The discussion of Xie Yuanxing’s unfamiliarity eventually reached the ears of the other party involved, Shen Bianye.
When curious people came to ask, Shen Bianye calmly stated, “Indeed, we’re not familiar.”
He then immediately sought out the person he claimed he wasn’t familiar with.
X: “Baby, why are you trying to distance yourself from our relationship like this?”
X: “I think I’m still pretty good, my conditions aren’t bad. I’m not that unpresentable, baby.”
X: “You’ve seen and touched my abs, I gave you my first kiss, baby. You can’t just take advantage and then deny it, you can’t do that, baby.”
X: “Or maybe baby wants to check the effect of 20? It’s great, baby.”
Xie Yuanxing was still in the library. He usually never checked his phone in the middle of studying; he’d typically take a break every two or three hours, and even then, he’d only glance at class group messages or X’s messages, then space out for two minutes.
So when Xie Yuanxing put down his pen and subconsciously picked up his phone to check messages, his face instantly turned bright red.
X: “Baby, doing it alone is really boring, it’s a bit fast, baby.”
X: “image.jpg”
In the image, a fiercely erect snakehead was spewing bodily fluids, veins bulging, looking extremely menacing. The intense impact directly on the screen made it difficult to notice the phone with a timer displayed below it at first glance.
One hour and eight minutes.
The moment Xie Yuanxing saw it, he abruptly flipped his phone face down.
The speed and force were such that the phone slammed directly onto the table with a thud, making Xie Yuanxing want to crawl under the table.
Broad daylight… clear skies… under everyone’s eyes…
Xie Yuanxing felt as if he was possessed by the censor he’d learned about in high school, several four-character idioms repeatedly echoing in his mind.
The impact was too great; he couldn’t forget it, and his worldview was crumbling.
He looked somewhat dazed.
As if remembering something, he suddenly stood up, packed his things at the fastest speed of his life, and hurried out of the library with his phone.
He felt as if he had defiled the halls of academia.
Shame crept over his face. He walked quickly, wishing he could run with his head covered, his phone still buzzing in his hand. Xie Yuanxing was like someone holding a hot potato.
Under immense stimulation and embarrassment, he quickly blocked X.
X: “Baby, did you see?”
X: “20 is also very good, baby.”
X: “I’m pretty good everywhere, baby, don’t distance yourself from me, okay?”
X: “We’ve already kissed, aren’t we familiar now, baby?”
X: “What does ‘familiar’ mean, baby, teach me, huh?” (The other party has enabled friend verification. You are not yet his/her friend. If you need to…)
In his dorm, Shen Bianye brought his phone close to his face, his expression dark, and read the text behind the bright red exclamation mark three times before he could believe that Xie Yuanxing had actually blocked him.
How could this be?
A feeling akin to grievance welled up in Shen Bianye’s heart for no reason. These past few days, he had been scolded and neglected, which he deserved.
But seeing the number of times he had previously spoken quickly evening out with Xie Yuanxing, and Xie Yuanxing still ignoring him, Shen Bianye was already panicking. Then he heard from others that Xie Yuanxing had personally said they weren’t familiar.
Now, trying to probe in a roundabout way, even X was blocked by Xie Yuanxing.
Shen Bianye had never been so anxious and insecure. He even began to fear what he would do if Xie Yuanxing always refused to acknowledge him, only allowing an occasional kiss in the dark.
He and Xie Yuanxing had known each other for almost a year. So far, they had kissed twice. At this rate, could they even get to bed within ten years?
Damn it.
He wouldn’t die a virgin, would he?
Speaking of which, Xie Yuanxing’s birthday was approaching. Would Xie Yuanxing be willing to spend it with him?
Sigh, was he really going to become a wizard? After all, if he was truly close to the end of his life and still hadn’t touched Xie Yuanxing, he probably wouldn’t have the heart to in the end.
How did Xie Yuanxing want to spend his birthday? Baby’s entertainment life was too limited; it was hard for him to cater to his preferences. He couldn’t just send a set of practice questions, could he?
Perhaps, if he was destined for a short life, a platonic relationship with Xie Yuanxing was the best choice?
His mind was a mess, with warm birthday wishes on one side and desires struggling on the other. The two alternated as thoughts, but both were related to Xie Yuanxing.
Shen Bianye thought alone for a while, his handsome face slightly distorted, feeling a bit unwilling but also willing to accept.
He aggrievedly sent a friend request to Xie Yuanxing again using X.
X sent you a friend request. Note: “Baby, I’m willing to be platonic, please don’t ignore me.”
Xie Yuanxing finally found an empty corner to hide, and when he saw this message, he suddenly felt like laughing from anger.
Someone holding an aggressively erect “20” and timing it on their phone didn’t look like someone willing to be platonic.
His face was flushed, and summer had already begun, making him feel somewhat hot. Sitting in the school pavilion, he could barely keep himself from feeling like he was steaming.
He held his phone and calmed down for a while before accepting the friend request.
And, in the VX friend request interface, the long-ignored friend request from Shen Bianye was also accepted.
X: “Baby.”
He paused, not forgetting to praise Xie Yuanxing even now, “Baby really did a good job, but when will baby give me a proper title, baby?”
X: “I regret it.”
X: “You walked past me, didn’t look at me, didn’t even give me a glance.”
X: “I’m really going crazy.”
That’s why he’d resorted to every means to get Xie Yuanxing’s attention, even if it meant being called a pervert.
Before Xie Yuanxing could speak, he changed his mind first.
X: “Baby, I was a bit too hasty. Baby can take your time and do things your own way.”
Someone who had made a mistake had no right to be impatient.
He had said those words, so he naturally had to bear the backlash.
He finally understood how those words felt to Xie Yuanxing, like the two of them weren’t even worthy of being mentioned together.
It hurt his self-esteem.
Xie Yuanxing leaned back in the pavilion wearing a white jacket. The green ivy covering the pavilion roof swayed gently in the wind, and his porcelain-white legs beneath his shorts seemed to dangle leisurely.
The young man was as pure as jade, and his malicious thoughts were merely limited to an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
Shen Bianye had slighted him for one semester, and he only planned to continue until the end of this semester.
Moreover…
Last time, when they rushed to deal with Xie Zhuowu’s matter, he saw Shen Bianye’s ID card. Shen Bianye’s birthday was coming up, in the summer.
He wanted to celebrate Shen Bianye’s birthday.
So, his lips curled slightly as he typed: “My way, huh?”
“My way, how about we go have fun this summer?”
“The cost of living in Z City isn’t high. Would you be willing to go there?”
Shen Bianye paused, feeling a surprise akin to a prisoner seeing their release nearing, almost moved to tears. His emotions surged, finally leaving him with just one sentence, “I’m willing, baby.”
Damn.
Why did it feel like saying “I do” at a wedding? Why did it feel so much like they were getting married?
Would Xie Yuanxing be willing to marry him?
