jialan, who was an excellent worker and hadn’t made any mistakes aside from the incident with Feng Ziqi.
So why was Feng Jialan avoiding him?
Huo Jing thought about it for a while and then remembered something from half a month ago when he had just taken a shower and Feng Jialan had suddenly barged into his study.
Could it be because of that incident?
He had apologized to Feng Jialan afterward, and Feng Jialan had said it was fine…
Could it be that he was still bothered by it?
Huo Jing frowned slightly, still unsure about what exactly was bothering Feng Jialan. As someone who was always decisive and efficient, it was a bit of a challenge for him.
At least, he was relieved that despite avoiding him, Feng Jialan hadn’t let his work suffer. He continued to handle things flawlessly, just as before.
Huo Jing suddenly thought, “Well, that works too.”
After all, Feng Jialan was just his assistant. As long as he didn’t mess up at work, there was no reason to be concerned. Of course, that was assuming nothing had happened that night—
A year later, when Huo Jing thought about that night, his face still turned red.
After Ye Leyao left for half a year, Papa Huo’s health took a small turn for the worse.
Actually, it wasn’t a big deal, but Papa Huo always felt uncomfortable and decided to retire.
Huo Jing had taken over the group’s business for six years now, and during these six years, there hadn’t been any mistakes.
According to Papa Huo, he should have handed the group over to Huo Jing a long time ago and enjoyed his life with Mama Huo.
Huo Jing knew that Papa Huo’s health wasn’t really a problem; it was more of a mental burden.
Since Ye Leyao left, their entire family had been carrying the same mental burden.
But the three brothers were still relatively young and had better endurance than Papa and Mama Huo.
With that in mind, Huo Jing had no reason not to agree.
So, half a month later, the evening of his first day in charge, Huo Group held a special-style banquet.
Business partners from the commercial circle who had dealings with Huo Group attended.
The banquet was lively, and even though Huo Jing’s drinking capacity had improved a lot after years of experience, he still couldn’t drink too much.
As expected, Huo Jing got drunk that night.
He couldn’t even remember how he got back to the hotel, only vaguely recalling that the person who helped him back was Feng Jialan.
With Assistant Feng there, Huo Jing naturally had no defenses and fell asleep.
In his drowsy state, Huo Jing felt someone help him take off his coat and gently lay him on the bed.
Afterward, there was complete silence.
Huo Jing’s consciousness gradually faded, and just as he was about to fall asleep, he suddenly felt a warm finger lightly brush his forehead.
Huo Jing was stunned and subconsciously tried to open his eyes,
but after trying for a while, his eyelids couldn’t lift.
The person who had touched him seemed startled, and Huo Jing even heard them step back, as if they had tripped.
After a long pause, he heard a familiar voice saying, “It scared me… I thought President Huo had really woken up.”
Feng Jialan crouched by Huo Jing’s bed and let out a long breath.
Huo Jing wanted to say that he was actually awake, just unable to open his eyes.
After waiting for a while and hearing no further words from Feng Jialan, Huo Jing’s sleepiness overtook him again.
At this moment, Huo Jing suddenly heard Feng Jialan murmur, “How did I end up liking President Huo…”
It sounded a little happy, a bit sad, and his voice was soft, so soft that it was almost inaudible.
Huo Jing’s heart skipped a beat.
He really wanted to open his eyes, and this time he succeeded.
The hotel room was dimly lit, and Feng Jialan, wearing a thin shirt, was sitting on the edge of the bed with his back to Huo Jing.
From this angle, Huo Jing could only see part of Feng Jialan’s face and the arms wrapped around his knees.
He was slightly lowering his head, his emotions unclear, but there was an undeniable sadness in his eyes.
Huo Jing didn’t know why, but he suddenly remembered the first time he met Feng Jialan.
That year, he was only seventeen, just starting university.
Feng Jialan had just turned twenty and had just graduated.
Both of them were required by the school leaders to give speeches on stage.
