LABMY CH27
“You…”
“I…”
Both of them spoke at the same time and fell into silence again. For once, Jian Yuanbai felt a rare sense of awkwardness and panic. That push just now was meant to push Wei Zhenge’s hand away, but unexpectedly, he hit the target right on the spot.
He didn’t know where things went wrong. In his daze, he felt that the force he used shouldn’t have caused such a reaction. But in the midst of extreme embarrassment, Jian Yuanbai quickly threw that doubt to the back of his mind.
Wei Zhenge’s fingertip only brushed against the burning heat, but in the darkness, his courage seemed to grow bolder. “Do you want me to help you?”
“You… help me?!” Jian Yuanbai turned to look at him in disbelief. In the dimly lit room, his eyes met Wei Zhenge’s beautiful gaze.
The heat under the blanket surged, steaming up from the gaps. In the hazy, half-enclosed space, the atmosphere grew increasingly ambiguous.
Jian Yuanbai’s mouth went dry, and his Adam’s apple rolled up and down as he stared at Wei Zhenge with burning eyes, his voice carrying an uncontrollable hint of anticipation. “How are you going to help me?”
Compared to him, Wei Zhenge seemed much calmer, speaking as if this were a completely normal thing. “With my hand, of course. Don’t all guys help each other out in the dormitory?”
He spoke casually, but his ears were burning red. Fortunately, the darkness became his best camouflage, allowing him to speak with a seemingly composed tone.
In truth… he had done it on purpose. Otherwise, how could such a “coincidence” happen?
Jian Yuanbai’s expression instantly fell like a wilted eggplant. “Everyone… helps each other out? Then… have you done it with others before?”
Wei Zhenge replied, “No. I have social anxiety, remember? I’m not close to them.”
“…Do you want me to help you?” He lowered his voice.
Hearing this, Jian Yuanbai instantly shook off his awkwardness. Yet, he couldn’t help but greedily add, “I don’t do this kind of thing with others. I only do it with my… wife.”
Wei Zhenge’s body stiffened, and the heat within him rapidly faded. The emotions that had been surging since seeing Jian Yuanbai at the Wei residence instantly dropped to freezing point. He retracted his hand and said coldly, “Then go do it with your wife.”
He… actually had a wife.
Wei Zhenge fell into uncontrollable self-loathing. What the hell was he doing?
Damn it. If Wei Zhenge hadn’t been right there, Jian Yuanbai would have punched himself.
Jian Yuanbai could clearly see the exposed earlobe when Wei Zhenge turned his head. The small, plump earlobe was burning red and showed no sign of cooling down, like a piece of fine, translucent red jade, glowing beautifully.
The more he looked, the drier his throat became. He couldn’t help but want to take that soft flesh into his mouth and taste what it felt like.
Little Jian refused to calm down and instead became even more restless.
Unwilling to give up, Jian Yuanbai moved closer to Wei Zhenge. He didn’t dare to press against him with his “Little Jian,” so he reached under the blanket, found Wei Zhenge’s wrist, and gently slid his fingers down his warm skin. Then, he intertwined his fingers with Wei Zhenge’s and lightly shook their hands together.
His voice was filled with grievance, pretending to be pitiful: “But I don’t have a wife right now. Help me, Little Pillow.”
Wei Zhenge’s heart skipped a beat, his pulse thundering in his ears. His palm, which was clasped with Jian Yuanbai’s, began to sweat slightly, but he couldn’t bear to let go.
“…Okay,” he replied.
The moment he spoke, his voice was so hoarse that it startled him. Just as he was about to clear his throat and say something to cover it up, Jian Yuanbai had already impatiently pulled him into greeting “Little Jian.”
Little Jian, who had emerged eagerly from the jungle, warmly welcomed this new friend. Its burning enthusiasm made the new friend a bit scared and wanting to escape.
But the thought of running was crushed by Big Jian. Not only that, but he even dragged the new friend’s twin brother along for the ride.
The two greeted each other, intimately getting closer and joyfully expressing their excitement. Little Jian leaned against Little Pillow, while Big Jian embraced Little Pillow.
Jian Yuanbai’s low, ragged breaths formed a scorching melody in Wei Zhenge’s ears. His gaze burned as he stared at that increasingly red earlobe, internally battling with himself.
If they just “touched” Little Jian, he could barely count it as “helping each other out.”
But if he went and bit it… there would be no excuse left.
As Little Jian released its reluctant tears after the intense interaction, Jian Yuanbai, in a moment of dizziness, leaned in and licked that earlobe.
The flesh in his mouth was scalding hot, like a piece of burning red jade.
He held it between his lips, licking and teasing with his tongue, even lightly grinding it with his teeth, making the soft flesh even hotter, burning like a blazing fire.
The person in his arms trembled the moment Jian Yuanbai’s tongue touched him, but he didn’t resist. Instead, he obediently allowed himself to be held, silently accepting Jian Yuanbai’s excessive play with his earlobe.
It was as if no matter what Jian Yuanbai did to him, he wouldn’t refuse, letting him take whatever he wanted.
Such thoughts made Jian Yuanbai even more unable to stop himself. His lips and tongue reluctantly left the ear lobe he had sucked until it turned red, then slowly trailed down along the skin behind Wei Zhenge’s ear.
The wet, heated kisses, accompanied by scorching breaths, lingered on the side of Wei Zhenge’s neck, leaving behind faint red marks and moist traces, like a string of decadent petals blooming in the depths of desire on his pale, porcelain-like skin.
Jian Yuanbai’s eyes grew even hotter as he looked at it. His kisses kept moving downward. He wanted to be the gardener who plants flowers, and Wei Zhenge’s beautiful body was the soil he desired most.
