FIMA Ch165: Naughty

Xie Xueyi lounged on Gu Siyuan, picking and choosing from the spiritual dishes served earlier, complaining about this and that while eating.

Gu Siyuan put down his wine cup and glanced at the person in his arms, “Taixuan Pavilion is the sect’s property and the best restaurant in the city. And you’re complaining so much.”

Xie Xueyi snorted, “But it’s not as good as your cooking.”

Gu Siyuan’s lips curved slightly, “If you don’t like it, just leave it. We don’t lack spirit stones, especially since we’ve just come into a fortune.”

Xie Xueyi glanced at the space ring on his finger, thinking about the treasures inside. If word got out, even Nascent Soul cultivators from all over the continent would come to rob him.

He glared at Gu Siyuan, “You shouldn’t casually talk about that. It’s too dangerous. Besides, no matter how many spirit stones you have, they will run out eventually. Ever heard of saving?”

“No,” Gu Siyuan shook his head.

Xie Xueyi glared at him.

The next moment, Gu Siyuan spoke again in a serious tone, “After all, I will never lack spirit stones. Even if you spend all these, I can quickly earn more.”

“…” Xie Xueyi.

Fine.

Though it sounded like a fantasy, this was Gu Siyuan…

Given Gu Siyuan’s abilities, it indeed wasn’t a difficult task.

But…

Xie Xueyi puffed out his cheeks, wrapping his arms around Gu Siyuan’s neck, his voice softening as he leaned in closer, “Brother, but is it really about the spirit stones?”

Gu Siyuan pinched his cheek, “It’s about being spoiled.”

“Yes,” Xie Xueyi nodded earnestly, pouting adorably, “I just want to eat your cooking and drink your tea. No one else, no matter how good, can compare to you.”

Gu Siyuan lowered his head and lightly bit his lip, “I’m truly moved.”

At that moment, a commotion erupted outside.

Xie Xueyi craned his neck to look and frowned, “What’s going on? Didn’t they say each private room has an isolation formation? How can there be such a disturbance?”

Gu Siyuan squinted his eyes, “Wait and see.”

Sure enough, a moment later, there was a knock on the door, and the voice of the Taixuan Pavilion owner came through.

After hearing the owner’s request, Xie Xueyi jumped up from Gu Siyuan’s lap in anger, “What did you say? You want us to give up our private room?”

The owner, a middle-aged fat man, looked embarrassed but had a dismissive tone in his eyes, “We will compensate you with double the spirit stones.”

Xie Xueyi sneered, “Compensation? Spirit stones? Do you know who I am? Do I look like someone who lacks spirit stones?”

The owner smiled and spoke kindly, “Then triple it. I apologize for the inconvenience, but a very important person has arrived outside. If you leave now, it might leave a good impression on them.”

An important person?

Xie Xueyi was almost amused by his words. He couldn’t be bothered to argue with the owner any longer, “Get lost. I said we’re not leaving.”

The owner’s face darkened.

As the owner of Taixuan Pavilion, he had a certain status and background. He was usually very diplomatic and would never do something that would anger his guests, regardless of their status.

However, private rooms at Taixuan Pavilion were always in high demand, and today, due to an exchange auction, they were even more so.

Most of the guests in the private rooms on the fourth floor were familiar faces and prominent figures. The two in this particular room were new and unknown, visiting for the first time.

Now, most of the young talents of the Taixuan Immortal Sect have gone to the secret realm. The ones here now are either casual cultivators visiting for sightseeing or ordinary young disciples from the sect.

And the guest who came now had a very prestigious identity; he was the fiancé of the chief of Ziji Mountain from the Taixuan Immortal Sect.

Weighing the options, this was the only way.

His brows furrowed as he said in a deep voice, “This guest should not be too unreasonable with their words, otherwise it will not look good for everyone later.”

Xie Xueyi tilted his head and snorted coldly, “Unreasonable? How could it be unreasonable? Do you want someone to come and drive us away?”

The owner remained silent.

But his silence conveyed a certain meaning.

“Alright, you actually dare to…” Xie Xueyi’s eyes widened, almost ready to pounce on the owner for a fight.

He had just struck it rich and was showing off with Gu Siyuan, only to have someone come and trample on him in the blink of an eye. This was too humiliating.

Gu Siyuan put down his tea cup, reached out, and pulled Xie Xueyi into his arms. His eyes, icy cold, swept over the owner, “Who is outside? Whoever wants this private room, let them come and speak to me directly.”

The owner was startled.

