Chapter 117: My Husband Has a Split Personality (21, 22, 23)

Hearing this, Ying Zhao quickly nodded and was once again embraced by Ying Youjie. The two held each other for a long time, with the young man lovingly kissing Ying Zhao’s hand and cheek. Such intense affection made Ying Zhao blush and his heart race.

However, he didn’t want to stop the affection; after all, he never resisted his lover’s closeness. Both of them enjoyed the tenderness.

When the sky began to darken and Ying Youjie thought about how much had happened today and how tired his uncle must be, he finally released his embrace and still held Ying Zhao’s hand as they went to the dining room to have dinner.

After they had eaten their fill, Ying Zhao thought that the work for the day was mostly done and could be left for tomorrow, so he intended to go back to his room to rest.

However, just as he was about to enter the bedroom, the young man beside him blocked his way. Ying Zhao looked at him in confusion and saw that Ying Youjie’s eyes had turned a deep red.

“Ming,” Ying Zhao couldn’t help but call out, and then saw the young man beside him’s eyes light up for a moment, before immediately changing to a look of grievance.

Ming squeezed into the room and into Ying Zhao’s house. After shutting the door with a wave of his hand, he promptly pulled Ying Zhao into his arms.

He kept rubbing against Ying Zhao’s neck, coquettishly saying, “Uncle, it’s not fair. Uncle hugged that guy for so long today, kissed him, and even had a meal with him. But I didn’t get anything! I’m worried, I’m sad, and I’m scared that something might happen to you! Uncle doesn’t consider my feelings at all, and doesn’t comfort me! Does Uncle not like me? Does Uncle like Xiao Jie more?”

Hearing Ming complain like a child in his ear, Ying Zhao sighed helplessly. Amused, he pinched Ming’s ear and quickly kissed his forehead to show his fairness. He deeply felt that raising a child these days is really hard.

However, Ming was still not satisfied and insisted that Ying Zhao kiss his cheek. Ying Zhao, feeling helpless, thought that since coming home, they had been hugging and kissing continuously. He might as well be grateful that Ming was tall enough not to require him to lift him up.

But thinking about Ming clinging to him and wanting to be lifted up made Ying Zhao shiver, and his expression twisted slightly. Then he heard Ming make a displeased sound because Ying Zhao was distracted.

Seeing this, Ying Zhao quickly leaned over and gave Ming a reassuring kiss. Ming, accustomed to being spoiled, claimed that a single kiss was not enough, accusing Ying Zhao of favoritism, and continued to ask for more kisses. Ying Zhao, though helpless, did not refuse.

However, when he was about to kiss again, the young man holding him deliberately turned his head slightly, so the kiss landed on the corner of his mouth. The different sensation made Ying Zhao’s heart tremble, and his face turned slightly red, but he cleared his throat and pretended not to care.

However, his blushing ears could not escape the ever-watchful gaze of Ming. Seeing Ying Zhao blushing and shy in his arms, Ming’s eyes grew even deeper, like two profound whirlpools.

Since he had already kissed the corner of Ming’s mouth, Ming believed that Ying Zhao must have felt it. But Ying Zhao said nothing, perhaps thinking that the kiss was an accident.

But Uncle blushed, and seeing the usually aloof person becoming bashful was so captivating. Could it be that Ming could narcissistically think that Ying Zhao actually had some affection for him as well?

The feelings between them were not just Ming’s unrequited love; in reality, the person in his arms also had the same affection for him.

Thus, with his emotions in turmoil, Ming continued to test and press for more. To his surprise, Ying Zhao was indeed very indulgent towards him. It turned out that as long as he acted spoiled and showed a bit of grievance, Ying Zhao would allow him to kiss and hug freely.

This made Ming’s mood even more excited. In a short time, he received countless warm embraces and sweet kisses, making him so happy that he could hardly suppress the smile at the corners of his mouth.

But then, Ming heard a dissatisfied voice in his heart, saying, “Ming, don’t be too excessive! You forcibly took control of the body. Don’t you know that doing so will also harm your own soul? And how can you keep taking advantage of Uncle like this!”