Feng Jialan gave his speech before Huo Jing, wearing a simple white shirt, his thin back straight.
As he passed in front of Huo Jing, he seemed to glance at him for a brief moment.
When Huo Jing looked at him again, Feng Jialan had already turned away, leaving only half of his face for Huo Jing to see.
Feng Jialan’s features were delicate, and his face had a slight babyish look.
Even now, as he was approaching thirty, his face remained youthful, with no signs of aging, though his eyes had become more mature and steady.
Huo Jing didn’t know why he thought of that scene from the past, but he continued to stare at Feng Jialan, not realizing when he had fallen asleep.
When he woke up again, it was the next day.
After washing up and getting dressed, he heard a knock on the door.
When Huo Jing said “come in,” Feng Jialan entered, immediately handing him breakfast and a hangover remedy, then started reporting the schedule for the day.
Everything was as usual, no changes at all, as though the soft murmur from last night was just a figment of Huo Jing’s imagination.
Thinking about that murmur, Huo Jing paused again.
After Feng Jialan finished reporting the work schedule, he waited for a while without receiving a response from Huo Jing and couldn’t resist asking, “President Huo?”
He paused and quickly corrected himself, “Director Huo.”
Huo Jing came to his senses, his expression a bit complex. “You don’t have to change how you address me.”
Feng Jialan was stunned, looking at Huo Jing, then nodded and said, “Okay.”
After saying that, he lowered his head again, not looking to the side. “I’ll wait for you outside then.”
Huo Jing watched as he turned around. In a split second, he found himself asking another question, “Have you eaten?”
Feng Jialan was momentarily stunned, “Hmm?”
Huo Jing pointed to the breakfast on the table. “Let’s eat together.”
Feng Jialan hesitated for a moment, but in the end, he didn’t refuse.
The breakfast was very quiet.
Huo Jing didn’t say much, but Feng Jialan didn’t seem uncomfortable.
Yet, Huo Jing couldn’t stop thinking about what Feng Jialan had said last night—
He liked him. Since when?
Huo Jing didn’t know, but to find out the answer, he had to ask Feng Jialan.
However, unexpectedly, Huo Jing didn’t want to ask.
Perhaps it wasn’t that he didn’t want to know, but that he was afraid that once he asked, he would lose Assistant Feng completely.
Huo Jing had never been in a relationship. From the moment he could remember, he clearly knew his life goal—to inherit the Huo Group.
For that goal, he had ignored many of the hints from others who showed interest in him.
Whether during his youth or after entering the workforce, all such advances had been blocked by Huo Jing.
He wasn’t unfamiliar with difficult suitors.
Usually, when that happened, he would just bring up his father and mother, and things would be resolved easily.
If that didn’t work, he could always bring out Huo Yan or Huo Ze, and that would perfectly solve the problem.
After all, in their circle, everyone cared about their reputation.
As more people got rejected, no one dared to approach Huo Jing’s cold face anymore.
Assistant Feng, however, was different.
He was someone Huo Jing had personally promoted, the person he trusted and relied on the most.
Now, it was he who said he liked Huo Jing.
Although Huo Jing had never been in a relationship, he knew that once some things were revealed, they could never be undone.
Feng Jialan was unwilling to bear such a risk, and so was Huo Jing.
But after that day, there were some subtle changes.
For example, when their eyes occasionally met, Feng Jialan’s pupils would shrink slightly, then he would quickly look away.
Or when they had occasional physical contact, Feng Jialan’s face would show no reaction, but when he turned around, Huo Jing would always notice the tips of his ears, hidden in his black hair, blushing as if they were bleeding.
Feng Jialan was trying hard to hide the fact that he liked Huo Jing.
But liking was the hardest secret to keep, especially since he spent nearly all his time with Huo Jing.
It was even harder to forget this feeling of attraction.
Every day of working together, every moment of interaction, was a new wave of emotions.
But Feng Jialan never once thought of exposing his feelings. He just became more cautious in his actions.
Things seemed to be painted over as peaceful.