His prominent Adam’s apple rolled up and down in frustration, and his breaths grew deeper and more hoarse. The clothes covering Wei Zhenge’s collarbone blocked his way forward. Without thinking, Jian Yuanbai reached out, intending to tear off the obstructive pajamas.
A slender, fair hand pressed down on his hand. Wei Zhenge’s voice trembled slightly, trying to maintain composure, “What are you doing?”
“This… is no longer within the scope of helping each other out, Jian Yuanbai.”
Hearing this, Jian Yuanbai looked up and saw Wei Zhenge biting his lower lip. His expression was complicated, and the corners of his eyes were flushed red. Jian Yuanbai didn’t say anything. He simply stared at him and slowly leaned toward those red, moist eyes, unable to suppress the urge within him.
He wanted to kiss him and use the wetness under Wei Zhenge’s eyes to quench the burning thirst in his throat.
But Wei Zhenge pushed him away, “I know sometimes people do inappropriate things when they lose their minds, but… don’t do this again next time, okay?”
Jian Yuanbai hadn’t even had time to feel disappointed when he selectively ignored all the other words and only caught two key ones: “Next time? You’re saying… there can be a next time?”
Wei Zhenge’s eyes flickered slightly. “It seems… there shouldn’t be a next time. I suddenly remembered… you said you like men. What we’re doing… isn’t appropriate.”
“Besides, don’t you treat me like your little son?” Wei Zhenge looked at Jian Yuanbai with a half-smile, his words carrying a deeper meaning. “This kind of behavior… isn’t it a bit immoral?”
If there was ever a moment when Jian Yuanbai truly experienced what it felt like to “lift a rock and smash his own foot,” this was it.
For the first time in his life, he refuted something so quickly, “I don’t anymore!”
“That was only when I first became your guardian… Just a little bit. But now, I think… we’re no longer in that kind of relationship.”
Wei Zhenge’s heart tightened. He nervously asked with hidden anticipation, “Then… what kind of relationship do we have now?”
Jian Yuanbai thought for a moment and said firmly and loudly, “Brothers who help each other out!”
“So… you can’t do this kind of thing with anyone else, okay? I’m your best brother.”
Wei Zhenge’s expression instantly turned cold. Almost expressionless, he sat up, lifted the blanket, and got out of bed.
Jian Yuanbai looked at him eagerly, “Where are you going?”
Wei Zhenge sneered, “To take a shower, ‘good brother.'”
The fact that he had been foolishly expecting Jian Yuanbai to say something meaningful just now made him feel like a complete idiot. He should have known that Jian Yuanbai’s brain wouldn’t be able to come up with anything good.
By the time Wei Zhenge finished showering and settled back in bed, it was already past midnight. After everything that happened that day, he was exhausted and quickly fell asleep.
Jian Yuanbai quietly moved closer to him and softly called out, “Wife.”
The moonlight silently witnessed this scene.
Suddenly, the system’s cold voice interrupted Jian Yuanbai’s foolish happiness, “He’s not your wife.”
“He’s the future ‘Long AoTian’ who will have three wives.”
Jian Yuanbai: “I won’t let Little Pillow have three wives.”
The system ruthlessly questioned, “Then what if, in the future, Wei Zhenge falls in love with those three people? What will you do?”
“What can you even do?”
Jian Yuanbai froze at the question. He wanted to say he would lock Little Pillow up and not let him see anyone else.
But under the moonlight, he saw Wei Zhenge’s sleeping face.
Even with his eyes closed, Wei Zhenge still looked beautiful. The side of his neck was still marked with the string of kiss marks Jian Yuanbai had just left behind.
Jian Yuanbai couldn’t imagine the day when Wei Zhenge would kiss someone else.
That thought made him angry, or rather… filled him with jealousy and rage.
The sleeping Wei Zhenge looked just like he did when Jian Yuanbai first saw him at the school gate, making Jian Yuanbai want to get closer. Yet, before he could speak, he realized he couldn’t do it—he couldn’t lock Wei Zhenge up.
He didn’t want to hurt Wei Zhenge, no matter the reason, not even out of love.
Jian Yuanbai’s mood sank as he replied softly, “I would leave.”
“I can’t stop him from loving others. I can only control myself and not hurt him.”
Suddenly, he asked the system, with utmost seriousness, “But why does Little Pillow marry three wives in the original plot? Can love really be shared?”
The system fell silent. After a moment, it sighed, “Let me think about it.”
Looking at the diamond-shaped crystal in front of it, the system couldn’t help but sigh again. How did things end up like this? It no longer knew whether it should insist on sending Jian Yuanbai away.
Jian Yuanbai didn’t know, but the system saw it clearly—everything that happened tonight was guided step by step by Wei Zhenge. He was able to reach this point only because the person in front of him was Jian Yuanbai.
If, at this point, Jian Yuanbai silently left, Wei Zhenge would never be able to move on. In this world, for the rest of his life, he would never be able to move on.
The little cat-like system stared gloomily at the shattered crystal and sighed, only to hear Jian Yuanbai casually ask, “What are you thinking about?”
“You’re useless anyway. You should just focus on fixing your system that’s crashed from watching too many romance dramas.”
The system replied faintly, “You should leave.”
“I think with your brain, even if you stay, you’ll never get your wife.”
Jian Yuanbai: “?”
“Why?”
With a satisfied smile, he said, “We’re already good brothers who help each other. How far away is he from becoming my wife?”
“Not far at all!”
The system looked at him with pity. It really wanted to tell him that if he hadn’t said that just now, he would already have his wife by now.
But it couldn’t say that, fearing it would wake up Jian Yuanbai instead. It could only reply perfunctorily, “Mhm, whatever you say.”
Ignoring the system, Jian Yuanbai gently pulled Wei Zhenge into his arms.
“Wife… mine.”
