AD Chapter 41

They indulged in each other, spending the entire second half of the night together, and only fell asleep in each other’s arms when the sky was about to break into dawn.

During the night, Shen Du woke up and fell asleep again, repeatedly, groaning softly. It was unclear whether he was dreaming or not, but he kept mumbling nonsense. At one point, he complained about a sore bottom, then a sore stomach. Qin Yi opened his eyes several times, felt his forehead to make sure he wasn’t running a fever, and then carefully observed Shen Du’s expressions.

When he saw that Shen Du only seemed slightly tired, he relaxed and closed his eyes, pulling him into his arms. He reached under the blanket, “Let me rub it for you…”

“No.”

Shen Du thought he was about to do something again and tried to push him away, but was too lazy to move, still keeping his eyes closed, his voice sticky, “Your fingers are too long.”

The subconscious words made Qin Yi open his eyes again and look at him, his breathing growing heavier.

Qin Yi, using the dim light filtering through the curtains, studied his face, then, after a while, pulled him into his arms as if he were a precious treasure. “Shen Du, why are you so good?”

His chest was warm, but Shen Du thought it was too hot. He raised his hand and slapped Qin Yi’s chin lightly, speaking in a tone that lacked any real threat, “Get off.”

And then Qin Yi got even closer.

Shen Du slept deeply, and in his half-conscious state, he felt as though his bottom was pressed against a hot furnace. He tried to escape, but instead, he felt like he had fallen into a volcano.

It was burning hot, and he felt sweat breaking out all over his body.

He slept until the afternoon, waking up due to hunger.

His mouth was dry, and his throat hurt.

In his dazed state, Shen Du heard the familiar sound of someone typing on a keyboard.

He opened his eyes and saw the world transformed into a giant glass dome, filled with honey-like hazy daylight, the curtains slightly lifted by the wind.

He couldn’t hear anything around him, just staring at the side profile of the person in front of him, not realizing when they had turned their head.

Qin Yi was casually wearing a shirt, the collar half-open, and upon closer inspection, there were obvious bite marks on his shoulder and Adam’s apple.

Shen Du stared at him quietly, lost in thought.

Qin Yi didn’t want to disturb him, but seeing that Shen Du hadn’t moved for a long time, still looking dazed, he was worried that something might be wrong, so he closed his laptop and spoke up: “You’re awake, want some water?”

As soon as he spoke, Shen Du recalled everything, feeling a bit embarrassed and awkward because, to his shame, he thought he had somehow gained an advantage.

He opened his mouth, but the words got stuck in his throat, his throat too dry to speak.

Qin Yi handed him the honey water he had already prepared. “Drink some.”

After finishing the entire cup, Shen Du felt a little better. Once his body regained some strength, his mind became free to think about other things.

The images from last night replayed in his mind like a PowerPoint presentation, clearer and more explicit than the videos he had watched at Xu Qingluo’s place.

Shen Du never imagined he would end up like that.

“…”

He took a deep breath, holding the glass tightly, not daring to speak.

How should he act to make himself look less pathetic?

The air was filled with a sweet scent, and Qin Yi gently touched his finger to him. Shen Du shuddered, and the cup fell into the blanket.

Qin Yi picked it up and asked, “Want more?”

Shen Du looked at him with a complex expression, watching his lips move, and his mind suddenly flashed back to the scene from last night, when Qin Yi had been between his legs.

Just thinking about it made his legs go weak, and he almost defeatedly muttered, “You really are a first-timer, didn’t practice with anyone else beforehand?”

“…”

What kind of question was that?

“Thanks for the affirmation, Xiao Du.” Qin Yi laughed briefly, then said seriously, “Both Lao Qin and Xiao Qin are very satisfied.”

“…”

Shit.

Who the hell asked whether you were satisfied?

He would have been fine if Qin Yi hadn’t said that, but now all he could think about were the embarrassing things he had done these past two days. He really wanted to dig a hole and bury himself.

“I have a good eye,” Qin Yi said slowly.

At first, Shen Du didn’t understand why he suddenly said that, but when he looked up and saw Qin Yi’s gaze, he suddenly realized. He immediately rushed over to cover his mouth, but Qin Yi tilted his head slightly, easily dodging him, and as their lips brushed, he continued.

“I can tell where you enjoy it. I can see it.”

“Even if you don’t want to admit it, your body is very sensitive, and to me—”

“Ah!! Don’t say it!!” Shen Du screamed.

He braced his body, which felt like it was falling apart, and sat on Qin Yi, looking like he was ready to fight. His expression was fierce as he grabbed Qin Yi’s neck and said, “I’ll kill you!!”

After their shower last night, Qin Yi had picked out a shirt for him to wear.

Qin Yi was trembling from Shen Du shaking him, but his hand was steady as he lifted the shirt’s hem, “Let me see if the mark is still there…”

Shen Du’s head went numb, and he ran into the bathroom in a panic, without even putting on pants.

Qin Yi’s mouth was so annoying!

On the sink, there was a new toothbrush. Shen Du squeezed out some toothpaste and put it in his mouth. After washing his hands, he looked up and met his own reflection in the mirror, seeing the red marks on his neck and collarbone.

Last night, he had been pressed against the sink, in the exact spot he was standing now, with Qin Yi entering him from behind, ordering him to lift his bottom and spread his legs, while also holding his chin to make him look in the mirror.