Until the second summer after Ye Leyao left.
One day at the end of August, Feng Jialan asked Huo Jing for a day off.
He rarely took leave for personal reasons, so Huo Jing naturally asked what he was taking the day off for.
Feng Jialan hesitated, then said, “I… I bought a house some time ago. I’m planning to move today…”
Huo Jing finally understood.
Feng Jialan had been working for Huo Jing for a long time, and he had saved enough money to buy a house. But until recently, the family that had been draining him of money kept all his savings, so he hadn’t had the chance to purchase a place. Only recently had he finally saved enough and bought a spacious flat near the company’s headquarters, which, according to Feng Jialan, was convenient for work.
Without hesitation, Huo Jing approved his leave and asked, “Do you need me to send someone to help?”
Feng Jialan blushed slightly and quickly shook his head, “No, I hired a moving company.”
Huo Jing looked at the blush on his face but didn’t say anything further.
Feng Jialan took the documents and was about to leave when he couldn’t resist turning around and saying, “By the way, President Huo, there’s a tradition when moving into a new house, you have to cook after the move. I’ve invited a few people… Would you, um, have time to come over for a meal?”
At least he managed to say the last part.
Huo Jing looked up and met Feng Jialan’s eyes, which were filled with hidden expectations.
In that moment, Huo Jing felt like something soft had touched his heart.
He opened his mouth but didn’t get to speak before Feng Jialan quickly added, “If it’s inconvenient, never mind! I’m sorry to bother you!”
After saying this, Feng Jialan quickly turned around.
Just as the office door was closing, Huo Jing finally spoke, “Wasn’t it you who arranged my schedule?”
Feng Jialan froze and subconsciously replied, “Hm?”
Huo Jing looked at him, a faint smile seeming to pass through his eyes. He said, “I remember that I have no arrangements for tonight.”
Feng Jialan looked at him in surprise, and it took him a moment to realize what Huo Jing meant.
He was wearing a pair of somewhat thick glasses, and his usually hidden eyes behind the lenses were especially bright now. Even through the glasses, Feng Jialan felt like he was being pierced by the brightness in his eyes.
Unable to hold it back any longer, Feng Jialan’s mouth curved up, happily replying, “Okay! Thank you, President Huo. I’ll head back now!”
As the office door closed, Huo Jing’s gaze lingered for a moment before he shifted his attention back to his work.
The next second, he couldn’t resist reaching up to touch his chest.
He wasn’t sure why, but he felt that the sensation just now was new, and a little strange.
But Huo Jing was too busy, so he didn’t have time to think much about it. He quickly immersed himself back in work.
It wasn’t until it was time to leave the office that Feng Jialan called Huo Jing, reminding him that it was time to head out.
When Huo Jing arrived downstairs at Feng Jialan’s new place, he ran into a few employees from the company, all of whom worked in Feng Jialan’s department and had a good relationship with him.
When they saw Huo Jing, they were both surprised and happy, quickly greeting him. Together, they made their way to Feng Jialan’s new home.
Feng Jialan had finally shed his formal attire and was wearing a simple T-shirt and an apron, standing by the elevator waiting for them.
Huo Jing wasn’t sure if it was just his imagination, but he thought Feng Jialan’s eyes seemed to shine a little brighter when he saw him.
After a simple tour of the apartment, everyone sat down to eat.
The meal was prepared by Feng Jialan himself.
Everyone took a bite and immediately praised how delicious it was.
Feng Jialan’s face turned slightly red from the compliments.
One of the employees suddenly said, “Hey, why doesn’t President Huo say anything? Does he think it’s not good?”
This employee had just joined the company that year, was young, and often joked about the affairs of different departments. Even Feng Jialan was frequently teased.
Everyone knew he meant no harm, so they took it lightly.
What they didn’t expect, however, was that he would even poke fun at President Huo.
The employee’s boss was startled and was about to speak when Huo Jing said, “It’s very delicious. Assistant Feng’s cooking is as good as ever.”
