Chapter 7: Wants to Embrace Him
Mu Si was in his study, working.
Dozens of virtual screens floated around him, almost engulfing him.
Mu Si was unhurried. Many materialized mental tentacles extended from him, operating swiftly on the virtual screens.
He even managed to eat snacks with his free hands.
This operation left the livestream audience utterly amazed.
[Is this what mental power is? It’s too convenient!]
[Hands-free! I’m so envious, working on my homework right now.]
[Coach, I want to learn this!]
[Coach doesn’t have mental power either, boo hoo.]
So, male zergs are really suitable for text-based work.
As the Crown Prince, Mu Si had many work arrangements every day.
However, he was still recuperating, so he only had to handle some government affairs online.
All tasks requiring an outdoor appearance were transferred to his younger brother, significantly reducing his workload.
The Second Prince, who had already begun his military training, was forced to take over the Prince Consort’s original duties, flying across the star system, as busy as a top.
He had to maintain good relations with strategic partners and negotiate verbally with the hostile Tenga Empire.
As the Zergs and Tenga were in a truce, no matter how fierce the skirmish, they couldn’t truly escalate to war. The usually straightforward military female was so angered her blood pressure rose.
Mu Si was also a little puzzled.
When he was in charge of foreign affairs, he didn’t feel the Tenga Empire was so aggressive towards Zergs, and that was during wartime.
Tenga and Zergs shared a common origin, and Tenga’s power structure was dominated by females.
Facing the beautiful and refined male zerg Prince Consort, and facing a military female Prince who might be met on the battlefield in the future, of course, presented completely different attitudes.
Mu Si expressed concern for his poor brother and offered moral support.
Nothing else.
He was still recuperating from his injuries; wasn’t it reasonable not to go out and work?
Mu Si decided to take this opportunity to give himself a six-month vacation.
Zergs are oviparous; larvae develop in the female parent’s abdomen for 6 months before being born, then hatch from the shell after 4 months of incubation at room temperature.
If placed in an incubator, the hatching time could be brought forward.
The Zerg egg in Ax’s abdomen stopped developing at three months and fell into a deep sleep.
Mu Si had consulted a doctor.
If the Zerg egg could not resume growth within a month, it would be declared dead.
Declaring the Zerg egg’s death.
It was also declaring his and Ax’s death.
If the Zerg egg was gone, Ax would kill him.
If he died, Ax would also have to be buried with him.
Was this not a form of martyrdom for love?
[Scumbag Value -1]
[Current Scumbag Value: 75]
Mu Si saw the prompt that his scumbag value had decreased but didn’t pay too much attention.
Nourishing the Zerg egg and providing nutritional meals for the pregnant female were long-term tasks. At each stage, his scumbag value would decrease a little.
These days, it had already reduced by 3 points.
Mu Si collected his thoughts and focused on the work that had accumulated during this period.
After finishing work and putting away all the virtual screens, Mu Si found that the sky had completely darkened.
Looking at the time displayed on his terminal, it was already late night.
Usually, by this time, he would have already given Ax a round of pheromones.
Mu Si hastily got up and went downstairs, contacting the butler to inquire about Ax’s situation.
He received the reply that the female consort hadn’t left the room all day and hadn’t inquired about his whereabouts.
Mu Si’s steps slowed.
Ax had been acting strangely these past few days.
Mu Si had noticed but didn’t understand why.
Before, Ax would even entice him for the Zerg egg, actively inviting him over at night, afraid he would forget to give pheromones.
Now, Ax would still ask for pheromones from him, but wouldn’t invite him as actively.
Even when making an effort to obtain pheromones, he would avoid Mu Si’s eyes, unwilling to look at his face.
And today, he was late, yet Ax could endure not looking for him?
This was very abnormal.
As he pondered, Mu Si arrived at the familiar room door and pushed it open directly.
He saw the female zergs standing by the sofa he usually sat on, her eyes somewhat empty, lost in thought.
“Oh, still awake. I thought the General had forgotten about the Zerg egg and pheromones and had gone to bed early,” Mu Si scoffed.
Ax heard the sound and snapped back to reality, turning to see Mu Si at the door. He paused, then slowly walked forward to greet him.
“Your Highness.”
Ax walked in front of Mu Si and expertly knelt, bowing his head in submission.
Mu Si could only see the top of his head.
He was a little impatient and kicked the female zerg’s knee with his foot, signaling him to get up.
The female zerg remained motionless, letting him kick.
“…”
Likes to kneel, huh?
Refuses to look at him, huh?
Mu Si tilted his head and glanced at the empty corridor next to them, suddenly deciding not to enter the room.
“Serve me right here.”
Mu Si stood at the doorway, half his body inside the room, half exposed in the corridor.
Ax stiffly looked up, also seeing the empty, brightly lit corridor outside.
He had never had relations with the Prince Consort outside.
Even that chaotic first time was in a closed aircraft.
From the Prince Consort’s cold voice, Ax knew that the Prince Consort was serious.
He really intended for him to serve him right here.
Mu Si enjoyed the female zerg’s struggle.
He knew that the attendants and guards only moved on the ground floor, and no other zergs would come to the basement level, but Ax didn’t know that.
The female zerg’s five senses were suppressed by the inhibitor, preventing him from knowing if any insect was approaching, so he would remain fearful and uneasy.
Such an Ax was far more interesting than the female zerg who had just been facing him with only the top of his head.
“Your Highness…”
Ax’s voice trembled, and he instinctively grabbed the corner of the Prince Consort’s clothes, hoping to gain a bit of pity.