Unexpectedly, Ming immediately responded angrily, “Why is it that only you can take advantage of Uncle, and I can’t? Just now, Uncle kissed you. My benefits are all earned by myself. Don’t forget, Uncle is not just yours. It’s impossible for everything to be enjoyed only by you. I also want to be close to Uncle!”

As Ming spoke, he deliberately kissed Ying Zhao’s cheek, especially kissing the corner of his mouth to show Xiao Jie. Like a child who had snatched a candy, Ming smugly said to Xiao Jie, “You are the main personality, and you have already monopolized Uncle for so long during the day. You won’t let me get close to Uncle because you’re jealous. Admit it, Xiao Jie, haven’t you also completely realized your own feelings today?”

Xiao Jie fell silent for a moment, then gently responded with an “En.” From now on, he would no longer avoid it; Uncle belonged to them. Facing the person in front of him, he only wanted to possess him, and could not imagine sharing him with anyone else.

Seeing this stubborn idiot finally confess, Ming breathed a sigh of relief, smirking maliciously, and continued to Xiao Jie, “Idiot, when I get close to Uncle, it’s actually you getting close to Uncle too. The more time he spends with us, the more he will adapt to us. The more intimate he becomes with us, the more he will like us.”

When Ying Youjie heard Ming’s words, although Ying Youjie was unwilling to admit it, he knew that this method was beneficial for both of them. Moreover, since they were intertwined in sensation, he also felt the comfortable and soft lips pressed against his cheek.

Knowing that stopping Ming wasn’t a wise choice, Ying Youjie simply stopped speaking, closed his eyes, and enjoyed the sensations his beloved brought him.

On the other side, Ying Zhao naturally had no idea what was going on in the young man’s mind. He only felt that Ming seemed to be more persistent today than usual.

Feeling that Ming’s kisses and hugs had no end, Ying Zhao could only helplessly push him away and gently say, “Ming, it’s already very late. You should go back to your own room and rest.”

However, contrary to his usual compliance when told to go back to his room, Ming stubbornly shook his head today. With pursed lips, Ming looked at Ying Zhao and said, “Uncle, can’t we sleep together? I remember when I was little, you always held me to sleep, and you said you would protect me and that you liked me the most. Uncle, don’t you like me anymore?”

Seeing the tall and handsome young man speaking in a childlike tone and showing affection, Ying Zhao’s eyelids twitched. He couldn’t help but feel that his beloved was sometimes too shameless.

But he had to say helplessly: “So Ming wants to sleep with Uncle today? But I remember that you don’t want to sleep with Uncle since you became an adult.”

Ming shook his head vigorously when he heard Ying Zhao’s words, and said in defense: “No, that’s not me, it’s Xiao Jie! I like sleeping with Uncle the most! I will be with Uncle tonight, not just today; I will sleep with Uncle every day in the future! Uncle, you jumped into the water today and scared me, so you have to comfort me well!”

Originally, he just wanted to tease his little lover and send him back to sleep, but who knew that he felt guilty about what the other party said. Ying Zhao felt guilty because of what happened today, and nodded and agreed without waiting for the other party to say anything.

This was also within Ming’s expectations. He knew how soft-hearted Ying Zhao was to him and Xiao Jie, so he immediately hit the snake with a stick. Not only did he stay in the room, but he also pulled Ying Zhao to take a bath with him.

Not only did he want to stay and sleep in the same room with him, he even wanted to take a bath with him. Hearing that the child who had refused to take a bath with him since childhood suddenly made such a request, Ying Zhao felt that the other party was doing it on purpose.

Could it be that he really provoked the other party today? Ying Zhao suspected that his lover could not help but make things clear to him.

Although Ying Zhao did not rule out something happening with his lover, he felt a little shameless when he thought that the other party was raised by him and he had experienced the joy of raising a son when the other party was young.

But as soon as he said that he didn’t want to take a bath with the other party, Ming put on that aggrieved look of wanting to cry, leaving Ying Zhao helpless.

Xiao Jie was also shocked to see Ming throwing a tantrum and being extremely shameless in his sea of consciousness! So is this the reason why he has received less benefits than the other party for so long?

It seems that Ming also has advantages worth learning from, Xiao Jie thought seriously.

