Gu Siyuan and Xie Fengqing locked eyes for a few seconds. Reaching back to close the office door, he walked toward him, his expression as calm as ever: “Why did you come to the company?”

Xie Fengqing glanced at the thing in his hand, then looked back at Gu Siyuan.

Heh…
Keep pretending. Just keep pretending.

His pale, slender fingers lightly tapped the fluffy tail. With a half-smile, he said, “Hmph, if I didn’t come, how would I have known that President Gu actually hid such good stuff in his office…”

“The office?” Gu Siyuan raised an eyebrow slightly and nodded: “Good idea.”

Xie Fengqing froze for a moment, blinking: “What do you mean?”

Gu Siyuan leaned close to his ear, lowered his eyes, and whispered, “I originally planned to take it home to use, but looking at it now, your suggestion seems… much more thrilling.”

“…” Xie Fengqing’s cheeks flushed bright red.

When did he suggest that?!

However, looking at Gu Siyuan in his formal suit, with his stern face—looking so awe-inspiring and untouchable to the outside world, yet acting like this with him in private—he couldn’t help but feel a bit of yearning and smugness.

He licked his lips and said innocently, “Alright then, then you can wear it. I… won’t judge you.”

“…” Gu Siyuan fell silent.

There seems to be a misunderstanding.

But, that wasn’t important.

Gu Siyuan stared at Xie Fengqing thoughtfully and said, “I heard this thing wags as body temperature rises…”

“Is… is that so?” Xie Fengqing suddenly had a bad premonition.

And in the next second, he was swept right up into a bridal carry by Gu Siyuan, who headed straight toward the adjoining lounge room.

As they walked, Gu Siyuan said coldly, “Oh, I forgot to remind you. These are all in your size.”

“…” Xie Fengqing.

So, he had basically walked right into the wolf’s den.

As for what happened next, it was enough to remain unforgettable for half of Xie Fengqing’s life. So much so that later on, whenever he saw a moving fluffy tail or anything similar, his body couldn’t help but shiver.

The setting sun slanted westward.

Everything gradually returned to peace.

Gu Siyuan carried him to the bathroom to wash up.

Warm water poured down over them.

Xie Fengqing lazily lifted his eyes, his voice hoarse: “Gu Siyuan, do you have a split personality?”

Gu Siyuan: “I shouldn’t have such a trendy affliction as a split personality.”

“Really? I don’t believe it.” Xie Fengqing slightly scrunched his nose, his white teeth lightly biting his red lips: “Then how do you manage to freely switch between the daily aloof, abstinent mode and the rough, wild beast mode in bed?”

Gu Siyuan tightened his arms slightly, pulling the person closer, his voice deep: “No matter what mode it is, it seems Classmate Xie enjoys it very much.”

“…Nonsense, mmph—” Xie Fengqing trembled.

Gu Siyuan lowered his head and directly kissed those lips that were so soft, yet normally so incredibly stubborn.

Xie Fengqing instantly lost his ability to speak.

In their occasional intimate moments, Gu Siyuan had always been extremely controlling, even a bit wild. But this kiss was gentle to the extreme. Like a spring breeze, like lake water… like sinking into a pile of freshly sun-dried, soft cotton quilts.

Xie Fengqing’s arms subconsciously wrapped around the man’s neck as he began to respond.

Their faces pressed together, the tips of their noses touching, lips and tongues lingering. Sometimes they would separate for a brief second, but immediately, they would gently cling to each other again, unable to tell who was seeking whom. Because of this, the kiss grew even more tender and romantic, as if it could last until the end of time.

Xie Fengqing completely drowned in it.

After an unknown amount of time, Gu Siyuan gently separated them, stroking Xie Fengqing’s back to help him catch his breath.

He asked in a low voice, “Classmate Xie, do you like it? Did you enjoy it?”

“…I like it.” Xie Fengqing tilted his head back to rest on Gu Siyuan’s shoulder. With a smile as bright as the clear moon, he confessed honestly, “I enjoyed it immensely.”