Shen Du didn’t want to recall what he had seen at that time.

He only remembered how terrifying Qin Yi’s expression had been, just like in his dream.

Shen Du lifted his shirt again, and the fingerprints on both sides of his hips hadn’t faded. All of Qin Yi’s marks were still there. Following the mottled traces, Shen Du could vividly recall the entire process.

It was amazing—he was still alive.

It felt so good to be alive.

When Shen Du finished washing up and came out, Qin Yi was already dressed and sitting on the couch.

“What do you want to eat? I’ll have someone deliver it.”

They didn’t live here often, so the fridge was empty.

There were several unread messages on his phone. Shen Du opened them one by one. Just as he was about to sit down, he suddenly jumped up as if remembering something, “Oh no, the cat!”

“The cat hasn’t been fed!”

Qin Yi thought to himself, by the time you remembered, the cat would have starved.

“Sit,” he said, opening his legs. “I already had someone feed them, don’t worry.”

“Someone? Who?”

Shen Du glanced over but didn’t move.

Qin Yi reached out with his long arm, pulled Shen Du into his lap, and rested his chin on Shen Du’s shoulder. “I had Lu Ning go help feed them. That guy really likes cats.”

Shen Du felt an itch on his neck as he sat on the sofa between Qin Yi’s legs. “When did you say that?”

When?

Qin Yi thought for a moment, “When you had just fallen asleep.”

It must have been around 5 or 6 in the morning. He called Lu Ning, who first scolded him harshly, but when he heard it was about feeding the cats, especially two of them, he couldn’t react fast enough and then started laughing foolishly.

Qin Yi hung up the phone immediately, but that guy wouldn’t give up and sent him a WeChat message to bother him.

Qin Yi didn’t reply.

“I had just fallen asleep?”

That must have been pretty late; the two cats hadn’t even had dinner.

Shen Du tried to sit up, but Qin Yi grabbed his hand and pressed him back down. His bottom landed hard, causing a sharp pain.

He gritted his teeth, trying not to make a sound.

But Qin Yi still noticed. He pulled Shen Du up and asked, “Want me to rub it for you again?”

“Rub my ass.”

Well, that was literally rubbing his ass.

Qin Yi turned his head and chuckled, then rested his chin back on Shen Du’s shoulder. “Alright, I won’t move. Let’s see what to eat.”

Qin Yi wrapped his arms around him, clearly treating him like a warm, human-shaped pillow.

Shen Du looked down and saw Qin Yi’s lock screen and wallpaper.

It was a photo of them kissing in the bathroom that day.

Qin Yi’s gaze was fierce, and it made Shen Du’s eyelids twitch.

“Are you cold?” Qin Yi asked.

“No.”

He just felt inexplicably intimidated by that look in his eyes, though he couldn’t explain why.

He wasn’t sure if the photo had been edited, but the overall tone and composition looked very, very beautiful.

Qin Yi opened a private dish app, scrolling lazily with his thumb. “How about we order some soup first?”

Who orders soup before the main course?

Shen Du reached out and temporarily took over his phone. He randomly picked a few dishes that looked good, then scrolled down to choose something else, but his phone rang.

[Lao Dada – Incoming call]

Shen Du straightened up, fully awake.

“My dad.”

Qin Yi paused for a moment, then released him. “Go ahead and take it.”

But Shen Du didn’t do what Qin Yi expected. Instead, he stared at the screen for a while before directly answering the call.

Qin Yi inhaled the fragrance from his hair and returned to his usual expression.

“Dad.”

The room was very quiet, and Shen Fushan’s voice came through the phone, sounding a bit excited. “Son, your mom and I are coming back soon. Are you happy?”

Shen Du was quite surprised. He instinctively glanced at the person behind him, who had a neutral expression. When their eyes met, Qin Yi lazily raised the corner of his mouth and smiled.

Shen Du turned his gaze away. “When are you coming back?”

“We’re taking a flight on the 7th, landing on the 8th. Your mom and I originally planned to land in Yunshan to visit you, but she has a friend whose son is getting married, so we have to go back for the wedding. You remember Aunt Lin, right…”

Shen Fushan rambled on and on.

Shen Du only caught the “7th” part. He muttered, “The 7th, what day is it today?”

Qin Yi unlocked the phone.

16:13.

Saturday, August 3rd.

That’s only five days away?

Not long now.

“Son, are you listening? Why aren’t you saying anything? Your mom and I are coming back soon. Why aren’t you excited?”

Yao Meiyuan’s voice came from the background. “Probably too happy to speak.”

“…”

The call ended.

“Your parents are coming back. Does that mean—”

“I’m going back to Beijing.”

The two spoke almost simultaneously, then fell silent.

“…”

Qin Yi pressed his lips together, saying nothing. As he unlocked his phone again, he suddenly remembered what day it was.

August 3rd, a lucky day, everything going smoothly.

It was the auspicious day that Zheng Qing had calculated for him.

The next second, Shen Du suddenly called his name: “Qin Yi.”

Qin Yi responded with a soft “Hmm?”

Shen Du turned to look at him and said seriously, “When I go back this time, I’m coming out to my parents.”

“I’m going to take responsibility for you.”