After entering the bathroom, Ying Zhao realized that he was more shy than he thought, while the young man was much more generous than himself.

The young man’s face was not red and his heart was not beating, which made Ying Zhao’s teeth itch. He simply took off his clothes quickly. While taking off his clothes, he tried to prepare himself mentally. As an old man in so many worlds, he had done everything. He must not lose to a little kid.

What Ying Zhao didn’t know was that both Ming and Xiao Jie could not control the beast in their hearts the moment they entered the bathroom and saw Ying Zhao take off his clothes. They wanted to rush forward immediately, knock down this man who made them love crazy, and love him wantonly.

However, they didn’t dare to act recklessly. They knew some things needed to be gradual and couldn’t scare Uncle, so they planned to let Ying Zhao slowly get used to them.

Xiao Jie knew he wasn’t as good as Ming in this area, so he left the control to Ming. Ming, having finished undressing, took a towel and walked over to Ying Zhao with an innocent look, hugging him and saying softly, “Uncle, let’s bathe together. Later, let’s take turns washing each other’s backs, okay?”

Ying Zhao blushed and tried to avoid Ming’s embrace, not wanting to be held under such circumstances. However, as soon as he tried to avoid Ming, he heard the young man’s low laughter.

The deep, husky voice made Ying Zhao’s ears tingle. Ming saw the redness in Ying Zhao’s ears deepen and chuckled, “Uncle, we’re both men. You have what I have, so what are you embarrassed about?”

Hearing the young man’s words, Ying Zhao tried to act calm and glanced at him. He thought to himself, “I hope that when you finally drag me to bed in the future, you can say something like that too.” Of course, these were thoughts only in his mind; in terms of thick-skinnedness, he couldn’t match his own man in any world.

Moreover, in this world, it was the first time Ying Zhao had such a sincere encounter with his lover. The young man’s physique was tall and his muscles well-defined. However, perhaps due to the fact that his body was a transformed artifact, his skin appeared unnaturally pale.

Ying Zhao couldn’t help but blush and his heart raced. Fortunately, his icy, expressionless persona prevented him from losing too much face. Determined not to be outdone by the child he had raised, he took the initiative to grab the shampoo and started washing the young man’s hair.

Ming lowered his head and kept glancing at Ying Zhao. Once his hair was washed, Ming took a nearby towel to help Ying Zhao dry his back. Given the situation, Ying Zhao naturally couldn’t refuse. However, Ming’s actions were not just about cleaning; they were tender and clearly ambiguous.

Being touched by his beloved made Ying Zhao uncontrollably react. Just as he was feeling extremely embarrassed and unsure what to do, Ming suddenly teased from behind, “Uncle’s is different from mine. It’s so cute.”

Ying Zhao’s hand, which was holding the body wash, shook violently upon hearing Ming’s words, nearly crushing the bottle. He turned around and gave Ming a fierce glare. After all, any man would feel embarrassed if another man teased that part of him as cute. Gritting his teeth, Ying Zhao said, “You’re the one who’s cute. Your whole family is cute!”

Unexpectedly, his angry words were forcibly explained by the other party. Ying Zhao felt that he no longer had the mood to complain or curse. His anger was instantly extinguished, and he quickly finished his bath at three times his usual speed, wrapping himself in a bath towel and putting on a bathrobe before swiftly opening the bathroom door.

Ignoring Ming, who was still shouting for him to help with his back, Ying Zhao directly walked out. As for Ming, who remained in the bathroom, after Ying Zhao left, his pure and aggrieved expression instantly turned into a wicked one.

He had naturally noticed Ying Zhao’s reaction and the uncontrollable embarrassment. Ming was increasingly sure that his uncle also had feelings for him. Excitedly licking his lips and taking a deep breath, he felt that there was still a charming cold fragrance of the man he loved lingering in the bathroom.

Ming chuckled, leaning against the bathroom wall, and picked up the towel Ying Zhao had used to dry off, which had been thrown on the sink. He took a deep sniff of it, feeling increasingly intoxicated. While fantasizing about the beautiful scene he had seen in the bathroom, he began to indulge himself.

