Chapter 50: All My Money Is Yours (School Supernatural) (3,4)

So, back at the campus, Lan Lili became even more attentive to Lei Che. It can be said that Lan Lili’s relationship with Lei Che was entirely planned step by step by herself.

However, the plot did say that Lei Che was naturally cold in personality. In the actual storyline, he wasn’t very interested in the female lead.

But this only fueled Lan Lili’s competitive spirit, and she used various means to attract Lei Che’s attention. Later, the real kidnapping targeted not the female lead but Lei Che.

On the surface, it seemed that Lei Che, despite finding many major websites’ vulnerabilities and maintaining network security, had offended many hackers.

A few of these crazy hackers harbored a grudge and planned to take revenge on Lei Che. Lan Lili seized this opportunity and, disregarding her own safety, saved the male lead, leading them to experience life-threatening situations together and eventually having a successful happy ending (HE).

But in reality, with a God’s-eye view of the plot, Ying Zhao knew that the so-called kidnapping was actually a show orchestrated by the female lead.

The female lead, dissatisfied with Lei Che’s coldness towards her, hired people pretending to be hackers Lei Che had dealt with to kidnap Lei Che. She planned to rescue him herself to gain his favor.

Unfortunately, in her haste to achieve her goal, she harmed innocent people. The hired kidnappers used real guns for authenticity.

In their panic, one of the guns accidentally fired, hitting Ying Hanyu, a temporary school doctor who had come to help. Thus, this young doctor became a victim of a fake kidnapping.

In this world, Ying Zhao’s identity was the unlucky doctor who was accidentally shot.

The original Ying Hanyu was only twenty-four years old this year. In fact, he majored in psychology, not the actual school doctor of Shenglin Academy.

Since schools in the current world greatly emphasize students’ mental health, Ying Hanyu’s job was to regularly visit different schools to conduct psychological assessments and guidance for the students there.

However, because the original school doctor of Shenglin Academy was his uncle, who had to go abroad on urgent business, Ying Hanyu, who happened to be at Shenglin Academy for psychological counseling, temporarily took over his uncle’s position as the school doctor.

Ying Hanyu not only excelled in psychological counseling but also grew into an excellent doctor under the influence of his family.

The original character was young, ambitious, and had a bright future ahead of him, yet he became an innocent victim of the female lead’s dramatic antics.

And the female lead, who caused the death of an innocent person, felt no guilt at all. Instead, she was smug about becoming Lei Che’s lifesaver.

Because of Lan Lili’s prominent family background, even after the kidnappers were caught, they dared not speak out due to her family’s influence. The police believed it was a real kidnapping case.

Meanwhile, the female lead Lan Lili took this opportunity to get everything she wanted and happily stayed with Lei Che.

Ying Zhao frowned deeply as he understood this, feeling very upset. Not only had his man become the official pairing with this Lan Lili in the small world, but his own identity was clearly that of a role barely worthy of being cannon fodder.

He barely appeared in the entire story, and when he finally did, it was only to die saving the female lead, which couldn’t be more frustrating.

Rolling his eyes, Ying Zhao asked Xiaobai in his consciousness sea:

“So what is Ying Hanyu’s wish? Does he hate the female lead and want me to take revenge on Lan Lili?”

Xiaobai shook his head and said to Ying Zhao, “No, Ying Hanyu’s wish is to find his true love!”

Ying Zhao blinked at Xiaobai’s words, feeling a bit stunned, wondering what kind of wish this was.

Because in everyone’s impression, Ying Hanyu was a handsome, dashing, and very sociable guy.

Moreover, Ying Hanyu had a great personality and treated students’ injuries with care, making him very serious about his work.

A person like him, who was clearly very popular on campus, why would his wish be to find true love?

However, Ying Zhao then looked into the original owner’s memories and found that while Ying Hanyu appeared that way at school, he was actually a very conservative person.

Although he occasionally spoke flirtatiously, he had never been in a relationship. Ying Hanyu was naturally gay, but because his family was very traditional and conservative, he had always been afraid to face his sexuality directly and remained single.

So his wish was that if he could do it over again, he hoped to be braver, face his sexuality, not feel lost because of it, find a truly loving partner, and spend his life happily.

After understanding Ying Hanyu’s real situation, Ying Zhao nodded, thinking that his wish was reasonable. After all, true love is something that can be hard to come by.

But in this world, with his own lover here, this wish should be quite achievable.

With this thought, Ying Zhao breathed a sigh of relief, tugged at the white robe on himself, sat in front of a mirror, and wanted to see what he looked like in this world.