Yes, no matter what kind of Gu Siyuan it was, he liked him so much.

“As long as you like it. Enjoyment is everything.”

Gu Siyuan lifted him out of the bathtub and used a bath towel to gently dry the water droplets from his body.

Xie Fengqing looked down at the man’s handsome, stern side profile. His heart began to pound wildly, and his slender arms couldn’t help but wrap around him again as he mumbled, “I want to kiss again.”

“I wouldn’t dare disobey.” Gu Siyuan raised a sword-like eyebrow and pulled him into his embrace.

This kiss, compared to the last one, was not drawn out.

Gu Siyuan carried him out of the bathroom and placed him on the sofa.

Xie Fengqing picked up his phone and checked the time: “It’s already 6:00 PM. Have all the employees in your company gotten off work?”

Gu Siyuan was currently getting dressed: “Why, do you really want to meet them?”

“Absolutely not.” Xie Fengqing puffed his cheeks, his gaze lingering on Gu Siyuan’s beautiful muscles: “But your company isn’t busy at all. You didn’t show your face all afternoon, and no one even came looking for you.”

Gu Siyuan buttoned his shirt, sat down next to him, and said flatly: “To be an employee, the first requirement is professional ability. The second is situational awareness (tact).”

Hearing this, Xie Fengqing’s face instantly changed: “Are you saying… they all know what you were doing this afternoon?!”

Gu Siyuan: “What else?”

Xie Fengqing: “…”

With a thud, Xie Fengqing dropped his head onto Gu Siyuan’s shoulder and sighed deeply: “Gu Siyuan, I have no face left to come to your company for my internship.”

The corners of Gu Siyuan’s lips curled up: “Don’t be afraid. The office soundproofing is very good. At most, they are only guessing. They have no solid proof.”

Xie Fengqing glared at him.

What difference does that make?!

Gu Siyuan reached out to pinch his cheek, a half-smile on his face: “You have the heart of a thief but not the guts. Regarding the soundproofing issue, I recall you were the one who brought it up first this morning.”

“…” Xie Fengqing.

Alright, I teased too close to the sun. Even though it was indeed very exciting.

“Hubby…” Xie Fengqing deployed his ultimate spoiling tactic, slowly rubbing against him and sitting on his lap.

“Good boy,” Gu Siyuan hummed lowly. Supporting his waist with one hand, he rubbed his stomach with the other: “Are you hungry? What do you want to eat for dinner?”

Xie Fengqing immediately nodded: “I need to properly nourish myself, both my soul and my body.”

“I’ll listen to you,” Gu Siyuan stood up while holding him, asking softly, “Are you getting down to change clothes?”

“No.” Xie Fengqing shook his head, his hands wrapping tighter around Gu Siyuan’s neck, his long, slender legs crossing and wrapping tightly around Gu Siyuan’s waist. “Just carry me downstairs like this.”

Gu Siyuan looked at him in amusement: “You don’t feel embarrassed now? Looking at the lights outside, there might still be a few people working overtime.”

“Hmph, since things are already like this, what’s there to worry about?” Xie Fengqing rested his head on his shoulder and said viciously, “President Gu, what are you dawdling for? Could it be that you’re already exhausted from earlier, you can’t get it up anymore, and you can’t even carry me?”

Gu Siyuan stared intently at him, his large hand lightly smacking his butt: “Don’t ask for trouble.”

“Stop it…” Xie Fengqing’s cheeks flushed slightly.

Like holding a child, Gu Siyuan carried him out of the office with both hands.

Xie Fengqing had been acting all fierce and mighty just a moment ago, but once they stepped out the door, he buried his head tightly in Gu Siyuan’s chest, refusing to look up even once.

Several employees working overtime saw this scene. Their eyes flickered, but with extremely high professional quality, they pretended to see nothing.

Gu Siyuan said flatly to them, “Go home early, stay safe.”

“Understood, boss,” the group replied in unison, forcefully suppressing their gossip and inexplicable excitement.

