UCTOOT CH60.1
Shi Shu’s eyes widened, his mouth now empty.
Xie Wuchi’s breath brushed past the tip of his nose. He switched the steamed bun to his other hand, and in the next second, he was about to kiss his lips, but after the distinct touch, the distance was once again pulled apart.
Xie Wuchi bit into the part that was wet with Shi Shu’s saliva, as if tempting him, chewed, and swallowed.
“…………”
Shi Shu wiped his mouth, genuinely shocked. His first reaction was, Xie Wuchi, you’re so handsome. His second reaction was, why does such a handsome man like men?
Shi Shu looked at the cross-section he had bitten. “You, why? Why are you gay?”
In the silence, Xie Wuchi tore off and ate the half that Shi Shu had licked, not answering. The more Shi Shu looked, the more he felt like he was being sexually harassed. “Xie Wuchi, watch your influence.”
Xie Wuchi: “What’s wrong?”
“Is it so fun to eat a guy’s saliva?”
Xie Wuchi: “Eating other places would be more fun.”
“Ahhhhhh! Ah!”
Shi Shu screamed in helpless rage, handed him the clean water, and returned to the simple bed. After Xie Wuchi wiped his hands clean, he began to put on the rest of his clothes. His physique was very masculine. Shi Shu knew gay men, but the ones he knew were all “0s” (bottoms), completely different from him.
Xie Wuchi finished dressing and sat in front of Shi Shu. Shi Shu took out the medicine bottle to apply it for him. “Hey, be careful when you go out. This Feng Kui Zhi is the same person who chased me at Gaohua Tower last time. I’m afraid we’ll run into trouble. Let’s not go out for now.”
Xie Wuchi: “Yes, transporting silver will slow them down. We won’t be traveling together all the time from now on.”
“The Taiyin Prefecture we’re going to, is it under the jurisdiction of this Feng guy?”
“It’s under the jurisdiction of his father, Feng Zhongshan. Feng Kui Zhi is just the youngest son. His two older brothers died in the war when the Great Min invaded the Great Jing over a decade ago. His father was rewarded for his meritorious service in defending the border and was made a Military Governor. He is the most renowned military household on the border.”
Shi Shu: “Alright, I’m afraid he’ll take a liking to me. I’m so done with these gay men, stay far, far away.”
Xie Wuchi: “Me.”
“You be quiet.”
Wrapping the gauze circle by circle, Shi Shu would occasionally look up and meet Xie Wuchi’s gaze, immediately feeling uncomfortable all over. It was fine during the day with a group of people, but now that the two of them were in the same room, the strange feeling was even stronger.
What kind of feeling does a gay man give? It’s like you treat him as a friend, interact, talk, but the other person’s every move might have sexual undertones. Shi Shu just felt uncomfortable.
From a purely romantic perspective, what’s so good about men? Just look at Shi Shu’s dumbass group of friends before he transmigrated. The mere thought of making out and hugging them made him want to puke.
The next morning, the bailiffs set off first. Shi Shu quickly left the station, not running into that Feng Kui Zhi. The horse-drawn carriages transporting the silver would travel more slowly. The bailiffs were ahead, so they could continue to avoid him from now on.
The journey for the next few days was like this. After wrapping cloth around the shackles, the chafing also improved a little.
On this day, Shi Shu suddenly realized that the group had left the Eastern Capital and arrived in Shukang Prefecture. The journey had been deep into autumn, and everything was bleak. As they walked along the main road, they passed countless mountains. When they reached a deep and narrow valley, Shi Shu suddenly found his surroundings very familiar.
“Xie Wuchi, isn’t this the Myriad Burial Pit where the bodies were burned during the Shukang Prefecture plague?”
Xie Wuchi stood on the cliff, looking on expressionlessly. “Yes, the people who died of the disease were all burned and buried in this pit.”
All sorts of images from the past flooded Shi Shu’s mind. Back then, during the great plague in Shukang Prefecture, the dead lay piled on top of each other, at least tens of thousands of them. Later, following Xie Wuchi’s advice, the plague was controlled, and after burning the bodies, they were covered with piles of earth. A sign was erected: “Myriad Corpse Pit of the Plague, No Digging, Violators Will Be Executed.” This area of land was very barren, with no cultivation or crops.
One memory, and the tragic scenes immediately flooded his mind.
And Xie Wuchi, who had worked day and night to manage the plague, even getting infected with the ghost toxin, cutting his wrist to let blood, falling into a high fever and coma for several days, nearly dying.
