FIMA Ch180: Conclusion [Part Four]

Gu Siyuan fell silent for a moment.

As expected, he had underestimated Xie Qingxiao.

Originally, he had just thought they could go to his place to watch a movie and get familiar with his home environment in preparation for their future cohabitation.

He didn’t expect Xie Qingxiao to jump straight to the end.

But then again, who could say that idea wasn’t good?

Seeing Gu Siyuan not speaking, Xie Qingxiao pinched his fair fingers on his face. “What’s wrong? Do you also think my idea of reconciliation is particularly good?”

Gu Siyuan caught his fingers, gently rubbing them in his palm, and replied gracefully, “Hmm, it’s really good. Let’s go home right away.”

Xie Qingxiao smugly responded, “Mm.”

The car sped all the way to Gu Siyuan’s home.

Gu Siyuan didn’t particularly enjoy it; the house was closer to the research institute, a high-end apartment with high ceilings. Xie Qingxiao had been there a few times before, but this time, everything felt completely different.

Regardless of the change in their status or what might happen next.

Their relationship had never been particularly turbulent, and on the day they confirmed it, they went straight to the point.

The next day, the sun shone through the white curtains, casting a hazy light into the bedroom, onto the wide, spacious bed.

His fair legs rubbed gently against the deep blue sheets, and Xie Qingxiao slowly opened his eyes. The first sensation was that his whole body didn’t feel like his own anymore, and the awkward pain behind him was something he could ignore.

His expression changed for a while, recalling the movie last night. He realized he couldn’t remember anything.

However, he remembered going from the screening room to the living room, then to the balcony. As for how he ended up in the bedroom last night, he had no memory at all.

Perhaps Gu Siyuan remembered.

He reached out to touch the empty space beside him, which had already cooled off since Gu Siyuan had left a while ago.

He opened his mouth to call out, but found that perhaps due to excessive exertion last night, his throat was dry and parched. He gave up on calling out and reluctantly moved his stiff and sore waist, stretching his arm to grab his phone on the bedside table, intending to call Gu Siyuan.

Just then, there was a slight movement at the door of the room.

Gu Siyuan, holding a cup of warm water, quickened his pace upon seeing Xie Qingxiao’s appearance. He set the water glass down on the cabinet and reached out to pull him into his arms. “Looking for your phone?”

Xie Qingxiao nodded, nuzzling his head against Gu Siyuan’s chest like a spoiled kitten.

Gu Siyuan rubbed his head with one hand and picked up the phone with the other, handing it to him. “Is there anything wrong?”

Xie Qingxiao shook his head.

Gu Siyuan noticed his dry lips and picked up the warm water, bringing it to his lips and feeding him a few sips.

Xie Qingxiao felt completely revived by the water, letting out a long sigh of relief.

Gu Siyuan placed the cup back and lightly rubbed his stomach. “Are you hungry? I made some congee in the kitchen, it’s almost ready.”

“Yeah, I’m starving.” Xie Qingxiao nestled completely into Gu Siyuan’s embrace, his voice slightly muffled.

Gu Siyuan slipped his arms under Xie Qingxiao’s armpits and lifted him up effortlessly, just like holding a child.

Although Xie Qingxiao seemed lethargic just moments ago, he now responded quickly, wrapping his long legs around Gu Siyuan’s waist and his arms tightly around his neck.

Gu Siyuan adjusted his hold and carried him like this towards the bathroom.

“Feels like carrying a little baby,” Xie Qingxiao couldn’t help but sweetly laugh, lowering his head to kiss Gu Siyuan’s cheek, playfully asking, “Boss, am I your baby?”

Gu Siyuan walked into the bathroom, grabbed a pair of slippers from the rack, and set Xie Qingxiao down by the sink, his gaze scanning the prepared toothpaste and toiletries.

In a calm tone, he replied, “Yes, you are my baby who still needs care.”

Upon hearing this, Xie Qingxiao not only didn’t feel ashamed but his smile brightened even more.