It wasn’t until Gu Siyuan carried the person into the elevator that the group hurriedly gathered together, whispering frantically among themselves.

Inside the quiet elevator.

“The moment the doors closed, I heard them laughing,” Xie Fengqing finally raised his head, touching Gu Siyuan’s arm, huffing angrily.

Gu Siyuan found it funny: “Weren’t you going to just roll with it?”

Xie Fengqing puffed his cheeks: “I still need some face, okay?”

Gu Siyuan gently kissed his forehead: “Don’t worry about it. You’ll be coming to intern soon anyway. If not today, there would have been a next time.”

“…” Xie Fengqing.

This man was openly being shameless now.

He pinched his shoulder: “Gu Siyuan, this kind of mindset of yours is very dangerous. You’re going to get into trouble sooner or later.”

Gu Siyuan nodded: “Mm, we have a long… future ahead.”

“…” Xie Fengqing.

Xie Fengqing completely surrendered. Looking at the man’s unfazed face, he simply changed the subject: “President Gu, am I heavy? Can you still carry me?”

Gu Siyuan shot him a look and said flatly, “If I couldn’t, would you get down and walk yourself?”

Xie Fengqing shook his head, leaning closer into his embrace, and laughed smugly: “Of course not. But if you can’t carry me, then next time I’ll be on top.”

With a soft ding, the elevator doors opened.

Gu Siyuan walked out steadily carrying him, his face unchanging, not even panting, and said in a deep voice: “I can carry you, but you can still be on top next time.”

“Mm…” Xie Fengqing blinked in confusion, staring at Gu Siyuan: “Since when were you so easy to talk to?”

Gu Siyuan’s expression didn’t change: “Harmony in bed is the most important thing.”

“Is that so?” Xie Fengqing puffed his cheeks, feeling that something still wasn’t quite right.

Of course, he would very quickly understand the truth of the matter. (Note: Xie Fengqing meant topping, while Gu Siyuan meant riding cowgirl).

The daily life of the two of them was very harmonious.

Aside from Xie Fengqing’s occasionally annoying father, and those nagging anti-fans on the internet.

However, who knows what methods Gu Siyuan used, but after the Xie family threw a fit once, they never dared to appear in front of Xie Fengqing again. In the end, because the Xie family’s company went steadily downhill and neared bankruptcy, their shares were liquidated and sold off. With Gu Siyuan’s help, Xie Fengqing bought them up in large quantities, directly becoming the largest shareholder.

As for the anti-fans online who jumped high and relentlessly cursed Gu Siyuan, they were gradually drowned out by the mainstream tide when the June campus recruitment season arrived.

Yuanxing Technology, as an emerging major internet tech company, had an excellent reputation among graduates.

And its boss behind the scenes consequently revealed himself.

It was none other than Gu Siyuan—the “sugar baby” who had caused a bloodbath online a while ago, insulted by everyone as having nothing but a pretty face.

As soon as this news broke, it directly shot up the trending searches across multiple platforms. Netizens, with their vast abilities, completely dug up the history of how Gu Siyuan built his fortune.

“Holy crap, holy crap! This is a true self-made billionaire from scratch!”

“He’s only in his twenties! We’re all human beings, why is the difference so huge?”

“How are we the same? He was meticulously sculpted by the goddess Nuwa, while we are just random mud splatters she flicked off!”

“Why must you hurt me like this?”

And as for Gu Siyuan and Xie Fengqing’s CP shippers, they were even more ecstatic. Talk about pies dropping from the sky and finally holding their heads high!

Right then and there, they tagged the haters who had called Gu Siyuan a sugar baby and Xie Fengqing a blind idiot one by one, wanting to see their pained, regretful, and bitterly weeping appearances.

But the anti-fans were very stubborn. After all, if their brains worked properly, they wouldn’t spend all day trying to find ways to curse out an irrelevant stranger.

They switched to a different angle to provoke the CP fans.

“Don’t celebrate too early. So what if Gu Siyuan has money? I heard he cheated back when he was poor. Now that he’s rich, who knows, he might have a fourth, fifth, and sixth mistress by now.”