The boss let out a sigh of relief.
The employee then added, “Oh? Does this mean President Huo often gets to eat this?”
He then turned to Feng Jialan, “Assistant Feng! You’re too biased! You don’t only make special meals for President Huo, do you?”
Feng Jialan blushed brightly, stammering, “I…”
He stuttered for a while, unsure of what to say, when he heard Huo Jing speak up: “I’m usually busy with work. Sometimes, when I’m done, I don’t eat, which is why Assistant Feng would specially prepare a meal for me.”
Upon hearing what Huo Jing said, the employee finally stopped speaking, but let out a long sigh with a tone of envy: “Ahh, I’m so jealous!”
The others immediately burst into laughter.
Only Feng Jialan felt the warmth in his ears linger for a long time. After a while, he gathered the courage to carefully turn around, and in that moment, he happened to meet Huo Jing’s gaze.
Feng Jialan felt his heart race, and he quickly averted his eyes.
Huo Jing, sitting beside him, clearly noticed that Feng Jialan’s ear tips were turning red at a speed visible to the naked eye.
For some reason, Huo Jing’s lips curled slightly into a fleeting smile.
The group didn’t stay long, finishing their meal and heading out together.
Huo Jing picked up his coat, preparing to leave.
At this moment, Feng Jialan suddenly stood up. “President Huo… I, I’ll see you out!” he said.
Huo Jing looked him up and down. “Did you drink too much?”
Feng Jialan’s eyes flashed with confusion before he quickly shook his head. “No… I just feel a little dizzy…”
As he spoke, Feng Jialan stumbled towards Huo Jing.
Huo Jing realized then that Feng Jialan had indeed drunk too much.
Feng Jialan had a decent tolerance for alcohol, but perhaps because he was truly happy about moving into his new home today, or for some other reason, he had drunk a little too much and was feeling dizzy.
When he reached Huo Jing, he initially intended to open the door but lost his balance and nearly fell.
Fortunately, Huo Jing reacted quickly and steadied him, inevitably pulling him into his arms.
With them so close, Huo Jing could see more clearly. The alcohol had dulled Feng Jialan’s senses, and his pale face had gained a hint of redness. His eyes, beneath his glasses, were full of mist.
Huo Jing’s Adam’s apple bobbed, and he gently pushed Feng Jialan away, saying softly, “You’ve had too much to drink. I’ll help you back to your room to rest.”
Feng Jialan seemed not to hear what Huo Jing said, clutching Huo Jing’s arm without resisting and saying nothing.
Huo Jing realized he wasn’t going anywhere for the time being, so he led Feng Jialan to the bedroom, then called the driver to get some hangover medicine.
After making the call, he returned to the bedroom to check on Feng Jialan. As soon as he opened the door, he found himself being knocked into by a person.
Huo Jing froze.
Feng Jialan had thrown himself into Huo Jing’s arms, muttering, “Hehe… President Huo, you’re alive…”
Huo Jing: “…”
Huo Jing didn’t know how to handle a drunk person, so he tried to pry Feng Jialan’s hands off, but the more he tried, the tighter Feng Jialan clung to him. Eventually, in his frustration, Feng Jialan leapt onto Huo Jing, locking his limbs around him and not letting go.
Huo Jing: “…”
To prevent Feng Jialan from falling, Huo Jing had no choice but to wrap his arms around him.
At the moment he held him, Huo Jing suddenly felt his heart beating loudly.
The beats were clear and intense, making it impossible to ignore.
Huo Jing furrowed his brows. Why was he reacting this way? Could it be…
Huo Jing lowered his head slightly, his chin brushing against Feng Jialan’s soft head.
Feng Jialan, nestled in Huo Jing’s embrace, giggled, “Hehe… President Huo smells so good… Mmm, I really like this fragrance… Hmm, I like President Huo too…”
Huo Jing, holding Feng Jialan’s waist, felt a faint flush rise on his usually serious face.
