PE Ch35: Distant Closeness

In an instant, Pan Yinchuan recalled his previous conversation with Xiu Ling—

“Do you know why Mr. Huai doesn’t take off his pants when he’s… um, in bed with me?”

“You don’t know? Mr. Huai has a mechanical prosthetic leg… um, it also shows he doesn’t really like you.”

Pan Yinchuan could understand why Xiu Ling said that.

Not revealing the mechanical prosthesis wasn’t because Huai Yu was shy.

It was a form of high-handed disregard.

I am indifferent to you, and you cannot see my secrets. We will never truly enter each other’s worlds, thus limiting our relationship to mere physicality.

But now?

Pan Yinchuan couldn’t help but shiver again.

“Cold?” Huai Yu said, clasping his waist and lifting him a bit.

Pan Yinchuan’s thoughts quickly snapped back to reality, and he instinctively nodded.

“It will be fine once the heating is on,” Huai Yu said in a low voice.

I thought you would say, bear with it.

But Pan Yinchuan soon realized that while the words were refined, the actions remained the same.

Huai Yu held him tightly, with no intention of letting go.

The Alpha pulled away his belt, and the bathrobe immediately hung loosely.

Even colder.

Goosebumps quickly spread all over Pan Yinchuan’s body.

Huai Yu gently stroked his back, then lifted him and carried him towards the large bed.

Fortunately, it was to the bed; otherwise, it would have been very uncomfortable.

Pan Yinchuan thought.

Huai Yu pressed him onto the bed and swiftly removed his bathrobe. Just as Pan Yinchuan couldn’t help curling up, Huai Yu supported his waist and began… to dress him???

Huh???

Pan Yinchuan struggled twice, trying to get up.

Huai Yu said softly, “Don’t move.”

Pan Yinchuan had no choice but to stiffen and stay still.

The Alpha’s movements were surprisingly gentle. Though this gentleness puzzled Pan Yinchuan.

After a long three minutes.

Pan Yinchuan was fully dressed by Huai Yu.

Fully… dressed.

This was too strange—Mr. Huai stooping to dress him.

Suddenly, he didn’t want to sleep with him anymore?

“Done,” Huai Yu said, withdrawing his hands.

Pan Yinchuan sat up blankly, propping himself on the edge of the bed, and then noticed a large mirror opposite.

The mirror clearly reflected his current appearance.

Inside was a white tennis shirt with the topmost button fastened, a black-and-white striped sports jacket outside, and matching black-and-white striped pants below.

Too familiar!

Isn’t this his high school uniform?

Huai Yu stood by his side, also staring at his reflection in the mirror, saying, “Your school’s uniform design is quite good.”

It really is the school uniform!

Back then, his classmates all disliked this thing, saying the jacket was big and bulky, and the colors were dull, not at all bright.

But Pan Yinchuan was thin, with a youthful look still evident in his eyes.

Once dressed in the uniform, he didn’t look much different from his senior year. The black and white colors, though dull, under the light made his skin look excessively pale, like porcelain.

“Very good-looking,” Huai Yu said in a low voice, his arm encircling his waist, with his hand soon slipping under the wide hem of the jacket, intimately pressing against his waist.

“Were you like this in high school?” Huai Yu’s voice sounded right next to his ear, as if he could kiss his earlobe with a slight move.

Pan Yinchuan instinctively shivered and squeezed out a sound: “…Mm.”

As soon as the words fell, Pan Yinchuan was pushed down again. Different from before… this time he was neatly dressed, with only his pants pulled down a bit.

The Alpha immediately pressed down on him.

The cold and hard mechanical prosthesis pressed tightly against him.

The excessive heat and chilling coolness engulfed him together.

Alright, it’s fine; it’s still the same Mr. Huai.

Pan Yinchuan suddenly woke up.

The curtains were tightly drawn, and the room was pitch black, making it hard to tell whether it was day or night, and even more disoriented about where he was.