He found that the original Ying Hanyu’s appearance was indeed very good. Fair skin, curved eyebrows, a high nose bridge, and upturned lips, giving off a feeling of smiling even when not speaking, looking friendly and optimistic.

He had a straight posture and a slender figure. Perhaps because of his medical background, he paid attention to maintenance and exercise, with a thin layer of abs on his stomach, which Ying Zhao found quite satisfactory.

Just like his appearance, Ying Hanyu was friendly and easy to get along with, no wonder he was so popular at school.

Whenever the school held various activities, students liked to invite him to join, a treatment the former school doctor never enjoyed.

While thinking about what his lover was doing now, Ying Zhao walked to the wardrobe, took out the white shirt and gray trousers the original owner often wore. After fastening his belt, he put on a white coat and hung his work badge.

The original owner was very organized, so everything around him looked orderly. Ying Zhao took out a prepared sandwich from the fridge, heated it a bit, and had it with milk for breakfast.

He then opened the wooden door and went downstairs to the original owner’s workplace. He saw many potted plants on the windowsill on the first floor, sensing that the original owner loved life very much.

Unfortunately, due to some selfish actions, an innocent life was lost. Ying Zhao frowned, deciding not to think about these unpleasant things, and went outside to observe his current residence.

Unexpectedly, the tower in front of him was quite stunning. Although not luxurious, it felt extremely comfortable.

It was clearly in a European architectural style and reportedly had a history of over a hundred years. It was originally a clock tower, but after maintenance and reconstruction, it had been renovated.

The clock was removed, two sides were sealed to become walls, and glass was installed on the other two sides as floor-to-ceiling windows. From a distance, it was still a campus landmark but now more practical.

Since Ying Hanyu was only temporarily replacing his uncle and focusing on psychological counseling, his office location was different from other school doctors.

Of course, this was mainly because his uncle was very senior and had a personal preference, so he applied to the school for this place. Ying Hanyu just happened to benefit from it.

Ying Zhao felt very satisfied to be able to do such leisurely work on campus and live in such a comfortable place.

In a good mood, Ying Zhao hummed a little tune and decided to stroll around the campus. Originally, he was thinking about having Xiao Bai report his man’s location so they could have a chance encounter on campus.

But before Ying Zhao had a chance to tell Xiao Bai to report Lei Che’s location, he suddenly heard a commotion ahead.

Curious, Ying Zhao walked closer and saw a tall, skinny boy suddenly pushed in front of him. Reflexively, Ying Zhao dodged, causing the boy to fall to the ground.

It seemed the boy’s knee was scraped, as blood was already seeping through the thin fabric of his pants. Ying Zhao looked up, somewhat stunned, and saw that several important characters in the storyline had indeed appeared.

The female lead, Lan Lili, was shocked. However, she didn’t seem to notice Ying Zhao; her entire attention was on the fallen boy.

Lan Lili hurried over, wanting to help the boy up. But the boy ignored her, instead holding his leg and standing up on his own.

Next to him, a dark-skinned, athletic-looking boy, wearing a sports jacket and looking furious, yelled at the fallen boy, “Lei Che, what’s with your attitude! Didn’t you see Lili trying to help you? Don’t you even know basic manners?”

However, Lan Lili, hearing his words, didn’t seem to appreciate them. Instead, she turned and reproached him, “He Lei, this was clearly your fault. How can you blame Lei Che? Explain yourself, why did you push Lei Che down? What you did was really too much!”

He Lei pressed his lips together, looked at Lan Lili, then at Lei Che, who was standing beside him with his head down. With obvious disdain in his eyes, he said unhappily, “Lili, I didn’t do it on purpose. The ball flew over here, and I was just trying to catch it!”

Hearing Lei Che’s name, Ying Zhao immediately turned to look at the boy with the bleeding knee. Realizing it was his own avoidance that caused his lover to fall and get hurt, he couldn’t help but feel a little guilty.

Lan Lili, hearing He Lei’s explanation, wasn’t convinced. Instead, she turned and looked at Lei Che with a gentle expression, extending her hand to help him.

However, Lei Che avoided her, seemingly not wanting the female lead to approach him, which caused a trace of awkwardness to flash in Lan Lili’s eyes. Ying Zhao saw all this and felt quite pleased.

Only then did Ying Zhao carefully observe his lover’s appearance in this life. Lei Che was only twenty years old this year, and his face naturally still had a somewhat youthful and tender look.