Gu Siyuan had been quietly sitting at the table drinking tea, so he hadn’t paid much attention to him. Now, seeing him up close, he felt an intimidating aura and found the face vaguely familiar, as if he had seen it somewhere before…

He muttered, “You… who are you?”

Xie Xueyi sneered, “Is the person outside a big shot? If they’re really significant, they would recognize my brother. Let them in.”

The owner hesitated.

Could these two really be someone he didn’t recognize…

But before he could make a decision, the door to the private room was kicked open.

Three figures swaggered in, the leading person impatiently saying, “Owner Zhao, are you incompetent? I just asked you to get them out, and you can’t even manage that. Useless! Get them out now…”

Hearing the commotion at the door, Owner Zhao turned awkwardly, trying to explain.

However, he noticed that the leading person suddenly stopped speaking, his face turning pale and twisted, like a duck suddenly hung upside down.

Owner Zhao called out, “Young Master Ruan…”

Xie Xueyi raised his eyebrows, looking at Ruan Li and the two disciples from Ziji Mountain, and sneered, “Oh, so this is the so-called big shot, the one who forced us to give up the private room…”

Ruan Li gritted his teeth, stunned.

The two people behind him looked at Gu Siyuan and immediately exclaimed, “Big… Big Senior Brother!”

Owner Zhao looked at them, then at Gu Siyuan.

Finally, some distant memories resurfaced.

He had been fortunate to attend the Five Mountain Competition of the Taixuan Immortal Sect in the past, and he had seen Gu Siyuan there.

Gu Siyuan stood with his hands behind his back, his expression indifferent, “Who did you say should get out?”

The two’s scalps tightened, “No, no, Big Senior Brother, we… we didn’t know it was you inside.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Siyuan’s expression grew colder, “And if it wasn’t me, it would have been okay? The sect took you in to let you bully others?”

“Big Senior Brother, we’re sorry, we were wrong.” The two repeatedly apologized, “We won’t dare again.”

Gu Siyuan said lightly, “Go back to the sect and receive punishment at the Discipline Hall.”

“Yes.” The two immediately responded.

Ruan Li glanced at Gu Siyuan, anger and frustration in his expression.

Previously, Ji Jinghuan was the number one in the sect, and he had never regarded Gu Siyuan highly. But now…

At this moment, Xie Xueyi suddenly smiled and said, “Brother, aren’t there three people who should go to the Discipline Hall?”

Gu Siyuan nodded, “Of course, not one less.”

Ruan Li’s eyes widened, “Gu Siyuan, don’t go too far.”

Gu Siyuan remained expressionless, “Go to the Discipline Hall or leave the Taixuan Immortal Sect.”

Ruan Li was furious, “Gu Siyuan, do you think you can control the entire Taixuan Immortal Sect?”

Gu Siyuan looked at him coldly, “You can try. Or do you think the Ji family would want to oppose me for your sake?”

“…” Ruan Li’s face changed.

He was already disliked by the Ji family, relying solely on his relationship with Ji Jinghuan. Now that Ji Jinghuan was not in the mountain, if he caused any trouble, it would only worsen his standing with the Ji family.

“I understand.”

Ruan Li clenched his fist, looking at Gu Siyuan with resentment.

Xie Xueyi met his gaze and his expression changed, “What are you looking at? What kind of look is that? Are you thinking about how to get back at my brother?”

Ruan Li turned his head silently and walked out with large strides.

The two disciples from Ziji Mountain quickly nodded to Gu Siyuan and then hurriedly followed Ruan Li out.

“Brother Ruan, don’t be angry. It’s the same if we go to the third floor for the exchange meeting.”

“Brother Ruan, my friend brought many good things this time…”

“…”

Xie Xueyi watched one of the Ziji Mountain disciples’ figures, squinting his eyes.

He only looked away when the three were far away.

Gu Siyuan raised an eyebrow, “What are you looking at?”

“Nothing.” Xie Xueyi shook his head, stepping forward to hug Gu Siyuan’s arm excitedly, “Brother, you were so impressive just now.”

Gu Siyuan looked at him with a smile, “Hmm, but I think I’ve heard that many times.”

Xie Xueyi pouted, “Really? Brother, every time I praise you, it’s sincere…”

Gu Siyuan’s lips curved slightly as he held Xie Xueyi’s hand, “Have you had enough to eat? Let’s return to the sect.”

Xie Xueyi swayed his arm, acting coquettishly, “Then you make tea for me when we get back, and also roast meat!”

Gu Siyuan nodded, “Okay.”

“Master…” Owner Zhao stood at the door, his expression embarrassed, looking at Gu Siyuan and wanting to say something.