The young man stayed in the bathroom for a long time, but Ying Zhao didn’t mind. After all, he had been nearly angered into a fit by Ming earlier and was now genuinely afraid of him.

Even when Ming came out of the bathroom, Ying Zhao still felt too embarrassed to look at him. However, Ming’s mood was unaffected; on the contrary, he felt great because of the day’s events in the bathroom.

He knew his uncle was always tough on the outside but soft on the inside. Although Ying Zhao ignored him after Ming came out, the bed had already been prepared with pillows and blankets.

A smile flashed in Ming’s eyes as he directly lay down on the bed without any regard for Ying Zhao’s cold expression. He immediately pounced on him, hugging his waist and coquettishly saying, “Still angry? Uncle, you were never so petty before!”

Ying Zhao rolled his eyes at this, thinking to himself that Ming hadn’t been so shameless in the past. He mumbled softly, “You weren’t as obedient and cute as when you were little.”

Unexpectedly, Ming raised his head, looked at Ying Zhao, and arched his eyebrows, “Uncle, you really think I was very obedient when I was little?”

If Xiao Jie was considered obedient, that could be accepted. But Ming, when he was young, was definitely not a worry-free child. Although he learned how to act cute in front of Ying Zhao later, he was initially a troublemaker.

He didn’t know how to control his violent emotions, so whenever Ming managed to control his body, even the slightest stimulation would cause chaos in the Ying family. He could be considered a typical naughty child.

It was surprising for Ming to be described as obedient. However, Ying Zhao genuinely thought this way; in his eyes, his child was always excellent, and all were equally well-behaved in his heart.

As for children being mischievous, every family has that. How could Ming be considered bad? Therefore, some people’s bias could indeed be extreme.

Ming continued to tease Ying Zhao for a while, then shamelessly threw his blanket off the bed, insisting on sharing the same blanket and cuddling with Ying Zhao.

Unable to drive him away, Ying Zhao had no choice but to go along with Ming’s wishes. After all, they had been together in so many worlds; this level of intimacy wasn’t much.

Watching the young man, who had forcibly pulled him into an embrace and whose breathing had become steady, Ying Zhao curled his lips into a smile. Just as he was about to close his eyes and sleep, he suddenly felt the person holding him move, and the entire atmosphere became even gentler.

Ying Zhao looked up and saw the young man’s sparkling red eyes had turned back to black. He blinked and softly called out, “Xiao Jie.”

Xiao Jie nodded, smiling as he lowered his head to kiss Ying Zhao’s forehead, just as Ying Zhao had done countless times before.

Ying Zhao was surprised by Xiao Jie’s sudden action and gently asked, “Xiao Jie, do you want to go back to your room to sleep alone?”

After waiting for a while and seeing the young man not respond, he joked, “Could it be that Xiao Jie also wants to sleep with Uncle?”

To his surprise, the young man seriously nodded and said, “Yes, Uncle. From now on, can we always sleep together?”

Seeing the seriousness in Xiao Jie’s eyes, Ying Zhao felt that the young man seemed to be asking something very important. So, he didn’t object and smiled at Xiao Jie, nodding in agreement. The young man’s eyes lit up for a moment, and he hugged Ying Zhao even tighter.

However, after only a short while of intimacy, a muffled voice came from above. “But Uncle, you’re about to marry Miss Mo, right? After you get married, we won’t be able to sleep together like this every day.”

The young man’s tone had a hint of a sob. Though his slightly fierce appearance made this vulnerable expression seem a bit strange, Ying Zhao felt only heartache.

Worried that his lover might be upset, Ying Zhao quickly reached out to stroke Xiao Jie’s soft forehead, saying gently, “No, Uncle won’t marry Miss Mo.”

Xiao Jie was immediately shocked, his eyes widening in disbelief. Trembling lips asked Ying Zhao, “Uncle, what are you saying? You’re saying you won’t marry Miss Mo?”

Seeing his lover’s stunned expression, Ying Zhao smiled and affirmed, “Yes, Uncle won’t be with Miss Mo. Uncle doesn’t love her and doesn’t want to waste her life. I’ll go to the Mo family in the next couple of days to discuss canceling the engagement.”

