LABMY CH51

The abrasions on Li Sui’s back weren’t too serious. Although they looked bloody and gruesome, they were merely superficial wounds that would heal in a few days.

Thinking that Li Sui had gotten injured while saving him, Jiang Tang felt a bit guilty. However, when Li Sui asked him to help wipe his body and give him a simple bath, Jiang Tang’s first reaction was to check Jian Yuanbai’s expression.

“Better not, right? Didn’t the doctor say you shouldn’t touch water for now?”

Jiang Tang wasn’t stupid. He had already sensed the subtle atmosphere between the two and noticed the provocative smile Li Sui had given Jian Yuanbai when asking for support.

Although he felt Li Sui probably didn’t have feelings for him, Jiang Tang instinctively distanced himself.

He never questioned why he would pull away from his roommate just because of Jian Yuanbai. It was purely subconscious.

Jian Yuanbai’s previously darkened expression only lasted for a few seconds before curving into a smile due to Jiang Tang’s refusal. He didn’t forget to jab at Li Sui:

“Just wet a cloth with one hand and wipe yourself. What are you, a kid who needs help with bathing?”

Li Sui was a sharp person and naturally noticed the glance Jiang Tang had given Jian Yuanbai. He smiled and didn’t bother responding to Jian Yuanbai, smoothly changing the subject, “Indeed, I shouldn’t touch water.”

The atmosphere in the dormitory became slightly awkward. Just as Jiang Tang was unsure of what to say, their dorm leader and the others finally returned.

“We’re back,” the dorm leader said.

He glanced at Jian Yuanbai with some confusion, “Who’s this?”

“Jian Yuanbai,” Jian Yuanbai introduced himself with a meaningful pause before adding, “I’m Jiang Tang’s… older brother.”

He looked at Jiang Tang and raised an eyebrow, “Right, Tang Tang?”

“…Yeah,” Jiang Tang responded helplessly.

Jian Yuanbai smiled, “We have something to do, so we’ll head out first.”

He waved at Jiang Tang, who, remembering his earlier promise, obediently followed. “We’re heading out first,” he said to the dorm leader and the others.

“Huh? You’re going out this late?” the dorm leader asked, puzzled. “Oh, by the way, that Liu Zhuqing wanted to thank you…”

Before he could finish, the two of them had already disappeared.

Jiang Tang appeared calm on the surface but was actually panicking inside. “Where are we going now?”

Jian Yuanbai winked at him with a mysterious smile, “Have you ever tried dancing in the sky?”

Jiang Tang froze, not understanding what he meant.

Jian Yuanbai saw his confusion but didn’t explain. Soon, when they stepped into a blind spot of the surveillance cameras and Jiang Tang took a normal step forward, in the next second, he found himself in the sky.

Beneath him was a towering height, with the city sprawling into an endless sea of lights. The wind howled past his ears.

Jiang Tang’s heart nearly stopped. He didn’t even dare to step forward and instinctively pounced on Jian Yuanbai, closing his eyes in fear. His beautiful face flushed with fear and frustration.

“Jian Yuanbai!”

Jian Yuanbai caught him in his arms and chuckled, “Don’t be afraid. Open your eyes.”

He gently rubbed Jiang Tang’s hair and kissed the side of his pale neck. “I won’t let anything happen to you. Trust me, okay?”

Jiang Tang cautiously opened his eyes and saw Jian Yuanbai walking on air with him as if it were solid ground.

“See? You can stand firmly,” Jian Yuanbai said.

He patted Jiang Tang’s butt like coaxing a baby koala, “Come on, be good. Try it yourself.”

Jiang Tang felt the warmth from Jian Yuanbai’s palm and blushed with embarrassment. “Stop patting my butt.”

Saying that, he hesitantly let go of Jian Yuanbai and slowly stepped down.

Jian Yuanbai half-embraced him by the waist and guided him forward step by step, like teaching a baby to walk.

“See? No problem, right?”

Jiang Tang slowly relaxed and took a few more steps. As he looked down at the bustling city beneath him, his fear gradually turned into amazement. Seeing the sparkle in Jiang Tang’s eyes, Jian Yuanbai once again felt that being a ghost wasn’t without its perks.

The night was his stage.

“Jiang Tang.”

Jiang Tang turned around and saw Jian Yuanbai looking at him with a focused gaze and a smile on his face.

Dressed in a sharp suit, with the moon and stars as his backdrop, everything seemed to exist only as his decoration. He slowly extended his hand toward Jiang Tang, “May I invite you to a dance?”

Jiang Tang didn’t speak. In that instant, his heart pounded like a drum.

His pale, slender hand rested on Jian Yuanbai’s slightly larger, bony hand. Under the swaying moonlight, they danced on the grandest stage of all.

Their bodies touched and parted, breaths mingling with burning ambiguity. With a graceful spin, Jian Yuanbai pulled Jiang Tang into his embrace. His waist was so slender that Jian Yuanbai could easily wrap his hand around it. Their chests pressed tightly together, as if he had fully claimed the other person in his arms.

Yet, with the next dance step, they quickly separated again. Fingers intertwined, eyes meeting.

Beneath their feet, the city became the world’s grandest stage. The stars turned into lights, and the moon followed their every step.

Jiang Tang became more immersed in the dance, a confident and radiant smile blooming on his pale, beautiful face. With the fluidity of the dance, he drifted in and out of Jian Yuanbai’s embrace, teasing and enticing under the moonlight, shining even brighter than the moon itself.

Jian Yuanbai’s eyes burned with intensity as he stared at him. When the dance ended, he suddenly cupped Jiang Tang’s chin and leaned in for a fierce kiss.

“Wait…”

Just as Jiang Tang opened his mouth, Jian Yuanbai’s tongue slipped in, invading aggressively and recklessly.

The normally numb tissue inside his mouth suddenly became unbearably sensitive. Jian Yuanbai’s tongue swept through every corner, causing Jiang Tang to tremble uncontrollably.

He tried to push the intruder out with his own tongue, but it was quickly entangled. The struggle somehow turned into a twisted form of submission.

Jiang Tang felt heat rushing to his face. His slightly parted lips couldn’t close, and the clear saliva he couldn’t swallow in time trickled down the corner of his mouth. His eyelashes fluttered nervously as he closed his eyes in shame.

Losing his sight only heightened his senses. When Jian Yuanbai’s tongue brushed against his, Jiang Tang couldn’t hold back a soft whimper.

Jian Yuanbai chuckled softly and released him, wiping the lingering trace of intimacy from his lips with his thumb. “See? You’re not resisting.”

Jiang Tang glared at him fiercely, but with the misty sheen in his beautiful eyes, there was no intimidation at all. He gritted his teeth and spat, “Straight guy! Thank you!!”

Jian Yuanbai didn’t argue. When he gently placed Jiang Tang back on the ground, he simply said, “You’re not allowed to dance with anyone else.”

Jiang Tang stormed off without looking back, his voice trembling with embarrassment, “I never dance the female role when dancing with others!”

Tonight was the first time.