Shi Shu felt emotional. He turned back to look at him and said, “Lin Yangchun wrote a book called ‘On Miasma’ after returning to the Eastern Capital. It not only records the methods for suppressing the ghost toxin summarized in Shukang Prefecture, but also includes a large portion of your suggestions. In the future, if it spreads again after a war, it can be quickly quelled, and fewer people will die, right?”
Xie Wuchi stood with him on the edge of the cliff, looking down at the pile of corpses below the mountains.
Shi Shu grinned. “Xie Wuchi, you’ve rendered a great service! Because of you, who knows how many fewer people have died.”
Xie Wuchi’s expression was calm. He glanced at the Myriad Burial Pit and turned to leave.
“Hey? You don’t feel anything?” Shi Shu chased after him.
As he did, he carelessly stepped on a small blade of grass. The yellow earth on the Myriad Burial Pit was already covered with plants.
“Xie Wuchi, you gave so much hope!”
Below the city tower of Shukang Prefecture was a stone stele, recording this plague. The large characters “Xie Wuchi” were carved on it. To this day, people still place bouquets of flowers and pastries under the stele. There was also a mother with a sick child, kneeling before the stele, her forehead pressed against the cold stone, muttering, “Bless my child to get well soon, bless my child.”
Shi Shu asked, “So cool, aren’t you happy? Being a savior.”
Xie Wuchi: “Being a savior gives me no pleasure.”
Shi Shu: “Then what gives you pleasure?”
Xie Wuchi thought for a moment and said, “Trampling everyone under my feet, treating them like dogs.”
“…”
Shi Shu was stunned for a moment, then looked at him. “Damn, you.”
This topic could not continue. Xie Wuchi closed his eyes in the slightly fishy wind, his hair messed up by the wind. He shook his head. “It’s going to rain.”
Dark clouds rolled across the sky, the weather extremely gloomy.
Xu Erlang kept looking up at the sky. “Is this rain going to fall or not!”
Shi Shu didn’t speak to Xie Wuchi anymore. He covered the luggage on the horse with an oilcloth and took out an umbrella. “I knew it couldn’t be sunny all the time. But running into rain while traveling is really bad luck.”
Xu Erlang reminded him, “Watch your brother.”
In a moment, the heavy rain descended with the force of sweeping everything away. Shi Shu immediately opened the umbrella to shield Xie Wuchi’s head and supported him as they walked together. Some of the bailiffs had umbrellas, some didn’t, and were soaked to the bone.
The space under the umbrella was very small. When Shi Shu shielded Xie Wuchi, the rain fell on his own shoulder.
“Traveling in the rain is very bad,” Xu Erlang said. “The year before last, I was escorting a prisoner to Taiyin Prefecture. The rain was too heavy on the road. The man caught a cold from the rain and died at the station.”
Shi Shu asked, “Do many people die on the road to exile?”
“For an exile of three thousand li, few survive. Winter is coming soon, and Taiyin Prefecture is a bitterly cold border region. You two brothers better be prepared. Getting frostbite in the winter wind and rain is one thing, but having your hands and feet amputated is trouble.”
Shi Shu was being drenched by the downpour and was having some trouble breathing. Hearing this, his heart sank.
The rain was too heavy, and the road was really difficult to travel. Their things were all wet. They had to find a pavilion to rest first and continue walking when the rain let up. Inside the pavilion, Shi Shu took out a handkerchief to wipe the rainwater off Xie Wuchi.
The heavy rain refused to stop. If they didn’t leave, they probably wouldn’t reach the station by night. They had to continue on in the rain. All along the way, there were complaints and curses at the heavens.
But Xie Wuchi was still soaked through. When they finally reached the station, it was a scene of chaos. “Aiyo, all my clothes are wet, my clean clothes are wet too. Hurry, start a charcoal fire to dry them!”
“Don’t bother drying them. I think it’s going to rain again tomorrow. We don’t have to travel.”
“Rest for a day, is that okay? Let’s ask the lord from the palace.”
Shi Shu didn’t chat. He rushed to the kitchen at lightning speed to find hot water and brought a wooden bucket. “Xie Wuchi, quick, quick, quick, take a bath and wipe yourself clean!”
Xie Wuchi was soaked to the bone. The wounds on his body, wet with water, broke open and scabbed over, then the scabs were worn away again. But his expression was very calm, and he spoke very little. Hearing Shi Shu’s words, he took off all his clothes.