Hearing Ying Zhao’s words, Xiao Jie’s breathing became rapid. He stared intensely at Ying Zhao, as if afraid that what he had just heard was a dream.

It wasn’t until his face was pinched, feeling a slight pain, and seeing the smile in Ying Zhao’s eyes that the young man was finally certain that Uncle had indeed said he would cancel the engagement and wouldn’t be with anyone else.

The tension in his heart relaxed, and the young man showed a sincere smile, hugging Ying Zhao tightly and continuously murmuring, “Uncle, Uncle!”

He kept calling out, seemingly wanting to express his inner emotions but not knowing how.

Ying Zhao naturally felt his lover’s joy and gently patted his back. However, perhaps due to fatigue from the day, Ying Zhao fell asleep unconsciously.

Unbeknownst to him, both Xiao Jie and Ming beside him were so excited that they couldn’t fall asleep. They only wanted to quietly watch the man they loved until the end of time.

The two personalities inside them were still fiercely debating whether Uncle was about to be free from the engagement, and if Uncle didn’t like that woman, did it mean that he could belong to them forever?

The next morning, upon waking, Ying Zhao was greeted by the young man’s exceptionally bright smile. Looking at the young man’s dark pupils, Ying Zhao greeted Xiao Jie. After having a pleasant breakfast together, they went off to their respective tasks—one to the company and the other to school.

However, they had agreed in advance that Xiao Jie would come to the Ying Corporation for lunch after finishing his school classes, and they would have lunch together.

Since Ying Zhao had avoided Mo Yingying’s fate and prevented the transmigrator from having an opportunity, he was in a good mood. But just as he was working, he suddenly heard Xiao Bai in his sea of consciousness say, “Host, an energy fluctuation has been detected in this world due to the soul from another world.”

Ying Zhao, gripping his documents tightly, furrowed his brow and asked Xiao Bai, “Is the transmigrated soul the same Mo Yingying from before?”

Xiao Bai nodded. Seeing Ying Zhao puzzled about why he had prevented Mo Yingying from falling into the water yesterday but still encountered such an incident, Xiao Bai quickly explained, “Host, because you intervened yesterday, the real Mo Yingying (莹莹) is fine; she is still living well at the Mo family’s residence. The one who had an accident this time is another daughter of the Mo family, Mo Yingying (莺莺).”1Different Ying characters in both of their names.

Upon hearing Xiao Bai’s explanation, Ying Zhao fell into deep thought. He didn’t expect the situation to develop in this direction. It seemed that no matter what, the soul from another world would end up in this world. Or perhaps there was something behind the scenes controlling this, finding an opportunity for that soul.

According to Xiao Bai’s explanation, Mo Yingying had also accidentally fallen into the water last night. However, the location of her fall was not the lake from yesterday but rather the Mo family’s back mountain.

Although Mo Yingying shared the same surname, her status was much lower compared to the Mo family’s legitimate eldest daughter. Mo Yingying was merely the orphaned daughter of the Mo family’s head’s deceased brother.

Now, while she also lived in the Mo family’s grand residence, she was a timid and insignificant young lady. After reviewing the original host’s memories, Ying Zhao had no impression of Mo Yingying.

After understanding the situation, Ying Zhao did not plan to actively provoke this transmigrator but decided to observe quietly and see what actions she would take. He only instructed Xiao Bai to strengthen the monitoring of this otherworldly soul and report any issues promptly.

Meanwhile, “Mo Yingying” woke up screaming. She found herself in an unfamiliar environment, and everything around her made her feel disoriented.

Just as she sat up and was about to get out of bed, the door of the room suddenly opened, and a young girl who appeared to be seventeen or eighteen years old walked in.

Seeing that “Mo Yingying” had woken up, the girl immediately showed a look of surprise and excitedly said, “Miss! Miss, you’re awake! I’m going to find a doctor to come see you!”

“Mo Yingying” was momentarily stunned by the girl’s address. Turning her head to look at the mirror not far from her bed, she saw a reflection that was completely different from her original appearance.

The girl in the mirror seemed to be about seventeen or eighteen years old. Though not extremely beautiful, she was quite pretty and more charming compared to her appearance in her original world.

