GBROTAH CH85

Xie Yuanxing was in an extremely bad position.

Lying on his back on the bed, his legs were pried apart by Shen Bianye’s knee, unable to be brought together, and he had no way to escape.

Anyone in such a terrible position would feel insecure, and Xie Yuanxing was no exception.

Also, what did he mean by “Aren’t we dating?”
What was this person talking about?
Wasn’t this something they both tacitly knew was fake?

Xie Yuanxing stared at Shen Bianye warily, his voice fierce but his heart weak. “When did I ever agree to date you?”
“Get off!”

Shen Bianye’s knee pushed forward an inch, moving even closer. “We’re not dating?”
“Didn’t Xingxing say you like me?”
“You even called me gege. So well-behaved, Xingxing.”

Xie Yuanxing was so scared he kept shrinking back. His body was already pressed against the wall, with no room to retreat. He could only stare at Shen Bianye nervously. “I don’t understand what you’re saying.”

“Baby doesn’t understand?”
“Then why is there a picture of me without my clothes on in baby’s phone?”

Shen Bianye’s knee was about to press against the inside of Xie Yuanxing’s thigh. Scared, he quickly reached out his hands to push, but upon hearing Shen Bianye’s last sentence, he was dumbfounded, both shocked and angry, with a hint of guilt he couldn’t hide. “How could you peek at my phone!!”
“When did you look?”
“You even went through my phone’s photo album!”
His handsome face was flushed with anger, his voice rising several octaves. “Do you even know what privacy is!!”

Shen Bianye’s lips curled. A silent, soundless sigh passed through his heart.
Baby really did save his photo.
Saved in his phone, which could be considered a private item, it was as if he had invaded Xie Yuanxing’s private territory.

As for whether it was saved to be used for revenge against him someday, Shen Bianye didn’t care.

He let out a low laugh. The look in his eyes as he gazed at Xie Yuanxing was like that of a cold snake coveting its prey—greedy and determined. “I was just bluffing, baby.”
“Did you bring your phone to school?”

Xie Yuanxing froze, his expression blank.
Oh no.
He fell for it.

He was like a poor lamb cornered, caught off guard in his panic before he could react.

Shen Bianye: “Did baby save it because you like it?”
“Should I let baby see all of it?”
As he spoke, he crossed his hands in front of him and grabbed the hem of his shirt, about to take it off.

One of them was lying on the bed, the other was standing right in front, one knee pressed up.
Such a terrible position.
This smooth and swift motion of taking off his shirt.

It scared Xie Yuanxing so much that he grabbed his hands, saying frantically, “Let’s talk things out! Don’t just take off your clothes at the drop of a hat!”

He no longer dared to play dumb. Without a moment’s hesitation, he spoke rapidly, “I know it was wrong of me to deceive you, but didn’t you and Zhou Chao team up to set me up first?”
“At most, I just made you write a self-criticism.”
“And you made me write a self-criticism too.”
“At worst… at worst, I’ll write another five hundred words to give back to you.”

Shen Bianye didn’t speak. Xie Yuanxing gritted his teeth. “A thousand, is that okay?”

Shen Bianye still didn’t speak. Xie Yuanxing felt a little wronged. “Fifteen hundred should be fine, right?”
He was punished with a thousand words and made Shen Bianye write three thousand. If he added another fifteen hundred, it would be two thousand five hundred.
If Shen Bianye still wasn’t satisfied with that and he added more, he would be at three thousand too!
After all that effort, if he only ended up with an extra two thousand words of useless self-criticism for himself.
Then what was the point of him working so hard to have an online romance with Shen Bianye using an alternate account?

The more Xie Yuanxing thought about it, the angrier he got. Angry and wronged, his temper flared, and he no longer cared about how passive his current situation was.
He sat up abruptly, and with a loud thump—!
He bumped into…
Shen Bianye’s hand.

It happened so fast. Shen Bianye didn’t have time to call out to Xie Yuanxing and subconsciously blocked it with his hand.
Xie Yuanxing’s head didn’t hit the bed board and steel frame. With the buffer from Shen Bianye’s hand, though he sat up quickly and abruptly, he didn’t feel any pain.
But a bruise quickly appeared on the back of Shen Bianye’s hand.