Seeing him naked, Shi Shu, a few meters away, also stripped off his clothes, quickly took a bath, and dried his hair. “You’re losing a lot of heat. Lie down on the bed first. I’ll take care of the rest.”
After a late-night snack, Xie Wuchi lay down to rest. Although he didn’t say he was tired, these days he would rest right after eating.
Shi Shu went downstairs. The station attendants and eunuchs had lit the oil lamps and were gambling, playing cards, and drinking under the light. “Xie Erlang, want to gamble too? We know you have money.”
Shi Shu: “I don’t gamble. You guys play on your own.”
“What’s the big deal, just for fun.”
“Fun~fun~for~fun~ I’m still not playing.”
It was bustling and noisy. Shi Shu watched for a while but couldn’t stop worrying about Xie Wuchi. He went upstairs again. The room was quiet. Xie Wuchi was lying in bed, sleeping.
Shi Shu went closer and tucked him in.
Downstairs, they were sure it would rain again tomorrow and were prepared to play cards all night. Shi Shu returned to the sickroom at ten o’clock. Xie Wuchi was up. Shi Shu asked, “You’re awake?”
Xie Wuchi supported himself with one hand on the bed railing, walked to the table, drank a cup of water, and responded with a low, muffled sound before returning to bed.
As Shi Shu climbed into bed, he thought, “Strange, Xie Wuchi hasn’t touched me these days. He’s actually been quite well-behaved.”
After thinking, he tucked the corner of the quilt for him. Shi Shu slept on the inside of the bed. In the middle of the night, a fierce storm raged outside the window. Fortunately, Shi Shu had prepared a thicker quilt in advance, and it was just right for the two of them.
Until, by his ear, he heard some heavy breathing.
Shi Shu’s eyes shot open. He turned to his side and saw Xie Wuchi’s forehead was covered in sweat. He reached out to touch it. He didn’t know when, but his forehead temperature had become extremely high, and his lips were clenched.
Shi Shu said, “Xie Wuchi, are you having a fever? Are you okay?”
He reached out and touched his face. Xie Wuchi must have been having a nightmare, tormented by it. The veins on his forehead and neck were throbbing, and light breaths were escaping from his parted lips.
Shi Shu muttered to himself, “I knew you would get sick. You’ve held on for so long. To only give in today, you’re really amazing.”
The sleeping Xie Wuchi lacked the punishing aura he had when he was awake. Although the first word that came to mind when he saw him was still “gay.” Shi Shu wiped the sweat from his brow with a handkerchief and prepared to sit up. “Let me see how you are.”
Unexpectedly, as soon as Shi Shu got closer, his wrist was grabbed, and then he was pulled into an embrace like a large teddy bear. Shi Shu first felt a sense of losing control. By the time he came to his senses, his shoulder was resting in Xie Wuchi’s embrace.
“Damn, can you not be so sudden?”
Like a toy, or a rag doll, Xie Wuchi held his waist and even put his leg over his body. Shi Shu was startled. The scene of Xie Wuchi being sick in Shukang Prefecture came to his mind, and his stiff body slowly relaxed.
“Alright, alright, it’s okay…” Shi Shu struggled to free one hand, and after hesitating, he placed it on Xie Wuchi’s back, patting gently. “It’s okay, sleep, sleep, it’s okay.”
As he patted, he said, “You’ve been so quiet for so long. I know you’re not feeling well in your heart. It would be better if you just let it all out sooner.”
It was just that the posture was too intimate. Not only did Xie Wuchi have his leg over Shi Shu, but he slowly changed to a position where he was pressing down on him. Xie Wuchi was like a drowning person unconsciously clinging to a piece of driftwood in the sea. Not only had he invaded Shi Shu’s personal space, but he also seemed to have a tendency to want to perish together with him.
Shi Shu closed his eyes and told himself to endure, to temporarily act as a comforting cat or a rag doll.
Xie Wuchi sniffed his neck, his nose brushing past. When he started to lick, Shi Shu’s first reaction was actually: It’s finally here!
Outside the window, the rain poured down. Downstairs, the sounds of playing cards and gambling could be heard. Shi Shu didn’t dare to move, waiting as Xie Wuchi licked his earlobe inch by inch, then moved to his jaw and bit it.
The moment Shi Shu parted his lips, a soft pressure came down.
He and Xie Wuchi naturally started kissing.