“Hahahaha, right! Maybe Gu Siyuan actually broke up with Xie Fengqing ages ago. Men turn bad when they get money. Only you bunch of idiots take it seriously.”

“Exactly! The last time Gu Siyuan duo-queued with Xie Fengqing was two months ago, right? After that, they never played games together again. In all likelihood, they split up a long time ago.”

The CP fans were naturally incredibly furious at these claims. They repeatedly clarified that the two would absolutely never break up and ruthlessly scolded the haters.

But thinking about how they hadn’t actually gotten any sweet interactions to ship lately, they couldn’t help but feel a bit depressed for a moment.

Coincidentally, this Saturday, Great Wilderness released a new dungeon, so Xie Fengqing opened his live stream as usual.

In an instant, countless people flooded into the live stream.

The comment section spammed continuously, basically all asking the exact same thing.

“Great God Xie, is President Gu there?”

“You and President Gu haven’t broken up, right?”

“President Gu hasn’t appeared in a long time, we really miss him!”

“Your relationship with President Gu is definitely still going strong, right?”

Looking at these comments, Xie Fengqing frowned, knowing that some new rumors must have sprung up online again.

Gu Siyuan, who had just brewed some milk tea and returned from the kitchen, happened to pass behind Xie Fengqing and saw these comments.

Extending his long arm, he reached around Xie Fengqing to place the cup on the desk, and casually tilted the webcam upward.

The faces of both men immediately appeared on the live stream.

“Ahhhh! President Gu! It’s President Gu, he appeared!”

“Hahaha, I knew it! It’s impossible for President Gu and Great God Xie to break up!”

“President Gu is hugging Great God Xie!”

Gu Siyuan looked at the comments, his expression remaining stern. He cleared his throat softly: “I have an announcement to make. In August, I will be registering for marriage with Xie Fengqing.”

As soon as these words came out, the first to explode wasn’t the live stream, but Xie Fengqing in his arms.

His body trembled violently, his eyes going wide: “What… what did you say?”

Gu Siyuan looked completely unfazed: “Marriage. Do you not want to?”

Xie Fengqing’s mouth hung slightly open, not knowing what to say, but the smile on his face grew wider and wider, and flowers had already bloomed directly in his heart.

Marriage. Getting married to Gu Siyuan.

This was something he had dreamed of thousands of times; how could he not want it?

It took him a long while to ask blankly, “Why so suddenly?”

Gu Siyuan looked at him, his voice crisp: “Is it sudden? This year on August 12th, I will turn 23. That just happens to reach the legal age to register for marriage.”

“…” Xie Fengqing.

Xie Fengqing froze for a second, and then directly laughed out loud, “Hehe…”, trembling like spring blossoms on a branch in March, and collapsed entirely into Gu Siyuan’s arms.

He thought secretly to himself: Yes, Gu Siyuan is exactly this kind of person. Even though he was younger, a few months his junior, he was the most indomitable, upright man.

If he didn’t like you, he was the gentlest, yet the coldest person in the world; if he liked you, he was the most gentle, and the most reassuring person in the world.

Gu Siyuan reached out to secure him in his arms: “We’re still live streaming. Restrain yourself a little.”

Xie Fengqing sat up straight, turned his head to plant a kiss on his cheek, and said gleefully, “I want the whole world to know how happy I am.”

“Mm.” Gu Siyuan also lowered his head to kiss his forehead. Catching sight of the continuous stream of congratulations and well-wishes on the computer screen out of the corner of his eye, he said flatly, “Since you’re so happy, and everyone’s words are so pleasant, let’s send out some red envelopes then.”

“…” Xie Fengqing.

Mm! That’s truly Gu Siyuan’s style.

  1. I think this is the first arc where the original couple stays together! Sure there’s a potential knife attack in the future but no doubt the future has changed enough they’ll be fine even if ML doesn’t block the knife! Anyway, ML was so happy this arc, so good.