Gu Siyuan, however, paid no attention to him, giving him a cold glance and saying, “Do as you wish.”

Gu Siyuan possessed the highest authority in the Taixuan Immortal Sect. The two of them made their way up the mountain smoothly and returned to the Linyu Water Pavilion on Qingchen Mountain.

In the realm of cultivation, it was perpetually spring. Even after several months away, the white lotuses in the lake still swayed gracefully, and the waterside pavilion remained immaculate, unchanged from before their departure.

Gu Siyuan set up two stoves on the corridor of the pavilion, brewing tea on one side and roasting meat on the other.

Xie Xueyi stood beside him, laughing and causing mischief. Suddenly, he said, “Brother, I want to talk to you about something.”

Gu Siyuan raised his gaze, “Is it about the disciple from Ziji Mountain who was with Ruan Li?”

Xie Xueyi was surprised, “How did you know?”

Gu Siyuan’s eyes deepened, his tone firm, “I sensed a similar aura from him as I did from you before. He and you share the same origin; he’s a pawn arranged by the demonic sect within the Taixuan Immortal Sect.”

Xie Xueyi leaned against Gu Siyuan, nodding slightly, “Most likely.”

Gu Siyuan extinguished the fire with a wave of his sleeve, then held Xie Xueyi’s chin, their eyes meeting, “However, what sect did he capture you from? Judging by your cultivation level, even if you entered the evil sect’s three major sects, you would have stood out. But during the time in the secret realm, Yu Haofeng and the others didn’t know you, so…”

Xie Xueyi puffed up his cheeks, “You noticed, huh? My sect is very secretive, hidden in a small secret realm.”

Gu Siyuan nodded, somewhat surprised, “A small secret realm?”

In the current era of scarce spiritual energy, with space highly unstable, countless secret realms had disappeared across the continent. For a sect to independently possess a small secret realm was exceedingly difficult; none of the major powers on the continent, whether the three major demonic sects or the four major immortal sects, had such capability.

Xie Xueyi nodded proudly, “Yes… extremely secretive. Normally, no one is allowed to enter or leave without permission. I managed to escape after planning for about ten years.”

Gu Siyuan’s heart tingled slightly. He didn’t pursue the topic of the secret realm further, instead tightening his grip on Xie Xueyi’s hands.

Looking up at him, Xie Xueyi asked, “What’s wrong?”

Gu Siyuan lightly touched his forehead with his, softly saying, “These years, it’s been hard on you.”

Xie Xueyi’s body trembled.

Then, shifting his buttocks on Gu Siyuan’s legs, he pressed his face against his and exhaled gently, “Brother, are you feeling sorry for me?”

“Mm.” Gu Siyuan hesitated for a moment, then nodded firmly.

In the next moment, Xie Xueyi reached up and tugged at a strand of Gu Siyuan’s hair, huffing, “Hmph, feeling sorry, serves you right!”

Gu Siyuan furrowed his brows slightly.

Cupping Gu Siyuan’s face, Xie Xueyi said indignantly, “It’s because of you. When you first came to the Taixuan Immortal Sect, you said you were going to focus on cultivation, and then you went to my house to call off the engagement. If you had taken me with you here, I wouldn’t have encountered all this. Maybe we would have been together long ago.”

Gu Siyuan licked his lips.

Well, all of this was the original owner’s doing.

After a moment of silence, he pinched Xie Xueyi’s neck, nodding softly, “Mm, it’s all my fault.”

Xie Xueyi kissed his cheek loudly, then angrily said, pulling his hair, “Hmph, so you’re feeling sorry! “

Gu Siyuan smiled lightly, patting his buttocks, “Why wait until later? Can’t I do it now?”

This was what Xie Xueyi said to him in the cave.

Xie Xueyi’s cheeks reddened, evidently remembering.

He bit Gu Siyuan’s earlobe shyly, “Brother, you’re so bad!”

Gu Siyuan stood up, carrying him in his arms, and walked towards the room, “Oh, there’s even worse to come.”

“Really?” Xie Xueyi wrapped his legs around Gu Siyuan’s waist, breathing heavily near his ear, “Master…!”

  1. Ngl, the fact that 99% of characters in cultivation stories act like tyrants is the reason I kinda hate this genre. It doesn’t matter if they’re the protagonists, the antagonists, or some random supporting characters– if they happen to be the “strongest” in any given setting, 9 times out of 10 they’ll abuse their power. And not just against other cultivators, but against the common folks too. Gi Siyuan said it himself: I the cultivation world, might is right. But it’s still annoying af for any reader who isn’t a sociopath.