“…………”
A wet, lingering, fiery kiss. Their tongues entangled, licking, inch by inch from the lips to the base of the tongue, making indistinct, muffled sounds. Kissing wildly in a fiery embrace. It was like a long-awaited sweet rain falling on cracked earth. In this intimacy, the familiar Xie Wuchi was back.
“Mmm… Ah…”
Shi Shu was a bit confused about the current situation. It was easier for him to accept that Xie Wuchi was a patient. His hands were pinned to the bed, fingers intertwined tightly, and his legs were firmly held down by knees, their legs entangled. But this position wasn’t so terrifying; Xie Wuchi could embrace him over a larger area.
Shi Shu’s eyes were wide open in the darkness. Xie Wuchi had already skillfully pried open his teeth, swallowing and licking his tongue greedily, his Adam’s apple rolling, invading every inch of space inside Shi Shu’s mouth.
Shi Shu closed his eyes. His tailbone ached from being ground against. Gay? Likes men? Has desires for men, and what was that about an urge to penetrate? What does that mean? Xie Wuchi not only likes men but is also a “1” (top)? Then what am I? The more he thought about it, the more this kiss took on a more risqué, stimulating feeling.
“…”
He wants to sleep with men, so does that mean I’m the one getting slept with?
Shi Shu felt something was not right and moved his hand. “Xie Wuchi…”
His wrist was pressed down hard. “Ah—” Shi Shu hissed in pain. Xie Wuchi was right; getting to know him was faster through physical contact. He was truly a selfish creature who only cared about his own pleasure and not whether others lived or died.
Shi Shu was kissed until his head spun, but with his remaining rationality, he analyzed, “Wait, Xie Wuchi’s problem comes in waves. After this wave, he’ll stop.”
Shi Shu let him kiss him without much resistance. That hand was rubbing his jaw, repeatedly caressing it. Slowly, this hand disappeared. Just as Shi Shu thought it was over, he saw Xie Wuchi pull back his hand, tear open his shirt, and with his back to the light, he took off all his upper body clothes, revealing his powerful, masculine upper body.
“………”
Shi Shu swallowed. A large hand grabbed his hair, controlling and fixing his face for a kiss. A “gurgle…” sound was heard. Shi Shu thought, “No, no, don’t take off your clothes! Don’t take off your clothes!” while reaching out to try and pull Xie Wuchi’s shirt back up.
But his hand was pinned down again. Xie Wuchi’s upper body pressed down, the texture of the linen cloth squeezing against his chest, forcing all the air out of his lungs.
Xie Wuchi licked the roof of his mouth. Shi Shu couldn’t breathe. Xie Wuchi kissed him like he was kissing a small cat, sucking and sucking again. Shi Shu’s mind was in a daze. He thought, “Forget it, just taking off a shirt is no big deal.”
His hand was on his chest, trying to push some distance, and at the same time, he touched Xie Wuchi’s chest. The muscles were rising and falling with his breath, hard, well-defined blocks. His body had an undeniable scorching heat that made Shi Shu’s fingertips ache.
Then, Shi Shu heard a rustling sound. The quilt was heaving, and then the entangled legs also lost their fabric.
“No, why are you taking off your pants too? What are you doing? Xie Wuchi, put your pants on!” Shi Shu scolded in a low voice and reached out to pull his pants up. When his hand was on the lower part, a pair of hot, large hands reached into his collar.
The fingertips were full of scars and calluses. When they brushed against his skin, it felt like being scraped by a desert wind, hot and rough, tearing at his clothes. In a moment, his clothes were stripped down to his forearms.
Shi Shu suddenly took a deep breath, his ears bright red. “Ah! What are you doing taking my clothes off? Xie, mmm—”
Shi Shu’s tongue was licked with desire. In the darkness, Xie Wuchi stared at him, his eyes almost completely dark. Shi Shu reached out to push him away, but his skin instantly rubbed against his. The bony, powerful shoulders, the firm chest muscles, the heat of their skin comforting each other. Shi Shu’s mind was hit by a jolt of electricity.
The heat seemed to start rising. Xie Wuchi grabbed both of Shi Shu’s wrists with one hand, holding them high above his head and pinning them down. In the darkness, Shi Shu gritted his teeth. Xie Wuchi kissed and licked his neck and ears. His other hand roamed around his waist, slowly pulling down the rough fabric of the linen clothes.
Shi Shu: “Damn it! Don’t you dare take off my pants!”
Shi Shu was really angry. He kicked him hard. His knee was immediately pinned by another knee, and even as he arched his waist, his pants were hooked and forcefully pulled down to the bend of his thighs.