He turned back, embracing Gu Siyuan’s waist and nuzzling his cheek against his solid chest. “Yes, I can’t manage without you. I wouldn’t survive.”

Despite this display, there was hardly any difference in front of the owner’s face, his guts displayed in front of him.

Gu Siyuan, however, was a cold-hearted character who squeezed his neck and drew him out of bed. “Brush your teeth, wash your face, and I’ll go to the kitchen to see the congee.”

“Okay.” Xie Qingxiao murmured.

Watching Gu Siyuan’s back disappear into the kitchen, Xie Qingxiao slowly turned around and picked up a toothbrush from the washstand.

After washing his face, Xie Qingxiao stood on tiptoe and rummaged through the cabinet on the wall, finding several bottles of men’s skincare lotion. He applied them generously to his face.

He brought his hand to his nose and smiled triumphantly. This was Gu Siyuan’s scent.

Just thinking about it made him so blissful he almost swooned. He immediately turned and walked towards the kitchen.

Gu Siyuan stood at the cooking counter, wearing a light green apron around his waist.

He poured the congee from the clay pot into two large bowls, then took out butter, steaks, eggs, and a pack of frozen buns from the nearby fridge.

The frozen buns and eggs went into the steamer first.

The butter sizzled in the frying pan, soon emitting a delightful aroma. Gu Siyuan threw in two pieces of steak, and a faint smoke rose from the pan, accentuating the charm of his deep, stern eyes.

When Xie Qingxiao arrived, this was the scene he saw.

Almost involuntarily, he walked up, hugged Gu Siyuan’s waist from behind, and pressed his cheek against his broad back.

Gu Siyuan didn’t need to turn around to know who it was, nor did he intend to turn around.

The steak was specially tenderized, so a brief searing was all it needed. Gu Siyuan focused entirely on the pan, flipping the steaks gently at the right moment.

Before long, both sides of the meat turned from bright red to a pleasing brown, filling the kitchen with the combined fragrance of the special marinade and butter.

Xie Qingxiao sniffed contentedly.

Then, unable to resist, he nuzzled against Gu Siyuan’s shoulder.

Hmm, Gu Siyuan’s scent was even more enticing than the steak.

Gu Siyuan went to fetch plates for the steaks, and Xie Qingxiao clung to him like a koala, following him wherever he went. He maintained this pose without changing.

Gu Siyuan didn’t mind indulging this playful child.

It wasn’t until the steamer made a noise that he gently patted the hands tightly wrapped around his waist. “Go grab a plate and take out the buns and eggs inside.”

Reluctantly, Xie Qingxiao loosened his grip.

He closed the steamer, picked up the plate, and turned around. He saw Gu Siyuan’s tall figure standing by the sink in the kitchen, washing dishes and cleaning the stove.

Suddenly, it all felt like a dream.

Heh heh…

In just one short day, not only did he and Gu Siyuan confirm their relationship and fall in love, but they also went on a dinner date, watched a movie, made love together, and now in the morning, Gu Siyuan was making him breakfast. They were squeezed together in the kitchen…

Gu Siyuan turned around, meeting his gaze. “Stop daydreaming. Take the food to the dining room.”

“Oh.” Xie Qingxiao nodded obediently.

Gu Siyuan carried the steaks and congee, following him out.

Xie Qingxiao couldn’t wait to enjoy the breakfast Gu Siyuan had made, but as soon as his butt hit the chair, he almost jumped up.

“Ah…”

Damn, was the aftermath of last night that severe?

Gu Siyuan furrowed his brow and turned to go to the living room to fetch two sofa cushions.

Xie Qingxiao reacted quickly and grabbed him.

Gu Siyuan raised an eyebrow. “What’s wrong?”

Xie Qingxiao blinked. “Where are you going?”

Gu Siyuan: “Go get a couple of cushions for yourself.”

Xie Qingxiao immediately grinned widely, revealing a neat row of teeth: “No need.”