When Xie Yuanxing saw the somewhat horrifying bruise, his fiery momentum immediately deflated. “Are… are you okay?”
It was like a volcano that had gone extinct before it could erupt.
There was still a little aftershock, a bluffing wisp of smoke. “First things first, even if you’re in pain, you can’t hit me…”

Heartless little thing.
Shen Bianye was about to laugh from anger. He had used his hand to block it because he was afraid Xie Yuanxing would hit his head. How could he possibly hit Xie Yuanxing? In Xie Yuanxing’s mind, was he that kind of person?
The words “I’m fine” that were about to come out changed at his lips. “I’m not fine.”
“It’s bruised. How could I be fine?”

Xie Yuanxing said weakly, “I can buy you some medicine, okay?”
He looked at Shen Bianye’s hand. It had taken a solid hit; it would surely hurt for a few days.

“How do you want to compensate?”
He stared at Shen Bianye with some vigilance, afraid the latter would use the ‘an eye for an eye’ method of exchanging one self-criticism for another, a tactic that would harm the enemy by a thousand while losing eight hundred oneself. He emphasized, “You really can’t hit me.”

Shen Bianye’s heart ached with anger. He looked at Xie Yuanxing’s dark eyes staring intently at him, the black beauty mark under his eye flickering and swaying, the slightly parted lips revealing a hint of a tender red tongue tip.
He met Xie Yuanxing’s gaze, and as if possessed, he said, “It will be better if baby licks it.”

Xie Yuanxing: ……
If you’re sick, see a doctor. If you’re injured, apply medicine. His saliva wasn’t some kind of trauma spray.
He silently shook his head, pressing his lips together in refusal.

Shen Bianye: “Then it’s also okay if I lick baby.”
Under Xie Yuanxing’s astonished gaze, which held a hint of looking at a pervert, he paused and corrected himself as if to cover it up, “I mean, kiss baby. I misspoke.”

Xie Yuanxing: ……
His gaze drifted to the side, considering his chances of making a successful escape if he bolted for the door while Shen Bianye wasn’t paying attention.
His gaze went down, looking at the knee still stuck between his legs, and he instantly felt that the probability was about zero.

Xie Yuanxing put on a straight face. “Impossible.”
“Whether it’s licking, kissing, or dating, it’s all impossible.”
“You clearly knew this was all fake.”

Shen Bianye’s eyes darkened as he stared at Xie Yuanxing. He had thought this online romance could last a little longer, giving him enough time to slowly boil the frog and lure Xie Yuanxing into his territory.
But as it turned out, Xie Yuanxing’s interest in him, even for revenge, only lasted two or three days.
How could Shen Bianye be content with that?

He stared at Xie Yuanxing for too long, so long that Xie Yuanxing began to feel uneasy. After a long moment, Shen Bianye smiled, turned, and left.
Continuing the standoff would lead to no result. There were only two paths before Shen Bianye.
Force Xie Yuanxing to compromise temporarily, which would earn his disgust.
Pretend that from the beginning it was a game colluded with Zhou Chao to lure Xie Yuanxing into a trap, putting on a show with some clumsy lies to save a bit of face.

Shen Bianye couldn’t do either. He could only leave.
It was quite laughable.
He had thought that Xie Yuanxing might, more or less, have some feelings for him. Otherwise, why would Xie Yuanxing, who had never been in a relationship with anyone, agree to such a ridiculous suggestion as getting revenge through an online romance?
So when Xie Yuanxing retreated, he pushed forward more directly.
But as it turned out, from beginning to end, it was just his own wishful thinking.
Too laughable.
But Shen Bianye couldn’t bring himself to laugh.

Xie Yuanxing sat alone on the bed in the dorm, watching the open door and the figure disappearing from the doorway with a dazed and then surprised expression.
Although he didn’t know why Shen Bianye let him go, didn’t this also mean that this matter was over!!!

Xie Yuanxing’s expression was one of pleasant surprise. He shot up from the bed, and with another thump—!, he fell backward abruptly.
“Oof!”
Tears instantly streamed down his face, his eyes turning red in a second. He clutched his forehead with both hands, hissing in pain.
It hurts, it hurts, it hurts so much.
He was never sitting on the bottom bunk again, sob.

Xie Yuanxing was in too much pain to stand up. The hands clutching his forehead were just hovering there, not daring to touch.
After the sharp pain passed, he slowly pushed himself up from the bed. It hurt so much, he felt like his brain had been scrambled by the impact.
Could this be karma for bumping into Shen Bianye just now?
That karma came way too fast.