Without needing further explanation, “Mo Yingying” understood that she had most likely transmigrated. She didn’t expect something that only happened in novels to happen to her.

Instead of panicking like others might, “Mo Yingying” felt elated. From the girl’s address and the luxurious decoration of the room, it seemed that her current identity was quite distinguished.

Thinking this, “Mo Yingying” couldn’t help but feel pleased, thinking she must be the chosen heroine to achieve great things in this new world. After seeing the doctor, she subtly inquired about her current identity from the girl next to her.

The girl was named Xiao Lian, and though she was young and around the same age as the current body, she had worked as a maid in the Mo family for a long time, taking care of Mo Yingying’s daily needs. She had a good relationship with the original host and was a simple, unscheming girl.

So, it didn’t take long for “Mo Yingying” to learn about her current body’s status through Xiao Lian. After realizing she couldn’t extract any new information from the girl, she reluctantly waved her hand, saying she was tired and needed to rest, asking the girl to leave.

Although Xiao Lian thought the miss seemed a bit strange today, she assumed it was due to the shock from the fall and needed rest, so she obediently left the room. Leaving “Mo Yingying” alone, who pouted in dissatisfaction.

She had hoped to be a prominent young lady, but it turned out she was just a girl who had lost her parents and had to live in the Mo family’s residence. This was completely different from what “Mo Yingying” had originally imagined. Yet, no matter how dissatisfied she was, she was now in this body.

Recalling what Xiao Lian had mentioned about cultivation and soul power, she felt it sounded familiar. Upon reflection, she seemed to have read a book before, which was about a male protagonist cultivating soul power to bring glory to his family.

However, that was a male-oriented book, and the protagonist was also a man. Moreover, the protagonist’s fiancée seemed to share the same surname, Mo, and had the same name as her original self—Mo Yingying.

The transmigrator became more and more alarmed as she thought about it and quickly got up, changed clothes, and decided to go out to confirm her suspicions. Fortunately, the original host was a reserved person, so she would not attract too much attention by speaking less.

“Mo Yingying” wandered around the Mo family residence, finding it to be a truly wealthy household. Everywhere was decorated magnificently. In contrast, her previous room seemed quite basic.

After a sufficient stroll around the residence, she was informed by the passing servants that dinner was ready in the dining room. If the miss felt unwell, they could also serve the meal in her room.

“Mo Yingying” naturally chose not to eat in her room, thinking it was a good opportunity to see other members of the Mo family at the dinner table. Unexpectedly, she really saw the girl who was also named “Mo Yingying” at the table.

However, this girl was much more beautiful than her current body. She was elegant and graceful, making “Mo Yingying” very envious.

Especially when the Mo family’s elder mentioned the marriage between Mo Yingying and Ying Chengye at the dinner table, it confirmed the transmigrator’s suspicions even more.

It seemed she had indeed transmigrated into the book she had read before, and the so-called cousin in front of her was likely the protagonist of that book, the fiancée of the Ying family’s head, Ying Chengye.

Mo Yingying always had a strange feeling, as if the body of the eldest daughter of the Mo family should have belonged to her. She didn’t understand what went wrong, why she had ended up in Mo Yingying’s body, becoming an obscure cousin.

At the dinner table, the elders expressed their concern about her falling into the water. The transmigrator pretended to be shy. Since the original host was usually quiet, she didn’t reveal any clues. Seeing the family happily gathered together, “Mo Yingying” felt like an outsider sitting in the corner.

However, thinking about her control over the overall plot, she remained convinced that she was the chosen one. Regardless of her current status as a cousin, she was determined to prove herself.

While lost in thought, she heard a servant come to announce that Xu Jin, the eldest young master of the Xu family, had arrived suddenly. Old Master Mo was very pleased and immediately had someone invite Xu Jin in.

The transmigrator naturally knew Xu Jin’s name. She remembered that in the book, Xu Jin was taking over as the acting head of the Xu family due to the old master’s illness and was a promising young man.

Moreover, it seemed that Xu Jin had some unspoken feelings for his cousin, Mo Yingying. Unfortunately, Mo Yingying was completely focused on Ying Chengye, unaware of her cousin’s feelings.

