FIMA Ch162: Becoming Feminine

Gu Siyuan could tell at a glance that something was wrong with Xie Xueyi.

His sword-like brows drew together as he raised a hand to touch Xie Xueyi’s slightly flushed cheek. “How did you get this hot?”

In a xianxia world, people naturally did not get things like fever or colds.

“Haa…”

Xie Xueyi suddenly let out a long breath, then grabbed hold of his hand.

Gu Siyuan’s cool palm pressed against his warm, reddened cheek, bringing with it a different kind of comfort and relief.

As though he had found his savior, Xie Xueyi immediately burrowed all the way into Gu Siyuan’s arms. “Gege, I’m so hot. Gege…”

Like an injured little lion, he rubbed against him restlessly, and there was an unspeakable grievance in his tone.

“Gege, I feel awful…”

Gu Siyuan’s palm slowly moved downward, from his cheek to his neck. Xie Xueyi really was burning all over.

Feeling that coolness traveling along his skin, Xie Xueyi could not help tilting his head up, his delicate little Adam’s apple sliding along his pale slender throat.

In a low voice, he called, “Gege… more. A little more. It feels so good…”

If Gu Siyuan still did not understand what had happened by this point, then he would be the greatest fool under heaven.

He remembered the handful of pale red powder Deng Huan had flung before his death.

As expected of Hehuan Sect…

Just as he was thinking this, he noticed that the clothing at his chest had been pulled open.

Xie Xueyi had both hands tightly wrapped around his neck, his body rubbing constantly against him like some young beast driven to desperation. The coolness of one palm was not enough, the coolness of a neck was not enough—he needed more to ease the torment.

Gu Siyuan’s large hand caught Xie Xueyi’s chin and forced him to look up. “Xie-shidi, are you taking this chance to act like a hooligan…”

“Gege, help me. I feel so bad.”

Xie Xueyi’s actions were outrageously bold, his whole body sprawled across him, his lips pressing messy kisses over his face. Yet his voice was tinged with grievance and even a hint of tears, as though he were the one being bullied.

It was as if his beautiful eyes might start raining in the very next moment.

Looking at how pitiful and adorable he was, Gu Siyuan thought to himself: He must also have been affected by that powder Deng Huan threw,

otherwise why would he also feel as though his whole body was heating up?

The strength of Gu Siyuan’s arm around the person in his lap tightened slightly, and in a low voice he asked gently, “Xie-shidi, how do you want me to help?”

Xie Xueyi glared at him, feeling only that this man was awful to the extreme. Even now, he was still asking questions. Annoying to death.

With a sudden burst of resolve, he shoved Gu Siyuan flat to the ground, straddled him, and said viciously, “Hmph. Anyway, you just need to lie still and not move. I won’t hurt you. Just help me like this.”

“…” Gu Siyuan.

He really should not have wasted words with him.

“Help you, then. Fine. I’ll help you properly.”

Gu Siyuan reached out and wiped away the tears at the corners of Xie Xueyi’s eyes. With a sweep of his robe, he reinforced the cave’s defensive array, then took out a wide pelt from some unknown spirit beast from his storage ring. In the next moment, he rolled over and pinned Xie Xueyi beneath him, reversing their positions.

“…” Xie Xueyi lay atop the fluffy pelt.

Something about this felt off.

The sun inside the secret realm set and rose, rose and set.

No one knew how many cycles passed, or how much time went by.

Only then did all the movement within the cave gradually subside.

Xie Xueyi lay facedown on the fur mat, his whole face buried in the soft fluffy pelt, looking all the more heartbreakingly lovable.

When Gu Siyuan reached out to gather him into his arms and stroked his black hair, he asked, “What is it?”

Xie Xueyi slowly turned his head to one side and sighed at him. “I think this is wrong.”

Gu Siyuan caught his chin in one hand, danger glinting in his eyes. “Do you regret it?”

Xie Xueyi stared blankly ahead and said faintly, “I was obviously supposed to be the one on top.”

The grip on his chin loosened a little, and Gu Siyuan’s thumb gently rubbed over his bright red lips as he said, half amused and half helpless, “I’m very curious—how exactly did you arrive at that mistaken belief?”

The moment that topic came up, Xie Xueyi became animated.

He said with complete confidence, “How is it mistaken? I’m this good-looking, this manly, this tall, and that part of me is big too. No matter how you look at it, I obviously should be—”

Gu Siyuan pinched his face and forced him to meet his eyes. “Everything you just said seems to apply to me too. And besides, do you think you’re… taller than me? Bigger than me?”

Xie Xueyi paused.

After what he had just experienced personally, it did seem like the man before him was a little stronger than he was.

Gu Siyuan stroked his head lightly, warm breath brushing at his ear, his voice low and magnetic to the extreme. “But really, none of that is what matters. What matters is whether you enjoyed it. Isn’t that what’s most important? What do you think?”

Xie Xueyi’s body trembled a little, and the pale toes pressed into the soft fur beneath him curled involuntarily. “Mm. It did feel good.”