Xie Yuanxing, his eyes watery, reached up to gently touch his forehead, thinking of going to a mirror to see what it looked like.
But in his peripheral vision, he saw his hand, his fingertips stained with blood.

Xie Yuanxing’s eyes widened slightly. The next second, he felt a warm, wet liquid slide down his forehead. His expression gradually shifted from shock to horror. He frantically looked around the dorm for some tissues.
He only came back to the dorm for a short rest at noon. His own tissues had long since run out, and he hadn’t noticed.
He remembered there used to be tissues on Shen Bianye’s desk. He looked over now, but it was empty.
Having hit his head and started bleeding just by sitting up from the bed, Xie Yuanxing was in a bit of a panic. Seeing Shen Bianye’s drawer, he subconsciously went to open it to see if there were any tissues inside.

There was a book in the drawer. Something was stuffed inside it, making it bulge. Xie Yuanxing’s sharp eyes spotted a small pack of tissues under the book.
He picked up the book, took out the tissues from underneath, pulled one out, and wiped the blood, hissing in pain. But at least the bleeding had stopped.

Xie Yuanxing was about to put the book back and close the drawer when he saw a Crayon Shin-chan band-aid among the jumble of things in the drawer.
He reached for it, but his gaze on the drawer grew more and more confused, with a hint of contemplation.
He went to the sink, put the band-aid on while looking in the mirror, then returned to the drawer, his expression slowly turning strange and complex.

A Crayon Shin-chan band-aid, a poop-shaped pen, a pin of the villain with a stitched-up face from a popular anime… these things all seemed strangely familiar.
They were his things. Or rather, they were things he had given to Shen Bianye.
These were all the things that had been pressed under that book.
And the book he had taken out and placed on the desk, the one that was too full to close properly, had fallen open at some point, revealing the crumpled note tucked inside.
On it, in flamboyant script, were the three large words “You’re so annoying,” followed by a string of exclamation marks.

Xie Yuanxing knew all too well who had written in that style.
Xie Yuanxing’s fingers curled slightly. He reached out and flipped through the book.

“What are you doing?”
A voice came from behind, startling Xie Yuanxing. He subconsciously turned around, his gaze meeting the expressionless face of Shen Bianye.

“S..sorry. I, I didn’t mean to go through your drawer.”
“No, no, no, that’s not it. I wasn’t going through your drawer, I was just looking for a piece of tissue.”
For some reason, a sense of embarrassment from being caught doing something sneaky suddenly rose in Xie Yuanxing’s heart.
But clearly, the one who should be more embarrassed was Shen Bianye.

Shen Bianye’s gaze, however, fell on the band-aid on Xie Yuanxing’s forehead. His brows furrowed tightly. “What happened to your head?”

Xie Yuanxing stammered, “Just now, after you left, I got up and hit my head on the iron frame of the top bunk and started bleeding.”

Shen Bianye’s brows furrowed even deeper. “Are you an idiot? Or a pig?”
“You hit it once and you hit it a second time? Do you have a brain in that skull of yours?”
“So stupid. How did you grow up to be this big?”
“You hit your head on a rusty iron frame. Is a band-aid enough when you’re bleeding? This dorm only has you and me. If you die of tetanus, are you planning to haunt me?”

He had only been gone for five minutes, and Xie Yuanxing had managed to make himself bleed.
Shen Bianye was annoyed, regretting that he had left. He reached out and grabbed Xie Yuanxing’s hand. “Come with me to find the head teacher and ask for a leave slip.”
“Then come with me to the hospital.”

Xie Yuanxing followed beside him, his expression not too happy. “Why are you scolding me?”
“It’s not like I wanted to hit my head.”
“Also, if I really die of tetanus, how can I haunt you? You’re so mean.”

Shen Bianye sneered. “I’ve always been this mean.”
“It’s not like you’re dating me. Why should I be so gentle with you?”

Xie Yuanxing: ……
“Why did you collect all those notes I threw at you?”

Shen Bianye gave him a deep look. “You want to know?”

Xie Yuanxing nodded, then shook his head. “Actually, I know.”
“You don’t have to do these unnecessary things, like collecting these notes and stuff. It feels like something an omega would do. It’s weird for you to be so pure.”

