[Scumbag Points -1]
[Current Scumbag Points: 78]
Upon hearing Ax’s remark that the Prince’s food tasted good, and seeing the notification that his Scumbag Points had decreased, the live stream audience couldn’t help but question themselves.
[Did we misunderstand the streamer?]
[Maybe common Zerg food looks like this dark cuisine, and female Zerg just like eating this stuff.]
[And it’s a pregnant female Zerg, it’s normal for tastes to become weird during pregnancy.]
[Oh right, my colleague liked to eat kimchi wrapped in cheese when she was pregnant.]
[Not as weird as me, I really wanted to eat toothpaste and soap, and hair, back then.]
[I just suddenly loved chewing gum and then ate over a hundred boxes…]
The audience cited examples, convincing each other. Finally, they unanimously agreed that since Ax liked the colorful mush, then it was perfectly fine for the Prince to arrange such a pregnant female Zerg meal for him. They were also very happy that the Prince had finally returned to the right path and started to seriously reform.
Mu Si: “…”
Ah, no, what’s wrong with all of you?
When Ax ate that kind of food without changing his expression, and even praised it as delicious, Mu Si lost interest in tormenting the female Zerg with food. He waved his hand dismissively, deeply bored, and told Ax to leave.
Ax came before him, bowed, and excused himself. This time, he leaned in closer, and his forward tilt was greater. His collar dipped low, and the scene beneath his clothes directly met Mu Si’s eyes.
“?!?!”
Mu Si suspected Ax was deliberately enticing him. His eyes blinked rapidly, unsure whether to look away. It was daytime now, in a brightly lit dining room, with attendants and imperial guards around… Although Ax had also lowered his proud head for pheromones last night, desperately trying to please him, that was a private occasion with just the two of them. Given Ax’s nature, how could he possibly do something so enticing in plain sight?
Mu Si was surprised and uncertain. For a moment, he didn’t know whether to suspect the female Zerg was problematic or if he was just overthinking it.
Then, the corner of his clothes was gently tugged by the female Zerg. Mu Si looked up in a daze, his gaze shifting from the beautiful scenery beneath the collar to meet Ax’s eyes.
Ax’s eyes flickered with a hint of evasion, but quickly became resolute again. It was as if he had found some belief, willing to give everything and sacrifice anything for it. He maintained his bowing posture, looking at Mu Si with clear, emerald green eyes, and invited in a low voice: “Your Highness, can you come tonight?”
The Imperial Guard captain, who was originally worried about Ax harming the Prince and wanted to intervene: “…” He silently averted his gaze and looked down at the floor. Ah, this floor was truly a floor.
Such words were tantamount to a direct invitation for intimacy. Mu Si inhaled sharply at Ax’s words. Abandoning his dignity in front of other Zerg and actively inviting him… for Ax, this was definitely an extremely painful and embarrassing thing. That was truly… wonderful!
Mu Si pursed his slightly uplifted lips. When Ax was in pain, he was happy. What was wrong with him? He was just building his happiness on Ax’s suffering.
“Since you have sincerely invited me, I will reluctantly make the trip tonight.” Mu Si said with a composed expression, as if bestowing a favor.
“Thank you, Your Highness.” Ax breathed a sigh of relief. He released the corner of the clothes he was pinching, straightened up, and prepared to leave.
But he was stopped. The Prince grabbed his collar, forcing him to lean forward again. Then… a light, pheromone-laden kiss landed on his lips.
“Wash up and wait for me.”
“Yes…” Ax was somewhat dazed by the faint pheromones. He even forgot to breathe, forgot their surroundings; all his attention was focused on the male Zerg in front of him.
“Clean your mouth too. I don’t want to taste that nutritious meal.”
“…Yes.”
Mu Si hummed contentedly, then released the female Zerg’s collar, pushing him back as if in disgust. “You may leave.”
Ax stood still, trying to shift his gaze from the male Zerg, lowering his eyes to compose himself and steady his breathing, then turned and left.
After the female Zerg left, Mu Si reopened the virtual menu and selected a dozen pregnant female Zerg nutritious meals that met his aesthetic standards. He instructed, “From now on, General Ax’s nutritious meals should follow this, serve them to him in rotation.”
The butler noted it down and bowed, asking, “Your Highness, should we inform the Zerg Emperor and the Marshal about the empress consort’s pregnancy?”
Mu Si noticed the butler’s change in address for Ax to “empress consort.” He gave the butler a deep look and said, “I have my own arrangements for this. It’s still uncertain if the Zerg egg can be saved, so let’s not disturb Father Emperor and Father Marshal for this.”
“Yes,” the butler replied.