The corner of Gu Siyuan’s lips lifted. “Then why worry about all the rest? Just like before—no, it’ll be even better than that. Better in the future too.”

The slender pale wrist covered in marks suddenly looped around his neck, and Xie Xueyi smiled brightly, mumbling at his ear, “But… why wait for the future? I think right now is already fine…”

Gu Siyuan pressed him down at once. “What a little demon.”

Cultivators had absurdly good stamina, and they did not need food.

The two of them carried on inside that cave, turning heaven and earth upside down for who knew how long.

Before they finally left, Xie Xueyi first took out the storage ring he had obtained from Ji Jinghuan’s severed hand and dumped out everything inside.

A while later, his eyes widened in surprise, and he exclaimed, “This kid really has a lot of good stuff. He’s even luckier than we are. Gege, no wonder you said murder and arson really do earn a golden belt…”

Gu Siyuan glanced over indifferently. “Mm. They’re all yours now.”

Xie Xueyi grinned. “What’s mine is yours.”

Excitedly, he began sorting everything into his own storage ring, while Gu Siyuan’s gaze settled on a dragon egg that was white with faint streaks of gold running through it.

Xie Xueyi noticed at once. “Eh, gege, this egg doesn’t seem quite the same as the one Ji Jinghuan threw at us earlier to shift disaster…”

Just as he was speaking, a crisp crack sounded, and a shallow fissure opened across the shell.

Startled, Xie Xueyi said, “Was my voice too loud? Did I scare it into cracking?”

Gu Siyuan could not help but laugh. “What nonsense are you thinking? It should just be time for it to hatch.”

Sure enough, in the next moment the two of them watched as a tiny, slender pale figure wriggled out from inside. Then came a string of little crack-crack sounds, almost as if it were chewing broad beans, as it devoured the entire eggshell clean.

Gu Siyuan and Xie Xueyi watched with great enjoyment.

After finishing the shell, the little dragon stretched lazily, its mung-bean-sized eyes looking the two of them over. Then, obeying pure instinct to seek advantage and avoid danger, it leapt onto Xie Xueyi’s wrist and coiled itself there.

Delighted, Xie Xueyi gently stroked it a few times with his slender fingers, feeling those tender, smooth little scales.

“Gege, is this little thing going to stay with us from now on?”

Gu Siyuan nodded. “Most likely. Didn’t it crawl onto you on its own?”

Xie Xueyi blinked, unable to hide the pride in his voice. “But it doesn’t even know me. Why climb onto me?”

Gu Siyuan answered casually, “Because you look harmless. You look gentle. Maternal aura?”

Though smug, Xie Xueyi still found it hard to imagine those words being connected to himself.

Then, thinking of something, he suddenly turned and glared viciously at Gu Siyuan.

Gu Siyuan narrowed his eyes. “What is it?”

After hesitating for a long time, Xie Xueyi finally let out a pained sigh. “Gege, my whole life is ruined. It’s all because of you. Back when I was in the demonic path, I saw this kind of thing too—some men were obviously very manly before, but after they got fucked, they turned all soft and delicate and girlish. Is that what I’ve become now? I’m a full seven-foot man, and now I’m going to turn into a sissy…”

“…” Gu Siyuan.

Even with Gu Siyuan’s ever-changing mind, he could not see through that line of thought.

Besides, had he not already been delicate enough before?

He laughed softly and reached out to draw Xie Xueyi into his arms.

Xie Xueyi leaned against him, feeling the faint vibration in his chest when he laughed, and sighed. He only felt that this man completely failed to understand the sorrow in his heart.

After thinking about it, he wrapped his arms around Gu Siyuan’s neck in return and planted another kiss on his face.

Hmph. Since he was going to become girly anyway, then a few more kisses would not matter. He had to make it worth his while…

After resting and recovering for half a day, Gu Siyuan and Xie Xueyi continued toward the inner region of the secret realm.

Along the road, they picked up some more rare resources and also rescued a number of fellow disciples from Taixuan Immortal Sect.

As for the little ice dragon’s food, they did not need to search for any specially. After Gu Siyuan had killed the cold flood-dragon at the cold pool, he had stored away the corpse, and for the little ice dragon, that counted as top-grade nourishment.

Because of that unexpected episode, the two of them had sweetly delayed several days in the cave, so by the time they entered the true inner region of the secret realm, they were already somewhat late.

They had only just reached the central area when, in the distance, there suddenly came a tremendous boom.

Light burst outward in dazzling brilliance, and at first glance it looked almost like a mirage.

The Xianling Ancient City had appeared.

Xie Xueyi’s face instantly lit up with excitement. “Gege, let’s go, hurry! The good stuff can’t all get snatched away by others…”

“Alright.” Gu Siyuan nodded.

Though it was called an ancient city, the Xianling Ancient City was actually an enormous complex of palace-like buildings.