Shen Bianye smiled, his gaze falling on the cute but ugly Crayon Shin-chan band-aid on Xie Yuanxing’s forehead.
Considering his injury and not wanting to scare him, he ultimately phrased his words more euphemistically. “You think I’m collecting them?”
Shen Bianye chuckled softly, his voice low and strange. “Wrong. I’m not collecting them.”
“I’ve smelled every single one of them. I’m just trying to find your scent on the paper you’ve used, baby.”

The moment he finished speaking, Xie Yuanxing’s entire face burned up. For the rest of the way, until they reached the hospital, he followed Shen Bianye step by step, not saying another word.

At the hospital, after getting a tetanus shot, the nurse was wiping Xie Yuanxing’s wound with iodine. Shen Bianye stood by, his brow furrowed, his expression unconsciously sinking. “Does it hurt?”
Xie Yuanxing glanced at him and silently shook his head.
It hurts.

Shen Bianye: “Don’t let the wound get wet for the next few days. Avoid it when you wash your face. Don’t pick at the scab when it gets itchy. I’ll buy you a hat. It’s winter, it’ll hurt if the wound is exposed to the wind outside.”

The nurse beside them was silently packing up her things, feeling like all the instructions she was about to give had already been said. She seemed to remember something and was about to add a sentence when she heard Shen Bianye speak:
“Also, eat less spicy food for the next two days. Keep your diet light.”
“Tomorrow is Sunday. Have your mom make you some steamed pig brains to help you recover.”
“If your mom is busy with work and doesn’t have time, I’ll take you out to eat. Don’t worry, I’ll get you some pig brains too.”

The nurse: ……Okay, he’s completely finished, and even added two unnecessary sentences.

Shen Bianye said a lot. Xie Yuanxing just nodded. He lifted his chin slightly, as if giving Shen Bianye’s hand an imaginary pat through the air. “You should have the doctor look at the injury on your hand too.”

Shen Bianye: “I’m not as delicate as you. Your skin is so tender, it bleeds at the slightest touch.”

Xie Yuanxing pouted. Fine, don’t get it checked. It wasn’t him who was in pain.
Wait, he was in pain too.
He was never staying on the bottom bunk again in his life.

Shen Bianye: “When we get back, I’ll clean up the top bunk and move your bed up there.”
As he said this, he paused. “Sorry. If I hadn’t called you back to the dorm, you might not have hit your head.”

Hearing this, Xie Yuanxing nodded like a chick pecking at rice.
Exactly. It was clearly Shen Bianye’s fault, and Shen Bianye had even scolded him.

Shen Bianye looked at the person who had gotten a tetanus shot and had his wound treated, but was still silent. He furrowed his brow. “Why aren’t you talking?”
“You can scold me a few times too. I won’t get angry, and I won’t talk back.”

Xie Yuanxing’s head hurt, but he wasn’t that angry. The first time he hit his head, Shen Bianye had blocked it for him. The second time he hit it, Shen Bianye had already left.
But since Shen Bianye said he could scold him, then he would…
Before the word “idiot” could leave his mouth, he heard Shen Bianye ask in a puzzled tone, “Or were you scared by what I said earlier?”
He had already tried to be euphemistic. For an Alpha, this was very normal, not that strange.
How could it have scared Xie Yuanxing into silence? Was he that terrifying?

Xie Yuanxing: ……
The curse was stuck in his throat. He pressed his lips together and shook his head. His words came out abruptly and bluntly: “I don’t like you.”

Shen Bianye’s hand holding the medicine tightened abruptly, his knuckles turning white. Then he slowly relaxed them. “So? What are you trying to say?”
“You want me to keep my distance from you?”

Xie Yuanxing hesitated for a moment, then shook his head again. “You should throw away the pen and the pin in your drawer.”
“That pen, when you asked to borrow one, I deliberately picked the poop-shaped one to give you. That pin, when you asked what it was, I had just gotten a character from an anime I really hate, so I gave it to you like I was throwing away trash.”
“Things that should be treasured shouldn’t be things given with malicious intent.”
He bit the soft flesh inside his cheek, feeling more than a little guilty.

Shen Bianye seemed to laugh. “Actually, I pretty much knew.”
“But they were all gifts from you.”

Xie Yuanxing’s eyelashes trembled. He guiltily quickened his pace.
Damn it. Now I feel even more guilty.