Mu Si wiped his hands with a napkin, stood up, and before leaving, said to the Imperial Guard captain by the table, “Colonel Lyle, it touches me deeply that you don’t forget my safety even on holiday. I’ll add another week to your holiday as compensation.”
The Imperial Guard captain’s face contorted in a bitter expression, daring not to refuse. His Royal Highness disliked Zerg acting on their own initiative and disrupting original arrangements. If he dared to say a week’s holiday was too long, he could be on permanent leave.
Forced into an extra week of holiday, the Imperial Guard captain went to the deputy captain to hand over duties. He instructed the deputy captain to protect the Prince in his absence.
“You can rest assured and go on your holiday,” the deputy captain waved his hand. “I did lose to Ax in the military competition back then. But now he’s wearing two top-tier inhibitor rings; any military female Zerg can easily subdue him.” As he spoke, a hint of sympathy entered the deputy captain’s expression. He knew Ax had a history of harming the Prince, was an absolute danger, and was an object of their vigilance. But seeing the once sharp, bravely leading military general reduced to this state still brought a touch of melancholy.
The Imperial Guard captain originally also wanted to feel melancholy. But thinking of the Prince’s address for Ax, he felt that he should be the one to be pitied.
The Prince still addressed him as “General Ax.”
Ax had long been suspended from the military.
The matter of Ax harming the Prince was suppressed.
Besides the Zerg Emperor, the Marshal, and the Zerg in the Prince’s Mansion, no Zerg knew about it. The outside world didn’t know the reason for Ax’s suspension. However, the Imperial Guards by the Prince’s side knew. Precisely because they understood the inside story, they were even clearer that Ax’s fate was destined to be tragic. Although Ax had not yet been stripped of his military rank or discharged from the military, they all knew that Ax could never return to the military.
Before today, the Imperial Guard captain had always thought this.
But now, he was somewhat uncertain.
Mu Si sat on a white leather sofa, watching the sub-female doctor manipulate instruments, then various red or blue lights swept over him. He felt like some kind of dangerous individual who needed to be thoroughly scanned and tested.
“I feel much better. I don’t need to go into the medical pod anymore, and there’s no need to take medicine either,” Mu Si said, propping his chin.
“Your Highness’s injuries have indeed recovered, but your body still needs recuperation,” the sub-female doctor said seriously.
“Alright, but let me tell you, I won’t be drinking those terribly bitter medicinal liquids anymore.”
“No need to drink medicine, Your Highness. You just need to eat on time and avoid strenuous exercise,” the sub-female doctor emphasized the last few words.
“Cannot engage in strenuous exercise?” Mu Si blinked, looking a little troubled. “But I still have a Zerg egg to nurture.” That Zerg egg had a female parent who could kill a Zerg. He wouldn’t dare let the Zerg egg starve.
The sub-female doctor also began to worry. He had told the Prince that ten times the pheromone nourishment was needed. But he hadn’t expected the Prince to disregard his own body so much.
“Can General Ax not share your burden?” the doctor frowned and asked.
“Ah? Ax… Oh!” Mu Si’s mouth formed an O shape, and he excitedly punched his fist into his hand, saying, “I understand. It’s time for the General to share my burden!”
With that, Mu Si rose lightly, bade farewell to the doctor, and left with brisk steps.
The sub-female doctor was perplexed. What exactly did he understand?
Every inhibitor comes with built-in GPS. Mu Si opened his terminal and immediately found Ax’s location. He was still on the first basement level, in that familiar room.
“He really did take my room as his own,” Mu Si wondered whether to be angry. His little nest had been occupied by Ax. Although the room was small and cramped, he had lived there for several years, and it contained many of his larval stage belongings. It was quite annoying to have it inexplicably occupied by a female Zerg, especially since he had forgotten to arrange a room for Ax and had only taken him to his little nest. But how could he be at fault? It must be Ax’s problem.
Mu Si pondered whether to kick the female Zerg out and make him change rooms. But Ax needed his pheromones, and he didn’t want to sleep in unfamiliar rooms every day. Forget it, let’s just maintain the status quo.
Mu Si arrived at the room door. He was the Prince, and the master of this room. There was no need to knock when entering his own room. Mu Si simply pushed the door open and entered.
The female Zerg sat cross-legged on his bed, wearing only a thin set of pajamas, staring blankly at a black object on his lap. Mu Si recognized it at a glance. It was his plush doll. A spider-shaped plush toy, covered in black short fur, very suitable for hugging. It was a very popular larval toy over ten years ago. It was outdated now. But Mu Si had kept it.