Thinking of the new habit he had developed recently, he instinctively reached out to touch the spot beside him.

It was cold.

Not here?

But this was more like Mr. Huai’s style.

Pan Yinchuan lifted the quilt, got out of bed, and was about to fumble for the switch. But as soon as his foot touched the ground, a ring of lights lit up around the bed.

It turned out to be sensor lights.

This was convenient for him; he didn’t have to fumble around in the dark like before.

“Are you awake?” a servant’s voice suddenly came from outside the door.

They probably saw the light through the door crack.

“Mm, come in,” Pan Yinchuan raised his voice.

The servant pushed the door open and turned on the main light in the room, filling every corner with bright light, making Pan Yinchuan squint his eyes.

“Sorry, I’ll lower the brightness a bit.”

“It’s okay, no need, I’ll get used to it,” Pan Yinchuan felt the other was being too cautious, but there was no need; they were all just workers, and he wasn’t more noble just because he slept with the boss.

After saying this, Pan Yinchuan walked unsteadily into the bathroom.

When he came out after washing up, breakfast was already laid out on the table.

Seeing him come out, the servant spoke before he could ask, “Sir went back to Central City early in the morning.”

No surprise, he had slept all day again.

Pan Yinchuan was now very composed, not blushing or feeling awkward in front of the servants anymore.

He sat down, took a spoon to drink porridge, and asked curiously, “Sir went back to Central City? So, I’m living here alone?”

The servant smiled and said, “We are here too. You are very safe here. After you finish your breakfast, I can show you around.”

Pan Yinchuan nodded and thought about it. Others were rushing to Ros State because of the gene editor, but Huai Yu returned to Central City, obviously having bigger plans…

But even so, Huai Yu had to sleep with him before leaving.

Pan Yinchuan was speechless.

“Swish,” the servant drew open the curtains, letting the sunset’s glow in. Someone else came in with flowers in the twilight, placing them by the bedside and the table, adding a sense of ceremony.

After breakfast, the servants took him outside, leading him up to a small building. Looking out from there, he saw high walls extending from both sides of the building, enclosing the entire estate.

Pan Yinchuan suddenly realized… isn’t this a fort? Set up some machine guns and cannons, and it could be defended.

Pan Yinchuan was speechless.

No wonder they emphasized its safety repeatedly.

For Yu Jia’an to capture him, he would have to dig a tunnel. But considering Huai Yu’s meticulousness and his control over Lunan City, Yu Jia’an would have to start attacking from the neighboring city.

Pan Yinchuan felt reassured.

“Do you want to watch fireworks?” the servant asked again.

“Fireworks? You can watch fireworks here?” Pan Yinchuan was somewhat surprised.

“Of course, there’s a river behind the estate. It’ll freeze over in a few days, and you can skate on it.”

“There’s also a strawberry field nearby; you can pick strawberries yourself.”

Quite a few activities arranged… Pan Yinchuan was a bit stunned.

It was indeed different from before.

In the villa where he first stayed, the servants would take him out for a walk, but it was mainly to keep an eye on him, preventing him from doing anything inappropriate, so he couldn’t wander too far. But back then, after a night with Huai Yu, he would need three nights to recover, leaving him no time to think about whether he was bored.

It felt strange, making Pan Yinchuan think of the palace dramas on TV at home.

He felt like a concubine who had suddenly gained favor.

…Pan Yinchuan shivered at the thought.

He knocked on his temple to push the thoughts away and looked into the distance.

In the distance, overlapping mountains and dense forest shadows were reflected in his eyes. Suddenly, a thought popped into his head—

This place is so remote.

So remote that it felt like there was no one around besides this estate.

“They’re getting the fireworks. We can set them off when it gets darker,” the servant’s voice sounded again.

Pan Yinchuan turned to look. Oh, a table was set up, and a heater was brought over. He slowly sat down by the table, and soon, tea was brewing next to him.