The two rushed swiftly to the palace gates. They had expected to see everyone filing inside, but instead discovered that in front of the hundred-tier staircase leading up to the entrance, there were circles upon circles of people crowded around it—yet not a single one of them dared force their way in.

Could it be that the four great immortal sects were clearing the area?

“What’s going on? What happened? Why’s everyone just standing around here?”

Everyone had been staring intently at the palace entrance, but behind them there suddenly rang out a crisp young male voice.

At once, one warm-hearted cultivator turned back and said, “There’s a formation and traps on those steps. Several people already died trying to rush through just now. We’re figuring out how to get past.”

“Oh, thank you!” Xie Xueyi patted him on the shoulder.

The man smiled and was just about to say not to mention it, but the moment he got a proper look at Xie Xueyi and the Gu Siyuan beside him, he suddenly let out a scream. “Ah!”

Xie Xueyi was startled by him. “What’s wrong, brother?”

The man pointed at Gu Siyuan. “Gu… Gu… Gu young hero…”

Xie Xueyi nodded and smiled lightly. “N-no… no need to be scared. Gu… Gu… Gu young hero is a good person.”

Gu Siyuan shot him a cold sidelong glance. “Being naughty again.”

Xie Xueyi bared his teeth, and the smile on his face only became brighter.

The cultivator who had spoken first froze for a moment, then immediately realized Xie Xueyi had been teasing him on purpose, and relaxed with a laugh.

Because of this little commotion, the surrounding crowd also noticed the two of them. So Gu Siyuan simply brought Xie Xueyi inward.

Wherever they passed, everyone automatically and consciously stepped back, opening up a neat and unobstructed path.

By the time they reached the base of the staircase, all the people gathered there were familiar faces.

Other than the heirs of the three great sects—Yin Xiaojue, Zhao Tianzong, and the rest—who were waiting to challenge the formation, there was also Yu Haofeng of the Demon Sect, as well as one-rank-below geniuses like Yan Miaomiao and Yi Qianqiu.

But Ji Jinghuan and Xiao Xinchi were nowhere to be seen. The two of them were probably intentionally avoiding him.

All eyes turned toward him, and for reasons of their own, people called out those same words:

“Gu Siyuan.”

Gu Siyuan only nodded to Yan Miaomiao and Yi Qianqiu. “Has everything gone smoothly?”

The two smiled. “Thanks to Da Shixiong’s blessing.”

After that, the two voluntarily explained to Gu Siyuan what they had discovered about the formation on the staircase.

Because of the experience of those few reckless fools who had already died testing it, everyone now understood a little more about the array. It was a classic guarding formation, filled throughout with countless fine sword qi currents, while ancient deadly poison spurted outward from time to time.

The moment someone set foot on the staircase, if they were not shredded to pieces by sword qi, they would be corroded into a heap of white bones by the poisonous liquid.

Just then, whether because Gu Siyuan had arrived or not, Yin Xiaojue, Zhao Tianzong, and the others—who had previously still been waiting—suddenly moved and headed inside.

These few all possessed profound cultivation, and each used their own methods, passing through the hundred steps almost without so much as brushing a leaf against their clothes. Very quickly they disappeared through the palace gates, making it all seem strangely effortless.

Seeing this, many of the onlookers immediately became eager to try.

Maybe the formation was not nearly as deadly and difficult as everyone thought?

Yet the deaths of the next three cultivators in a row caused the surrounding crowd’s expressions to change immediately.

At once, everyone understood again: the formation was not weak at all. It was only that those few were too strong.

Gu Siyuan turned to Yi Qianqiu and the other two. “I’m going in.”

As he spoke, he wrapped one arm around Xie Xueyi’s waist and lightly tapped his toe, soaring up the staircase like a flying swan.

Yan Miaomiao changed color. “Da Shixiong, if two people go up, the attacks will double!”

“Heavens…”

The watching crowd let out a collective gasp.

Had he gone mad? It was already difficult enough for one person to pass, and now he was taking two people up there to die?

Even if you were Gu Siyuan, you still could not break the laws of nature like this, could you?

Gu Siyuan and Xie Xueyi, being within the formation itself, naturally felt its danger much more clearly.

The moment they stepped onto the first stair, overwhelming killing intent rushed at them head-on.

But around the two of them, Gu Siyuan’s powerful sword qi had long since formed a tight protective field. Whether it was the countless fine sword qi currents or the continuous blasts of poison, before any of it could even come near, it was shredded into dust and ash by that surging starlit sword intent, leaving nothing behind.

In no more than an instant, Gu Siyuan had already taken Xie Xueyi across the full hundred steps without pausing even once, landing before the palace gates.

At the foot of the staircase, the crowd watching below fell into silence.

Well then. Since it was Gu Siyuan, perhaps violating the laws of nature was… acceptable after all.

Still, one could not help thinking—why hadn’t they been born with such a good-looking face? Why hadn’t they gotten the chance to cling to such a thigh? Otherwise, maybe they could have gone in too.