Gu Siyuan frowned, gazing at him for a moment before his eyes narrowed in understanding.

He sat down on a nearby chair, lifted his hand in a beckoning gesture, and in a low voice, said, “Come here.”

“Hehe…” Xie Qingxiao immediately chuckled in a self-satisfied manner, and with a playful bounce, plopped down onto Gu Siyuan’s thigh with a light “pat.”

Gu Siyuan fixed his waist with one hand to prevent him from falling down in his excitement.

Xie Qingxiao twisted his head and kissed his face several times, acting coquettishly and affectionately said, “Boss, I love you to death. How can I love you so much?”

Gu Siyuan was also in a good mood and rarely joked with him, “Hmm, because I’m too good.”

Xie Qingxiao nodded very seriously, as if confirming something, and said, “Yes, you are the best person I’ve ever met. Otherwise, how could I love you so much? I will always love you, forever, until the end of life.”

The corners of Gu Siyuan’s lips curved into an almost imperceptible smile, but he said nothing and reached out to peel a boiled egg for Xie Qingxiao.

Xie Qingxiao reacted and reciprocated by peeling an egg for Gu Siyuan, then excitedly held it up to his mouth.

Gu Siyuan opened his mouth, took a gentle bite, and then reached out to take the tender boiled egg.

Xie Qingxiao was immediately satisfied and, while withdrawing his hand, casually asked, “So dear Boss Gu, what do you think of me? Am I good?”

Gu Siyuan looked down at him and nodded very seriously, “Very good, extremely good.”

Xie Qingxiao instantly beamed with joy and couldn’t help but ask, “Will you also like me, always like me?”

Gu Siyuan put down what he was holding, lifted Xie Qingxiao’s chin, and kissed his forehead, cheeks, and down the bridge of his nose.

His lips brushed against Xie Qingxiao’s ear, his voice sensual and low, “I love you, beyond the end of life.”

Xie Qingxiao’s body shuddered instantly.

In the next second, he tightly wrapped his arms around Gu Siyuan’s neck, almost fiercely pouncing on him, licking and biting his face like a young lion hunting for the first time, unwilling to let go no matter what.

Gu Siyuan, accustomed to being in control, found Xie Qingxiao’s kisses too immature.

He pinched Xie Qingxiao’s chin, turned defense into offense, capturing every bit of his breath.

Xie Qingxiao turned into a puddle of soft mud, only able to move according to his will, struggling to breathe.

After a while, Gu Siyuan slowly let go of him, “Alright, let’s eat first.”

“Mm…” Xie Qingxiao lazily leaned against him, too weak to muster any strength, his voice hoarse, “I want you to feed me.”

Gu Siyuan indulgently agreed, “Okay.”

In the morning, they made do with whatever was in the fridge, so Gu Siyuan made lean meat porridge with vegetables.

They ate while feeding each other, both hungry, devouring almost all the steamed buns, eggs, and steak.

After the meal, they washed the dishes and took out the trash together.

Gu Siyuan then returned to his workaholic nature, holding his computer to read literature and materials.

Today was originally a workday, and according to his usual habits, he would never take leave. So, starting from the morning, his communicator received countless inquiries from colleagues at the research institute.

“Boss, everyone in the research institute’s group was surprised not to see you in the office today. They thought it might be raining red from the sky?”

Xie Qingxiao, peeling fruit and leaning on the sofa, was feeding a piece to Gu Siyuan while checking the communicator.

He was wearing Gu Siyuan’s T-shirt and shorts. Gu Siyuan was a size bigger than him, so Xie Qingxiao tucked the T-shirt’s hem into his shorts, making his waist look even slimmer. His long, straight legs dangled over the edge of the sofa.

When Gu Siyuan looked up to take a break after finishing an article, he saw those slender, long white legs swaying recklessly in front of him.

His eyes darkened, and he said in a deep voice, “Maybe it didn’t rain red from the sky, but the Red Luan star is moving.”