That night, Huo Jing didn’t leave Feng Jialan’s room.
After Feng Jialan got drunk, he completely changed in personality, trembling as he clung to Huo Jing without letting go.
Eventually, Huo Jing had no choice but to make a deal with him, and they held hands, their fingers intertwined, before Feng Jialan reluctantly agreed to go to sleep.
Huo Jing sat on Feng Jialan’s new bed, staying up half the night contemplating his feelings for him.
Finally, Huo Jing came to a conclusion—
He must also like Feng Jialan.
After all, if it were anyone else, not only would they have been pushed away before even trying to make trouble for Huo Jing, but by now they would have been rejected, even before drunkenly leaning on him.
Although Huo Jing’s feelings weren’t as intense as Feng Jialan’s, this was the first time he’d ever felt this way about someone.
Huo Jing looked down at Feng Jialan, who was peacefully asleep in his arms. His lips curved into a slight smile, and he wrapped his arm around his waist, closing his eyes.
The next morning, Huo Jing was woken up by Feng Jialan’s scream.
Feng Jialan was sitting in front of Huo Jing, his eyes wide with terror, staring at him in shock.
Compared to Feng Jialan’s shock, Huo Jing was much calmer. After waking up for a moment, he sat up and asked, “Do you have a headache? Are you sober?”
Feng Jialan took a long time to nod dumbly.
It didn’t hurt, and he was sober now.
Inside, Feng Jialan was screaming in his mind, Oh no, oh no! Why can he remember everything that happened last night so clearly?!
Am I totally done for now?!
Feng Jialan was panicking, but on the surface, he forced himself to stay calm, got out of bed, apologized to Huo Jing seriously, and then quickly ran off.
Huo Jing didn’t stop him. After all, last night’s events were a little embarrassing, and Feng Jialan definitely needed some time to compose himself.
However, Huo Jing never expected that what awaited him was Feng Jialan’s application for reassignment.
Holding the application form, Huo Jing fell into a long silence.
Feng Jialan stood in front of Huo Jing’s desk, his heart racing.
After a long while, Huo Jing spoke up: “Are you sure you’ve thought this through?”
Feng Jialan had been with Huo Jing for seven years. He was outstanding in his abilities and had been entrusted with full responsibility for the branch company, which he had managed well.
But then, why did Feng Jialan want to leave?
Feng Jialan nodded firmly, “I’ve thought it through.”
Huo Jing picked up his pen, but after a long time, he still didn’t sign.
After a while, he asked again, “Is this for personal reasons?”
Feng Jialan’s heart skipped a beat.
After a long pause, he forced a smile and replied, “No, I just… want to gain more experience…”
Before he could finish, he saw Huo Jing pick up the pen and sign his name on the form.
Feng Jialan felt as if his heart had been pierced, and a cold breeze rushed through it.
The reassignment process would take a month. During this month, Feng Jialan remained by Huo Jing’s side, working.
Huo Jing had many opportunities to ask why, but before he could, Feng Jialan always found an excuse to slip away.
At twenty-eight, Huo Jing had never been in a relationship, so he didn’t know how to handle these situations. Moreover, with the company’s affairs in turmoil, he didn’t have much time.
Especially that night, when he received a call from his family.
When Huo Jing nervously returned home, what greeted him was someone he hadn’t seen in two years.
Ye Leyao stood there, smiling cheerfully at him.
Huo Jing’s eyes immediately turned red.
The person they had been waiting for, for two years, had finally returned.
The four brothers and Qin Yao sat together and talked all night, just like before, as if Ye Leyao had never left.
After staying up all night, Huo Jing naturally had no energy to go to work the next day. Since he also wanted to spend more time with Ye Leyao, he simply sent a message to Feng Jialan, asking him to cancel all of his plans for the next three days.
Feng Jialan quickly replied: “Okay.” And there was no further response.
Looking at the simple message, Huo Jing couldn’t help but sigh quietly in his heart. After everything calmed down, he intended to have a good talk with Feng Jialan. Huo Jing believed there was a deep misunderstanding between them.