That cold and lonely feeling instantly withdrew from Pan Yinchuan’s body.

Pan Yinchuan sat here watching fireworks all night. After a good night’s sleep, he really went ice skating and picked strawberries.

“If you find it boring, you can also take a helicopter ride, ride horses at the racetrack. Also, the estate’s Border Collie is about to have puppies, if you’re interested, you can go see them. There’s also sledding, ice hockey…”

The servant quickly arranged new activities for him.

Over the next few days, Pan Yinchuan experienced them all.

He leaned back on the sofa, and the servant brought him osmanthus wine and snacks, saying, “Are you going to walk the dogs later?”

“…Yes.”

“The racetrack is set up, would you like to go play?”

Pan Yinchuan reluctantly declined, “Let’s skip that.”

Easy to get used to luxury, hard to go back to frugality.

Calculating on his fingers, it was only a few months until the contract expired.

“Are you afraid of danger? We have specialized coaches here to guide you. We have top-notch supercars like Koenigsegg and SSC for you to choose from. Of course, if you prefer Bugatti, we can arrange a couple more to be shipped over…” The servant coaxed him.

Seemed determined to entertain him well.

But Pan Yinchuan still shook his head.

He didn’t understand cars, and all these things were too distant from him. He didn’t want to mistake what others provided as his own life.

“Are there any books here?” Pan Yinchuan asked.

“Yes, there’s a place specifically for books. What type of books would you like to read? If we don’t have it, we can arrange for someone to procure it.”

“Hmm… advanced nursing.”

The servant was stunned, “You want to read… this?”

“Is it not okay?”

“It’s okay, of course it’s okay.” The servant was just a bit puzzled. With his status, shouldn’t he be reading philosophy, history, poetry collections, and the like?

Pan Yinchuan sat in the attic and read books for several days in a row, feeling that his once out-of-control life was slowly coming back into his own hands.

Reading books was certainly less boring than flying helicopters, skiing, and racing cars.

But this gave him a sense of peace.

After several days of continuous reading, Pan Yinchuan’s phone suddenly rang.

Huh? Calls could actually get through?

Pan Yinchuan picked it up and saw it was his mother.

“Hello,” he quickly answered.

“It’s been chaotic outside lately. Where are you? Are you safe?” his mother asked.

“Um, I’m at a friend’s place.”

“No one is bothering you, right?”

“No.” Not only was no one bothering him, but his life could even be considered luxurious and extravagant.

Thinking that his parents were unaware and still worried about him made him feel uneasy. But he couldn’t tell them the truth.

“Are you two safe?” Pan Yinchuan grabbed his phone and stood up.

The wind outside blew on his face, making the tip of his nose feel chilly.

“We’re very safe.” On the other end, Wang Xiu also dared not tell her son the truth, that she might have been detained by people from the central city.

“Your father and I don’t have much to worry about here, but you must stay hidden. There’s a gene editor causing a commotion outside, and everyone is fighting over it. Old Yu’s son, Yu Jia’an, he didn’t die, he’s the owner of this editor… he… he might come looking for you…” Wang Xiu gently reminded him.

Having already witnessed Yu Jia’an’s madness, Pan Yinchuan pretended not to know and obediently replied, “Okay, Mom, I understand.”

Knowing her son was safe, Wang Xiu hung up the phone.

After hanging up, she couldn’t help but look at the person in front of her and said, “Thank you.”

The other person said, “It’s okay, you could have just spoken directly if you wanted to make a phone call.”

The person who watched them was not as fierce as expected, and even seemed friendly.

They were carefree here, with newspapers to read every day. Apart from not being able to leave the building, their freedom was not restricted.

Now they even specially brought a telephone, asking if they wanted to let their relatives know they were safe.

It really confused Wang Xiu, what were these people aiming for?

“If there are no other calls to make, then we’ll leave first,” the person said.

Wang Xiu nodded.