Xie Qingxiao immediately understood the meaning and laughed out loud.

After a while, he rubbed his head against Gu Siyuan’s thigh and sighed, “I really wish time could stop, just live like this for a lifetime.”

Gu Siyuan raised an eyebrow and looked down at Xie Qingxiao lying beside him, “No need for time to stop, we can live like this for a lifetime. Do you want to move in with me?”

Xie Qingxiao’s eyes widened as he looked up at him, momentarily stunned.

Gu Siyuan also fell silent for a moment, a bit puzzled, “You don’t want to?”

“Yes, yes.”

Xie Qingxiao immediately grabbed his arm tightly, nodding vigorously, his beautiful eyes shining brightly as if he had been looking forward to it for a long time.

His voice trembled slightly, “I… I’m so happy I’m going stupid.”

Gu Siyuan looked at his bright eyes and gently smiled, suddenly wanting to kiss Xie Qingxiao.

Thinking so, he did so. He reached out and hugged him, lowered his head, and lightly touched Xie Qingxiao’s thin eyelids, then naturally moved down to kiss his lips.

……

Gu Siyuan was always very efficient. In the morning, he mentioned Xie Qingxiao moving in with him.

So, that evening, he drove with Xie Qingxiao to Zhuang’s villa.

When they arrived at the villa, the community was just lighting up.

It seemed they had just finished dinner. In the living room, the three members of the Zhuang family sat neatly, though their faces didn’t look very good.

They listened to the nanny greeting at the door and saw Xie Qingxiao and Gu Siyuan walking in, their expressions varied.

Zhuang Hongkai was the first to stand up, looking pleased, “Professor Gu, Qingxiao…”

Xie Qingxiao ignored him.

Gu Siyuan coldly nodded slightly, “Mr. Zhuang.”

Zhuang Hongkai was immediately flattered, “Professor Gu, why did you come at this time? Have you had dinner?”

Because of what happened on the engagement day, he had completely offended the Cheng family. Today, he had just gone to the company and found that many projects had problems. Now the only person who could help him through the crisis was Gu Siyuan.

Xie Qingxiao saw through Zhuang Hongkai’s intentions at a glance, feeling both disgusted and embarrassed.

He grabbed Gu Siyuan’s wrist impatiently and said, “What’s there to talk about? Come upstairs with me.”

“Okay.” Gu Siyuan nodded indulgently, interlacing their fingers and turned to Zhuang Hongkai, “Sorry.”

The three members of the Zhuang family watched this scene and seemed to understand something from their interaction.

Zhuang Hongkai blocked Xie Qingxiao’s way upstairs and said with a complex expression, “Qingxiao, you… you and Professor Gu, what’s your relationship?”

Xie Qingxiao sneered, raising their interlaced hands and shaking them, “Can’t you see it? Mr. Zhuang, I didn’t expect you to be such an innocent person.”

“You… what kind of attitude is that? I’m your father, and this is how you talk to me?” Zhuang Hongkai’s finger trembled as he pointed at him.

Despite having been rebuffed by Xie Qingxiao countless times lately, he still found it hard not to get angry each time.

Xie Qingxiao blinked, “Really, you’re my dad? Then why is my last name Xie, and yours is Zhuang? I must be the child of Old Xie from next door.”

At this, Zhuang Hongkai nearly fainted with anger.

Gu Siyuan found Xie Qingxiao’s sharp tongue amusing, wondering who he had learned it from.

Meeting Gu Siyuan’s gaze, Xie Qingxiao immediately puffed his cheeks playfully.

The two bypassed Zhuang Hongkai smoothly and went upstairs.

Xie Qingxiao had never intended to stay long at the Zhuang family’s place, so there wasn’t much in the upstairs room worth taking apart from some daily clothes and items.

After packing a large suitcase and a big backpack, they had almost cleared everything.

The things he truly valued were locked in his office at the research institute.

So, in less than twenty minutes, the two were back downstairs.