Seeing Mu Si, Ax was visibly startled. The inhibitors suppressed his five senses. Otherwise, with an S-class female Zerg’s perception, he would have known the moment the Prince entered the basement level. Ax immediately got up from the bed. As he greeted Mu Si, he stealthily placed the spider plushie onto the nearby sofa. If Mu Si’s mental power wasn’t better than his eyes, he wouldn’t have even noticed his movement.
“Trying to cover it up,” Mu Si evaluated in his mind. “Do you think I won’t notice you playing with my toy just because you put it back?”
Ax knelt beside the Prince’s leg, softly calling out, “Your Highness.” He remembered the Prince liked him to kneel.
The Prince, however, walked directly past him towards the sofa. Ax paused slightly, maintaining his kneeling posture as he turned around, only to see the Prince pick up the spider plushie, sit on the sofa, lean back, and completely sink into the couch. This was the first time he had seen the Prince in this state. The Prince usually maintained a noble and elegant demeanor, even when tormenting him… but only outside the bed. Now, the Prince was holding a larval plushie, lazily curled up on the sofa, shedding his noble and distant demeanor, looking relaxed and much more approachable.
The Prince seemed to be in a good mood. This was a good thing. When a male Zerg was in a good mood, he was always more willing to bestow some pheromones. Ax tentatively moved forward on his knees. The moment he moved, the Prince frowned and looked over.
“Get up.” Mu Si was a little displeased. He liked Ax kneeling on the bed, and could accept him kneeling on the floor. But that didn’t mean he could accept the female Zerg crawling on the floor. Walking on his knees was crawling, wasn’t it? It wasn’t like he had no legs or feet. Mu Si stroked the plushie in his arms, just to keep his mood from getting worse.
Ax obeyed and stood up. He didn’t understand what had angered the Prince. He could only attribute it to the male Zerg’s unpredictable moods, and resolved to be even more cautious.
Mu Si scanned Ax from head to toe. The female Zerg looked much better standing up, but something still felt particularly awkward. He always felt… something was missing. Was it that the clothes were too thin?
The higher the rank of a Zerg, the relatively higher their attractiveness. As an S-class military female Zerg, Ax’s looks and figure were top-tier; he wouldn’t look bad in anything. Although the thin pajamas looked quite good. Mu Si had also seen Ax in just a bath towel and completely naked. But he was still more used to Ax in his other appearance.
“Change into something else, something more substantial, like… a military uniform,” Mu Si said, pondering.
Ax’s expression subtly changed, and a hint of embarrassment flickered in his eyes. As soon as he was forcibly matched by the Prince and imprisoned in the punishment chamber, he understood his future. He could never return to the military. All his past glory had left him. He could only be tormented to death in the dark underground, in the cold punishment chamber, by the Prince. He had long accepted this fate.
Although he was a general, he had no background, having only been promoted based on military merits. The Prince, however, was the eldest son of His Majesty the Emperor, bestowed with the title “Morning Star Prince” before adulthood, the first in line to the throne, the Imperial Heir. Marshal Shi An, who promoted Ax, was the Prince’s female parent. With such a vast difference in status, no Zerg would care about the details of the incident. Even if all the evidence was complete and a trial was held, he would be the only one to be stripped of his military rank and imprisoned for life. Moreover, the Prince had also used his authority to forcibly match him, giving him the identity of a male master, so the Prince could not possibly receive any punishment.
Ax had long accepted his fate. Every day in the punishment chamber, he waited for death to come. The arrival of the Zerg egg was an accident. For the sake of the Zerg egg, he could give up everything, put his dignity on the ground, and let the Prince trample and tease him. But there were always some things that could not be desecrated.
Ax pursed his pale lips, resisting the Prince’s order for the first time. “The clothes the butler sent don’t include a military uniform.” After saying that, he knelt straight down, waiting for the Prince’s punishment.
Mu Si was startled by Ax’s sudden movement. He moved the finger that had been resting on his spatial bracelet and blinked in confusion. Kneeling so heavily, did he want to smash through his floor with his knees? Luckily, he had laid down a carpet. Mu Si hummed lightly, displeased, and said, “If there isn’t any, then forget it for now. I don’t really want to see you in a military uniform anyway, it’s not that good-looking.” A stiff female Zerg. Even if he wore a military uniform, he’d just become a stiff military female Zerg. There was no difference at all.
Ax didn’t expect to be let off so easily. He suspected the Prince had even more tormenting methods waiting for him. Sure enough, he then heard the Prince say, “The doctor said I can’t do strenuous exercise. What should I do about that?”
Ax’s eyes suddenly lifted. He saw the Prince holding the spider plushie, chin slightly tilted, looking at him leisurely. “If the General wants pheromones, he’ll just have to come and get them himself. For the Zerg egg, it’s only right for the General to work a little harder, isn’t it?”
