SGT CH119: Completely Belonging to Each Other
◎ Their world contained only each other; they completely belonged to each other, and no one could separate them. ◎
Being bound by limbs with mutant plants, tied to the bed, and bullied by Mousse for a lifetime.
Such a future was truly…
So beautiful that Aix suspected it was a trap.
Aix looked forward to such a future, yet dared not actually put it into action.
Mousse was obviously furious about him leaving without saying goodbye.
He didn’t want to make Mousse unhappy.
Moreover, looking at how Mousse had devoured his food earlier, he probably hadn’t eaten properly for over a month.
It made Aix’s heart ache terribly.
And made him even more dissatisfied with that zombie.
Not as strong as him, couldn’t even cook well—what was the use of him?
According to Aix’s observation, that zombie’s ability was purely physical enhancement, with no other capabilities.
He didn’t even wear gloves or a mask.
If he infected Mousse…
In the RV, that zombie had wanted to touch Mousse directly with his dirty hands; if he hadn’t stopped him…
The more Aix thought about it, the more he felt that zombie deserved to die.
If that zombie hadn’t left the city overnight, Aix feared he wouldn’t have been able to suppress his killing intent and would have gone to kill him.
In a month, that zombie would return…
“What does living together mean?”
Aix couldn’t help asking.
He gazed at Mousse’s slender fingers clasping his wrist, his eyes flickering as he asked in a low voice:
“A month later, will we be together too?”
Mousse rested his chin on top of Aix’s head, tilting his head in confusion at the question.
He didn’t quite understand why Aix emphasized the “one month” time point.
But he still answered:
“Of course. Not just a month later. Two months later, next summer, next winter—we will spend them all together.”
Mousse wasn’t used to saying words like “forever,” “lifelong,” or “a lifetime.”
That was too far away.
Far beyond the time he could perceive and the future he could determine.
He could only say, next summer, next winter, we will spend them together too.
In the hot summer, he and Aix would stay in a cool building together, going nowhere.
Unrestrainedly growing mutant plants would hang down in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, blocking the scorching sun, while they did intimate things inside.
In winter, they could go out to step on the snow together, building two snowmen representing them by the roadside.
When cold, they would return inside, burrow back under the covers, and let Aix use his ability to raise his body temperature, enveloping and accommodating him.
Just thinking about it felt wonderful.
Their world contained only each other.
They completely belonged to each other.
No one could separate them.
Mousse couldn’t help hooking his arms around Aix’s neck, sitting on his lap, leaning in to kiss him.
Aix responded emotionally, yet the emotions flowing around him couldn’t hide the bitterness.
Mousse pulled back in confusion, observing Aix’s expression.
Aix was always accustomed to hiding his emotions.
Only when he lost his self-awareness and reason would he reveal all emotions on his face and in his roars.
Although Aix at that time was irritable and looked fierce, he was very easy to understand and easy to coax.
The one in front of him was hard to understand and hard to coax.
Fortunately, Mousse had a mental ability and could clearly perceive his emotions, not being fooled by Aix’s expressionless face.
“Why so sad? Do you not want to be with me?”
Mousse asked.
Aix stared fixedly at the person on him.
Desiring him so much his heart ached.
How could he not want to be with him?
It was just…
Aix lowered his eyes deeply, avoiding Mousse’s gaze, and said in a deep voice:
“Sorry, I’m too greedy.”
When he first regained self-awareness, he only thought about staying by Mousse’s side for as long as possible.
Even knowing Mousse had a zombie beside him whose relationship surpassed camaraderie, he masochistically wanted to be close, like having an affair, stealing moments of warmth.
But when Mousse allowed him to stay, he couldn’t help wanting more.
Wanting to be the only one by Mousse’s side, wanting to monopolize Mousse, wanting forever.
Desire is hard to fill, insatiable greed.
Aix closed his eyes heavily, daring not face Mousse’s gaze.
“Greedy?”
Longing for something you cannot obtain is called greedy.
Mousse pondered and asked:
“What else do you want? Your teammates?”
Once, Mousse cared very much about Aix’s ability user teammates.
But now it was different; he also had an ability and could fight alongside Aix.
He could also stand by Aix’s side.
If Aix wanted to go back…
Mousse frowned in thought, unsure if he should agree.
Zombies and humans were different after all.
A zombie among people was an unsettling danger factor.
Similarly, ability users might unite to hunt zombies.
Even with his mental grooming stabilizing Aix’s consciousness, he couldn’t guarantee absolute safety.
“No…”
Aix had long forgotten about the human base and his former teammates.
After becoming a zombie, many of his memories and emotions were gradually blurring and fading.
Only everything about Mousse remained vivid.
Previously, Aix always thought it was the effect of the mental ability.
It was the crystal nucleus Mousse left inside him that made him clearly remember everything about Mousse.
But when he took out the crystal nucleus, returned it to Mousse, and left alone.
When all his memories blurred, his consciousness became chaotic, and he didn’t even remember who he was.
He still hadn’t forgotten loving Mousse.
Even if his consciousness forgot, his body still loved Mousse.
All his desires were only related to Mousse.
“I want you.”
Aix finally spoke the desire in his heart.
He hugged Mousse, tightening his arms, restricting him firmly in his embrace, his voice low and rapid.
“I want you, to monopolize you. I can’t share even a tiny bit with others, especially zombies. If that zombie comes back… I will kill him.”
He simply couldn’t accept Mousse being with anyone else; just the thought made him go mad.
Mousse could do anything to him, but he couldn’t make him watch helplessly as Mousse was with another zombie, and force him to live with that zombie.