Walking down the stairs from the second floor, Xie Qingxiao felt a rare sense of superiority as the three members of the Zhuang family looked up at him in unison.

He curled his lips and sneered.

“Professor Gu, Qingxiao, what are you doing?” Zhuang Hongkai tried to ignore Xie Qingxiao’s earlier expression and asked awkwardly.

Gu Siyuan, carrying the suitcase in one hand and holding Xie Qingxiao’s hand with the other, walked down, “Qingxiao and I are in a relationship. We’ve decided to live together. Qingxiao will be living with me from now on.”

Zhuang Hongkai’s expression changed slightly, as if his suspicions had been confirmed.

Mrs. Zhuang, on the other hand, was immediately furious and yelled at Xie Qingxiao, “Xie Qingxiao, how can you do this? How can you steal someone your brother likes?”

Xie Qingxiao rolled his eyes, “If you’re sick, get treatment. Zhuang Ming got engaged to someone else just yesterday, claiming to have feelings for our Boss Gu. What nonsense is that? Does Boss Gu have anything to do with him? Even if he truly likes Boss Gu, so what? There are countless people who like our Boss Gu, enough to form a line from the Southern Hemisphere to the Northern Hemisphere. What does he count for?”

Gu Siyuan found Xie Qingxiao’s aggressive demeanor quite endearing and couldn’t help but lightly squeeze their interlaced fingers.

Xie Qingxiao, in the middle of his rant, lost some momentum at this sudden gesture.

He glared at Gu Siyuan in embarrassment.

Turning back to scold Mrs. Zhuang, he said sharply, “It’s late. If you really love dreaming, go to bed and sleep. Stop acting crazy in front of normal people.”

Mrs. Zhuang was nearly in tears from the harsh words.

Zhuang Ming glanced at his mother, then looked resentfully at Xie Qingxiao before finally addressing Gu Siyuan, “Professor Gu, look at Xie Qingxiao. He openly insults his biological father and stepmother in front of you. How can such a vulgar and lowly person be worthy of you? Don’t be deceived by his appearance.”

Xie Qingxiao was shocked, “…”

There are actually idiots like this in the world.

Gu Siyuan hadn’t expected the situation to escalate to him and couldn’t help but laugh.

Zhuang Ming was momentarily stunned.

Gu Siyuan, usually stern and serious, rarely showed such a faint smile.

Naturally, it was like flowers blooming on ice, new green on snow peaks, unspeakably mysterious and charming.

In the past, when his father wanted him to marry Gu Siyuan, he had also longed for and admired him. But later, Gu Siyuan was so seriously injured and declared almost permanently unconscious. How could he, so young, be content?

But now…

Gu Siyuan, unaware of these subtle thoughts, looked coldly at Zhuang Ming, as if the previous smile had never existed.

“Xie Qingxiao is not vulgar or lowly. If anyone is, it’s me. As you said, I’m just captivated by Xie Qingxiao’s beautiful face. Is there a problem with that?”

Zhuang Ming widened his eyes in disbelief, “Professor, how can you say that?”

Gu Siyuan remained indifferent, “I certainly can, as long as I like it.”

He usually avoided arguments, but it was different for Xie Qingxiao.

Hearing this, Xie Qingxiao couldn’t help but laugh and, holding Gu Siyuan’s hand, said, “We’re a pair of lowly spouses, a perfect match.”

Zhuang Hongkai, seeing the two so indifferent to the world, bit his lip, knowing that some things required a change in strategy.

He put on a stern face and scolded Mrs. Zhuang and Zhuang Ming, “You two, stop talking nonsense. Since Professor Gu and Qingxiao are in love, it’s naturally a good thing. We’re all family. What’s all this arguing for?”

Mrs. Zhuang and Zhuang Ming turned pale, staring at him in disbelief, “Husband (Dad)!”

Zhuang Hongkai ignored them and looked at Xie Qingxiao and Gu Siyuan with a smile, “Family should talk things out. Don’t be angry with them. I’ll…”

“Pfft… Mr. Zhuang, you should be an actor!” Xie Qingxiao couldn’t help but sneer.