At first, the transmigrator didn’t pay much attention to Xu Jin’s arrival. However, when she saw the tall, handsome Xu Jin standing in front of her, “Mo Yingying” couldn’t stop her heart from racing.

She felt that Xu Jin’s appearance was so exceptional, even more handsome than the movie stars she had seen. How could she not be moved by such a handsome man? She thought the original Mo Yingying had poor taste.

Now that she had transmigrated into this world, she couldn’t live a mundane life. With this in mind, “Mo Yingying” decided to seize the opportunity and enjoy the benefits meant for her supposed cousin.

Then she heard Xu Jin say he had some business to attend to and would be staying in the city for a while, temporarily residing in the Mo family’s residence. The transmigrator was naturally delighted and quickly smiled and invited Xu Jin to sit next to her.

Old Master Mo was somewhat surprised by Mo Yingying’s sudden enthusiasm towards Xu Jin. However, considering her age and Xu Jin’s status as a young talent, it was not surprising that she might have feelings for him. If the two got along well, he, as an elder, wouldn’t interfere.

Xu Jin politely responded and took a seat beside the transmigrator. Looking at the blushing girl next to him, he listened to her awkward attempts at conversation with polite responses, though his eyes held an inscrutable light.

A few days later, Ying Zhao learned from Xiao Bai that the transmigrator had been trying to make herself stand out in front of Xu Jin. As one of the male protagonists, Xu Jin was naturally handsome. The previous storyline had described the transmigrator as a fan of good looks, so Ying Zhao wasn’t surprised.

Xiao Bai was somewhat puzzled. In the original storyline, Xu Jin was deeply in love with Mo Yingying. However, now that the transmigrator had taken over Mo Yingying’s body and was pursuing Xu Jin, although Xu Jin hadn’t agreed yet, he was clearly maintaining an ambiguous attitude. This confused Xiao Bai.

Listening to Xiao Bai’s murmurs in his mind, Ying Zhao continued to handle his work while chatting idly, “Xiao Bai, although the storyline says Xu Jin is very fond of his cousin Mo Yingying, someone so calculating and pragmatic would hardly be deeply affectionate. As for his current ambiguous attitude towards the transmigrator, it’s probably because he sees her as having some use.”

Xiao Bai nodded, somewhat understanding. Compared to his host, he was still less adept at manipulating people’s hearts.

A few days later, Ying Zhao received an invitation to Old Master Mo’s seventieth birthday banquet. Although he hadn’t planned to attend, Old Master Mo personally called and emphasized that the event was a private one with only Mo family relatives and friends.

Unable to refuse, and seeing it as an opportunity to discuss the dissolution of his engagement with Mo Yingying, Ying Zhao agreed to attend and informed his partner.

Ying Youjie and Ming were thrilled upon hearing Ying Zhao’s words. The young man had recently completed his studies and joined the Ying Group as a vice president.

Although St. Lin Academy was reluctant to let him go and his old professor hoped he would stay for further studies, the young man and Ming were not interested in that. Their efforts in studying were only to assist their uncle.

The old professor, seeing that he really couldn’t keep the young man, could only reluctantly agree.

The day after graduation, the young man packed up his entrepreneurial venture, Yicheng Technology, and directly transferred the ownership of the company to Ying Zhao.

Facing such an enviable asset, Ying Zhao remained very calm. After all, they had been through so many worlds together, and Ying Zhao was very aware of how devoted his partner was to him.

Moreover, he naturally believed that his partner’s possessions were his own, and everything of his was also his partner’s. They were one and the same, and thus didn’t need to be separated.

Since it was a shared asset, there was no need to manage it separately. Since his partner trusted him and wanted to give Yicheng Technology to the Ying family, Ying Zhao naturally wouldn’t refuse.

In return, he also granted Ying Youjie an equivalent share of Ying Group stock. Furthermore, because Yicheng Technology had become a monopoly in the industry, it was considered the leading player in the technology sector.

Thus, the shares that the young man received from Ying Group were naturally substantial. He had effectively acquired a significant voice within Ying Group, with his shareholding second only to Ying Zhao’s.