Some words, once spoken, leave no room for retreat.
Aix felt cold all over, yet bit his lip hard, refusing to let go of the person in his arms.
“Even if you detest me, despise me, I won’t leave. If you really can’t accept it… just let the mutant plants tie me up.
“I won’t break free, I only beg you to occasionally look at me… It’s fine if you don’t come look, I will keep waiting.”
Waiting until the end of life.
The death of a zombie should be turning into a pitch-black skeleton, completely annihilated under the effect of time.
Mousse’s eyes widened in astonishment, looking bewildered.
No, wait, how did the topic veer off to this?
Why suddenly killing zombies?
While sorting out his thoughts, Mousse hurriedly said:
“Can’t kill him.”
As long as there was self-awareness, he couldn’t be killed like a pure zombie.
He counted as half a person, at least.
Aix closed his eyes in despair.
He had already seen his future.
Mousse chose that zombie; he had no chance anymore.
“Tie me up then.”
Aix’s voice was dead silent.
“As long as you keep me tied, I won’t move, won’t go anywhere. However, don’t bring him in front of me. I’m afraid I won’t be able to stop myself from attacking. If I kill him, you will hate me, right…”
Would he hate him?
Mousse actually pondered for a moment.
While that zombie was alive, as long as he had self-awareness, to Mousse, he counted as half a person and enjoyed some human rights.
But if that zombie died at Aix’s hands…
What was he saying? What half a person? A dead one was clearly just a zombie.
What human rights do zombies have?
Bury him.
But such words weren’t suitable to say in front of Aix.
“Why do you always think about killing him?”
Although puzzled, Mousse still considered Aix’s feelings.
“Since you don’t like him appearing in front of you, then I won’t let him come. I’ll go out of the city to do it for him.”
Aix suddenly looked up, scarlet eyes staring dead at Mousse, almost manic.
“No! He is a zombie. He, he doesn’t even have the ability to isolate body fluids; you will be infected.”
“Mental grooming… should… have nothing to do with body fluids or infection, right?”
Mousse asked hesitantly, “Are you worried about droplet transmission?”
Mm… thinking about it, it was indeed a bit disgusting and dangerous.
“Then I’ll keep a distance of one hundred meters from him next time I do mental grooming.”
That distance was far enough, right?
Anyway, spiritual power could reach.
Just that the precision might be a bit lower, requiring a longer grooming time.
Aix and Mousse looked into each other’s eyes. From the other’s pure and unreserved eyes, he saw all his thoughts.
Aix vaguely realized something and asked carefully, probing:
“You don’t intend to be… intimate with him?”
“Huh?”
Mousse stared at him blankly. In an instant, he connected with Aix’s train of thought and finally understood what Aix had been painfully entangled with all along.
Angry, he stood up abruptly and slapped Aix on the head.
“What on earth are you thinking? Eating what groundless jealousy? That’s just a zombie!”
Aix was also a zombie.
Mousse choked.
He subconsciously distinguished Aix from other zombies.
Aix, to him, was always different.
Whether human, ability user, or zombie, the essence was just Aix.
Other zombies were incomparable to Aix.
“Anyway, you speculating about me with such malice, doubting me, distrusting me—I am very angry!”
Mousse was so angry his breathing wasn’t smooth; he really wanted to beat Aix up.
But with Aix’s sturdy and tough body, if he didn’t use his ability, no matter how he beat Aix, the other party wouldn’t feel pain or itch.
But if he used his mental ability…
He was afraid of making Aix’s already not-so-good brain even worse.
A breath was stuck in his chest, going neither up nor down.
Mousse looked around, saw the mutant plants climbing on the wall, thought of something, and dragged Aix toward the room.
“Want to be tied up by me, right? I’ll satisfy you!”
Mousse pushed Aix heavily onto the bed, activated his mental ability to control the mutant plants, and bound Aix’s four limbs.
Aix only came back to his senses then, but dared not resist at all, allowing the mutant plants to fix and pull his limbs in different directions.
He only turned his head hurriedly to look at Mousse, wanting confirmation with both surprise and joy.
“Si Si, do you really not like that zombie? It’s not a relationship beyond companionship?”
“Where did this slander come from again?!”
Mousse almost spat blood in anger.
“I’ve only known that zombie for three days, don’t even know his name. Doesn’t count as a companion at all!”
Aix was delighted that Mousse had no relationship with that zombie.
But he also knew he was in the wrong, his voice getting lower and lower.
“You said before… you agreed he would come back to find you in a month.”
“Find me for mental grooming, otherwise what?”
Mousse grabbed a mutant vine extending over, smoothed its leaves forcefully, and glared viciously at Aix.
Looking like he really wanted to whip Aix.
“After finishing mental grooming, chase him away, right? Only the two of us will be together forever.”
Aix saw the vine in Mousse’s hand but wasn’t afraid; instead, he looked forward to Mousse’s answer even more.
Mousse simply couldn’t deal with him.
What exactly had Aix imagined?
He walked forward, stroked Aix’s hair, and said:
“Of course, only us. I said it, I belong to you, only to you. You also only belong to me, right?”
“I only belong to you.”
Aix tilted his neck up, placing his vitals in Mousse’s hands, speaking as if making an offering.
They completely belonged to each other.
The corners of Mousse’s mouth lifted in a smile. He rubbed his face to barely suppress it, trying hard to put on a stern expression, and said:
“Acting coquettish now is too late. You must accept punishment.”
“Okay.”
Aix gazed at him gently, both expectant and indulgent.
“We have a very, very long time. You can punish me slowly, punish me for a lifetime.”