Zhuang Hongkai’s mouth twitched, “Qingxiao…”

Xie Qingxiao waved his hand, “Alright, stop putting on an act in front of me. Who doesn’t know who here? What family affection are you pretending now? I returned to the Zhuang family just to make you unhappy. You hate me but endure it without kicking me out because I work at Boss Gu’s research institute, right? What kind of affection is that? Isn’t it disgusting?”

With all pretenses torn down, Zhuang Hongkai could no longer tolerate it and said, “Qingxiao, we are biological father and son. No matter what, we are family. When I pass away, you will have a share of the family estate.”

“Family, biological father and son?” Xie Qingxiao sneered. “It’s a pity that there’s more than just you in this family. Otherwise, how did I get lost back then?”

Zhuang Hongkai gritted his teeth, “Let bygones be bygones…”

Gu Siyuan interrupted, “Mr. Zhuang, if we don’t talk about the past, then how about discussing the present?”

Zhuang Hongkai immediately looked at Gu Siyuan, “Professor, how do you want to talk about it?”

Gu Siyuan said calmly, “As for your Zhuang family company, I don’t care about it at all. But if it completely belongs to Qingxiao, then I am willing to offer some help. Remember, it must completely belong to him.”

The three members of the Zhuang family were all stunned.

This was too much. If they got nothing, what was the point?

Xie Qingxiao tilted his head, looking innocent, “Either it’s all mine, or if it’s not mine, not only do I not care if it lives or dies, but I will also actively crush it.”

The two left the villa, got into the car, and drove home.

Xie Qingxiao straddled Gu Siyuan, wrapping his arms around his neck and kissing him nonstop, “You’re so good to me, I don’t even know how to love you more.”

Gu Siyuan ignored his sweet talk, taking the initiative as usual, kissing him until he was out of breath.

After a long time, Xie Qingxiao leaned against Gu Siyuan, laughing, “Are we kiss monsters? Do we have to kiss at least a hundred times a day?”

Gu Siyuan hummed in response, “You don’t like it?”

Xie Qingxiao immediately shook his head, “I love it. I’m afraid I’ll get used to it if we do it less in the future.”

Gu Siyuan casually suggested, “Then you can set a frequency now. In the future, we can strictly follow the kissing rules at specified times. No one is allowed to break them.”

“Haha… Dear Boss Gu, do you think this is academic research?”

Xie Qingxiao couldn’t help but laugh.

However, as he laughed, he suddenly thought this method seemed pretty good.

He immediately leaned over, nudging Gu Siyuan, “Dear Boss Gu, are you serious? I think it’s a good idea. You can’t go back on your word.”

Gu Siyuan nodded, “Hmm.”

For him, this was also a benefit. Although it was a bit childish, adhering to it wouldn’t hurt.

Xie Qingxiao was instantly full of energy. Leaning on Gu Siyuan’s shoulder, he mumbled, “Considering we have to work and can’t stay home all day like today, we don’t really need to kiss a hundred times a day. How about once every hour? Twenty-four times a day seems enough?”

As he spoke, he touched his lips.

He actually liked kissing on the cheek.

But Gu Siyuan always preferred deep kisses. However, every time after kissing, his lips would become slightly red and even swollen. If they were at the research institute, too many kisses would be inconvenient. Sneaking a kiss once every hour would be perfect for him and Boss Gu.

Watching him seriously calculate, Gu Siyuan teased, “That works, but sometimes I travel for work and won’t be at home or the institute. Also, what about when we are asleep at night?”

Hearing this, Xie Qingxiao couldn’t help but feel troubled.

He looked at Gu Siyuan, “Then what do you suggest?”

Gu Siyuan chuckled softly and sincerely suggested, “How about we kiss three times every hour whenever we are together?”

“Deal!” Xie Qingxiao responded loudly.