Shi Shu’s nails were scraped by something. It was instantly cold under the quilt, and then he came into contact with the hair of some kind of male animal, thick and warm, pressing tightly against him.
Shi Shu’s mind was in chaos. “Damn it—”
Xie Wuchi’s hand reached into the gap, caressing the same area on Shi Shu that didn’t have a tattoo, the base of his thigh, confirming it. The entanglement under the quilt was excessively chaotic. When Shi Shu felt the heat of his palm, he was overly excited and slammed his head against the bed railing!
“Clang!” The pain made his eyes turn red. Xie Wuchi immediately let go, propped himself up with his legs, and sat up straight, holding Shi Shu’s waist. In his arms, Shi Shu was being kissed on the forehead.
The bed curtains were transparent. Xie Wuchi’s embrace left almost no gap. One hand held the back of Shi Shu’s neck and ear, and his voice was low and hoarse. “Be good, it doesn’t hurt.”
Shi Shu had never been held like this before, like a child being held by an adult to pee, except he was facing him. Shi Shu dug his fingers into Xie Wuchi’s shoulder. “Let go! I said that’s enough!”
As he spoke, Shi Shu quickly grabbed his clothes. “Put them on!” But before he could even find the sleeves and collar, Xie Wuchi’s kisses moved further down, kissing his collarbone, and then further down. His jaw brushed against a part of Shi Shu’s body that he had barely paid any attention to.
All the blood in Shi Shu’s body rushed to his head. He fiercely grabbed a handful of Xie Wuchi’s hair. All the blood in Shi Shu’s body ran cold. He panted, staring at the Xie Wuchi before him.
He pulled back his tongue, seeming to savor it. A pair of unfocused, dark eyes met Shi Shu’s.
Shi Shu’s mind chaotically cursed “Damn!”, and the outer shirt he had just put on was torn open. Shi Shu tried to jump off the bed, but his waist was imprisoned by an arm. In the next second, he was turned around, his back pressed tightly against his chest as he fell hard onto the bed, embraced in this position.
Shi Shu struggled. “Let go, let go.”
His back was rubbing against the man’s chest and abdomen. A strong arm was placed over his, embracing his chest. Fingers clasped his chin, kisses landing on the back of his neck, his cheek, and his shoulder. The other hand passed through his waist, caressing Shi Shu’s skin over a large area.
Shi Shu felt like a carpet being ironed, every inch of his skin being forcefully rubbed. The slightest resistance from his legs would be met with a firm pinning by his leg.
Xie Wuchi’s strength was too great. The muscles in his arms bulged as he tormented him. Shi Shu felt him smelling his scent, as if he had skin hunger, as if he would die if he didn’t smell him.
Shi Shu’s face was red from holding his breath, breaking out in a cold sweat. He wanted to hit him but didn’t know where. His hand grabbed the back of his hand to stop Xie Wuchi from touching the forbidden zone, but he could only follow him in his roaming, even looking like he was playing hard to get.
A fair hand on a tan back, the skin tone contrast was obvious. Fortunately, his hand did not touch the forbidden zone. Shi Shu tilted his neck back to resist the strange ripples from being caressed. His throat bobbed slightly. In the next second, his waist was hooked, and he was gently turned over, chest to chest, tightly embraced.
A more intense embrace, skin sticking together without a gap, legs entangled. Before Shi Shu was Xie Wuchi’s face. His kisses fell again.
“Hah… ah… Xie Wuchi, stop…”
Xie Wuchi’s body was very hot. He held Shi Shu’s fair back tightly with his arms, circling him in his embrace. One hand even brought Shi Shu’s leg to his waist. This kind of intimate embrace with no gaps, he seemed to love it immensely. The trembling in his throat subsided, and he pecked at Shi Shu’s lips again and again.
Skin-to-skin contact with no privacy, like they were locked in a death struggle.
Shi Shu was dizzy, bearing Xie Wuchi’s body temperature and his paranoid quirks.
After struggling for a while, he was hot all over, his strength gone. He might as well go limp in his arms and let him hold him.
Xie Wuchi had won. He had successfully gotten what he wanted. His palm lingered, caressing Shi Shu’s back, his skin.
“I’m so done… what on earth do you want to do…”
Shi Shu tilted his neck back. His youthful Adam’s apple bobbed, and Xie Wuchi turned his head to sensually lick the hollow beneath it and his collarbone. After cursing, he closed his eyes.