He was wearing the school’s uniform T-shirt and a pair of gray pants that looked a bit washed out. His skin didn’t look fair, probably due to having endured much hardship from exposure to the elements in his early years.

So even though Lei Che was tall, his body appeared somewhat frail. His bangs were a bit long, covering his brows and eyes, making him look a bit gloomy.

However, through the uncovered half of his eye and most of his face, it was still clear that he had a very good appearance.

His features were sharp, but his eyes held a shadow that made him seem unapproachable.

Seeing Lei Che’s obvious body language of refusal, yet Lan Lili still persistently trying to help him, Ying Zhao couldn’t help but feel a bit annoyed.

However, with a smiling face, he stepped forward, grabbed Lei Che’s arm, and said, “This student, you’re injured. You should come with me to the school clinic.”

Lei Che looked up at Ying Zhao, seemingly stunned for a moment upon seeing his face, but still shook his head. Frowning, he tried to pull his arm away from Ying Zhao.

For the first time, Ying Zhao felt his lover’s resistance. He found it novel but wasn’t willing to accept it.

So he firmly restrained Lei Che. Despite Lei Che being taller, it was clear he couldn’t match the often-exercised Ying Hanyu in strength.

So Lei Che, after a couple of futile attempts to break free and realizing the other’s firm attitude, stopped struggling. Seeing his lover finally being obedient, Ying Zhao smiled and decided to take him back to his place to treat his wounds.

Noticing Lan Lili, who seemed to want to follow, Ying Zhao concealed his impatience and turned to her with a smile, “This student, class is about to start. I’ll take care of this; you don’t need to come with us.”

Lan Lili, looking worriedly at Lei Che, reluctantly nodded and politely said, “Then I’ll trouble you.”

She then turned to Lei Che and said with concern, “Lei Che, I’ll come see you after class!”

Lei Che gave no response to Lan Lili, only thinking that this school doctor beside him was a bit odd. He hadn’t seen him on campus before, but since the other was holding him so tightly, he followed him expressionlessly.

Not long after they walked away, Ying Zhao heard Lan Lili loudly speaking behind them. She was righteously scolding He Lei:

“He Lei, although Lei Che is poor and has a hearing disability, he is still our classmate. You shouldn’t discriminate against him; we should be helping him instead.”

Naturally, Lei Che couldn’t hear these words, but Ying Zhao’s mouth curled into a mocking smile.

Saying such things loudly in front of so many people—was she trying to help him or humiliate him? It seemed the female lead would spare no effort to use others for her good reputation.

Ignoring the commotion behind him, Ying Zhao and Lei Che walked a bit further until they reached Ying Zhao’s so-called school clinic.

Lei Che was a bit dazed seeing the white building in front of him, hesitating about whether he should go in. Ying Zhao patted Lei Che’s shoulder and said:

“What are you dazing out for? Although my main job is psychological counseling, I can do everything an ordinary school doctor can do.”

Saying this, he pulled Lei Che into the room, had him sit in a chair and wait, and then immediately fetched the necessary items for disinfection. Squatting down, he carefully bandaged Lei Che’s wound.

However, after the wound was treated, Ying Zhao noticed that Lei Che’s pants had a large tear from the fall.

Seeing his lover’s indifferent expression and lack of attention to him, Ying Zhao raised an eyebrow and said to Lei Che, “Follow me to the second floor.”

But after Ying Zhao finished speaking, Lei Che showed no expression and didn’t respond. Ying Zhao blinked, realizing that Lei Che couldn’t hear him.

So he gently pinched Lei Che’s chin, making him face him, and mouthed, “Follow me to the second floor.”

Lei Che didn’t expect a stranger to suddenly pinch his chin, but for some reason, seeing the other’s face so close, he felt a bit flushed.

Still, he maintained his usual cold demeanor, staying silent and making no move. Since his wound had already been treated, he wondered what the school doctor wanted to do by taking him to the second floor.

Frowning slightly, Lei Che stood up and hobbled towards the door. Ying Zhao squinted, seeing that Lei Che was not obeying, and immediately grabbed his arm, forcibly dragging him to the second floor.

The second floor was the original owner’s private space, with some relatively comfortable furniture, though the space wasn’t large.

Ying Zhao pulled Lei Che into his room and made him sit in a chair. Then he rummaged through the room, found a needle and thread, and waved them in front of Lei Che.

Pointing to the hole in his pants, he asked, “Can you sew this yourself?”

Seeing the needle and thread in Ying Zhao’s hand, Lei Che finally understood why he was called to the second floor and nodded.