For three days, Feng Jialan did not send any messages to Huo Jing.
On the third evening, Huo Jing returned to his place.
After dinner, Huo Jing suddenly felt like taking a walk.
His villa was not far from Feng Jialan’s apartment, and Huo Jing wasn’t sure what he was thinking, but as he walked, he found himself standing under Feng Jialan’s building. After a brief pause, Huo Jing felt that tonight would be a good time to have a talk with Feng Jialan.
Just as he was about to speak to the doorman, Feng Jialan’s voice suddenly came from behind: “President Huo? What are you…”
Huo Jing turned around. Today, he had taken off his formal attire and was wearing simple casual clothes. Feng Jialan’s gaze scanned him from head to toe, quickly looking away, but then couldn’t help but glance again.
Huo Jing’s tense heart instantly relaxed. He confirmed that Feng Jialan liked him, and it was all just a misunderstanding.
Huo Jing walked over to Feng Jialan. “Shall we talk?”
Feng Jialan lowered his head, but did not refuse, leading Huo Jing upstairs.
“President Huo, would you like some water or coffee?” As soon as they entered the apartment, Feng Jialan was about to pour some water for Huo Jing, but before he could, a hand reached out from behind and grabbed his arm.
Feng Jialan was shocked and turned around, suddenly finding himself locked in Huo Jing’s deep gaze.
“President Huo…”
Huo Jing paused for a moment before speaking, “Feng Jialan.”
He didn’t call him Assistant Feng.
“You like me, don’t you?”
Feng Jialan’s pupils suddenly widened, and the color drained from his face in that instant. He looked pale, as if he had been struck with intense shock.
Huo Jing furrowed his brow. “What’s wrong? You look pale…”
Feng Jialan pulled away from Huo Jing’s hand, quickly retreating, his face still ashen, and explained, “President Huo, I… I know I shouldn’t have these feelings for you. I’ve been trying to suppress them, but I didn’t expect it to slip out… I… I’m sorry, I’ll finish handing over my work within half a month, and I promise I won’t make this kind of mistake again…”
Upon hearing this, Huo Jing finally understood why Feng Jialan’s behavior had been so strange lately. It was also at this moment that Huo Jing suddenly realized that he had never expressed his feelings to Feng Jialan.
“Wait, I wasn’t trying to blame you,” Huo Jing interrupted Feng Jialan.
Feng Jialan froze. “Huh?”
His face was still pale, his lips colorless, looking as if he had been frightened.
Huo Jing pressed his lips together, and for some reason, he recalled a sentence Ye Leyao had said a long time ago—”When words don’t work, it’s better to show it through actions.”
So Huo Jing simply reached out and pulled Feng Jialan into his arms, not giving him any chance to resist. He lifted Feng Jialan’s chin and placed a very light kiss on his lips.
Feng Jialan felt his mind fog up, his eyes spinning, his head buzzing with sound.
Only then did Huo Jing speak: “It’s my fault. I should have told you earlier that I like you too.”
“Then, how about you not transfer?”
Feng Jialan, still stunned, didn’t react right away. He just stared at Huo Jing for a long time.
Until Huo Jing’s kiss fell again, the man’s breath intertwined with his, his lips on his, kissing him over and over. “Is that okay?”
“I don’t want you to transfer.”
“Don’t go?”
“Sorry, I like you.”
The gentle voice and the tender kisses, bit by bit, tore down the high walls that Feng Jialan had spent two years building. His overwhelming emotions were no longer suppressible.
Feng Jialan felt the world before him blur, and he answered again and again: “Mhm, okay, I won’t go.”
“I won’t go…”
“President Huo, thank you.”
“I really like you.”
【Feng Jialan X Huo Jing – End】
Aiyah, i thought Huo Jing likes first since he says he still doesn’t successfully capture the other person on his conversation with Ye Leyao. Well, this fine too, as long as they happi ( ◜‿◝ )♡