When he realized his thought, his face paled again, and he stiffly put down his hand.
Mu Si tilted his head, puzzled, and looked at him.
It hadn’t even started yet; was there a need to be so scared?
His face was pale.
The little bit of color he had regained from the nutritional meals was gone.
However, he wouldn’t stop tormenting the female zergs just because he pitied him.
“If you want pheromones, come and get them yourself. Oh, right, use your mouth. It’s a good chance to check your learning progress.”
Mu Si’s lips curved into a smug smile, waiting for the female zerg’s reaction.
The female zerg had been somewhat dazed since letting go of his clothes.
Hearing his words, he merely shifted his gaze upwards sluggishly.
Mu Si didn’t rush him, quietly waiting for him to begin.
He knew Ax would choose to obey.
The Zerg egg needed pheromones; the female zerg couldn’t possibly give up the pheromones offered to his mouth.
Sure enough, under his gaze, the female zerg unpursed his lips, as if making a decision, leaned closer, and opened his mouth to bite his button.
Mu Si leaned back, resting against the doorframe, his head swimming.
One hand propped against the door behind him, the other plunged into the female zerg’s hair, tightly gripping his head.
Damn, he was careless.
He hadn’t expected Ax kneeling before him to be such a huge stimulant.
They had already had more intimate contact, but when he looked down and saw Ax’s bulging cheeks, his mind went blank from the impact.
He didn’t know how long it had been, but the rich scent of flowers and fruits mixed with the coldness of ice and snow, blending into a chilling sweet fragrance like ice cream cake or chilled fruit wine.
“Cough—”
Ax choked on the pheromones and pulled back to cough dryly.
Even while coughing, his lips were tightly pursed, not wasting a single precious wisp of pheromone.
Mu Si covered his eyes with his arm, leaning against the door to steady his breathing; his mind was still fuzzy.
Ax cleared away all the pheromones, then looked up at the Prince Consort’s appearance, momentarily stunned.
This was the first time he had seen the Prince Consort after he had released pheromones.
The previous times, he was either facing away from the Prince Consort.
Or, his body had been empty for too long to bear an excessive amount of pheromones, and he had passed out from the impact.
When he woke up, the Prince Consort had long since left.
Only the lingering pheromones on him proved that the chaotic entanglement in his memory was not a dream.
He never knew that the Prince Consort could be so… enchanting and alluring.
The Prince Consort was also handsome on ordinary days, but it was a haughty and noble kind of handsomeness.
Full of distance, and covered in thorns that would pierce any approaching zerg until they bled profusely.
Now, the Prince Consort’s luxurious clothes were slightly disheveled, his lips crimson, his cheeks flushed, and those eyes, always filled with malice, were covered, giving one a feeling of exquisite docility, cuteness, and pity.
Making one want to embrace him.
Ax raised his hand.
Just as his fingertips were about to touch the Prince Consort’s clothes, they slightly curved back.
He knew the Prince Consort’s true nature all too well, didn’t he?
There was never anything docile or pitiful about him.
He was a thorn with blood-red roses, not only piercing approaching zergs until they bled profusely but also actively capturing, entwining, and strangling them.
Ax lowered his gaze, his eyes falling on the metal floor of the corridor, his gaze shifting slightly.
He spoke in a hoarse voice: “Your Highness… would you like to come in and rest?”
After all, they were at the doorway, next to the cold, bright corridor. The Prince Consort was disheveled now; if he were to be accidentally seen…
Ax didn’t consider himself.
It was clearly painful and exceptionally agonizing when the Prince Consort troubled him.
But as soon as it ended, and he saw the Prince Consort, who had reined in his malice, he forgot all that pain.
Ax didn’t know why this happened.
Just as he didn’t know why he hesitated back in the aircraft, when he clearly had a chance to kill the male zerg who had violated him.
Leading to the male zerg cutting off his wings, resulting in his current predicament.
Even having fallen to this state, he still needed the male zerg to constantly appear before him, reminding him to hate him with blatant malice and torment, only then did he remember to hate him.
How… tragic.
Mu Si heard Ax asking him to come in and rest, and wondered if he had misheard.
He moved his arm from his eyes and looked down into the female zerg’s pained and bewildered eyes.
He understood the pain.
But what was with the bewilderment?
“Are you inviting me in?”
Mu Si casually straightened his clothes and asked curiously.
Seeing him dressed, Ax averted his gaze, lowered his head, and remained silent.
Oh, a cold, hard, boring female zerg.
Mu Si assessed in his mind.
But his mouth was hot.
Thinking of the overly suggestive content, Mu Si’s gaze drifted slightly.
He was indeed served very comfortably, and the female zerg had invited him in proactively…
Mu Si was in a rare good mood and decided not to mind the female zerg’s current cold and boring demeanor.
He stepped into the room and closed the door casually.
“Since you’re so reluctant to see me go, I’ll reluctantly stay tonight.”
Besides, this was originally his room; there was nothing wrong with him staying overnight.
Why should the female zerg comfortably sleep in his room?
And he had to walk through the cold corridor late at night, go upstairs, and find another room to sleep in?
The more Mu Si thought about it, the more indignant and wronged he felt.
He resolved to get his money’s worth and make up for all the sleep he’d missed recently.
He walked past the female zerg and entered the bathroom to wash up.
By the time Ax reacted, the sound of running water was already coming from the bathroom.
The Prince Consort said… he was staying tonight.
Ax froze in place, at a loss.
Logically, the Prince Consort staying over was beneficial to him; it meant he had more opportunities to obtain pheromones, so he should be happy.
But…