Pan Yueshan regretted, “I haven’t talked to my son yet.”

Wang Xiu calmly said, “Forget it, in case you accidentally reveal something.”

Pan Yueshan: “Oh…”

The person on the other end took the phone and left, exchanged a glance, and said, “Now Mr. Pan should know he can make outbound calls, right?”

He knew now.

But since his parents were safe, Pan Yinchuan didn’t have any other concerns. He casually threw the phone aside and sat back down to continue reading.

Before his seat even warmed up, the phone rang again.

He crawled over and grabbed the phone, answering with a shout, “Mom.”

“It’s okay to call me uncle, calling me mom is a bit inappropriate,” came Huai Yu’s leisurely voice from the phone.

Pan Yinchuan straightened up immediately. “Mr. Huai.”

“Hmm?”

Pan Yinchuan corrected himself, “Huai Yu.”

There was silence on the other end of the phone.

Pan Yinchuan felt his scalp tingle. He couldn’t possibly want me to call him uncle, right? What kind of new and unique preference does Huai Yu have now?

“How’s this past month been?” Huai Yu’s voice sounded again.

Not as crazy as I feared.

Pan Yinchuan honestly replied, “It’s been very good.”

“…”

“?”

Why is he silent again?

“Is that so? Have you been enjoying yourself?” Huai Yu paused and said, “I thought you might be bored there.”

“Why would I be bored? The people here take very good care of me.” Almost overwhelmed with activities, but fortunately, my will to study is strong.

“That’s good,” said Huai Yu.

The phone fell silent again.

Huai Yu showed no intention of hanging up, but also seemed not to have anything more to say.

So Huai Yu called specifically to inquire if Pan Yinchuan was bored?

Out of politeness, Pan Yinchuan also inquired, “How are things over there?”

“Everything is going smoothly.”

“That’s great.” Pan Yinchuan replied politely.

He also knew that Huai Yu couldn’t tell him more details. So he just exchanged pleasantries.

“Pan Yinchuan, don’t you have anything else to say to me?” Huai Yu asked softly.

This was not an easy question to answer, so Pan Yinchuan decided to respond with a question, “What about you? I’m still waiting for you to talk to me.”

“Throwing the question back, that’s not a good habit.”

Quite unreasonable.

“You made the call, so you should speak first.” Pan Yinchuan wouldn’t budge.

At least give him a sample so he knows what to say next.

Huai Yu: “…”

But he didn’t angrily hang up the phone. After a moment of silence, he lowered his voice and said, “I want to fuck you.”

Pan Yinchuan: “Ahem, ahem, ahem, ahem…”

He coughed violently, leaning against the window frame marked by traces of time.

Huai Yu calmly continued, “You haven’t fucked yet, why are you choking?”

“…” Pan Yinchuan opened his mouth but couldn’t continue. He slowly stood up straight, the cold wind outside hitting his face.

“Are you afraid living there alone?” Huai Yu suddenly resumed a serious tone.

Pan Yinchuan regained his voice, “Other people are also human, why would they be afraid?”

“Alright, now I know you’re living there happily and satisfied.” Huai Yu said lightly.

Pan Yinchuan suddenly lowered his voice, “You’ve been through a lot.”

“Dealing with a bunch of idiots is quite tough… How would you ease my hardships, Pan Yinchuan?”

On the other end of the phone, Beta was unusually not caught off guard.

“Too bad you’re not here with me, otherwise I could help you relax your muscles.” Just finished learning nursing techniques, albeit for relaxing leg muscles of paralyzed patients.

Honestly, Pan Yinchuan was quite eager to give it a try.

“Too bad,” Pan Yinchuan couldn’t help but repeat.

“I need to be in front of you?” On the other end, Huai Yu seemed to shift in his seat, his voice growing deeper, revealing a bit of fatigue, but he was still determined to continue the call with Pan Yinchuan.

He said, “Even then, one night might not be enough to relax.”

Pan Yinchuan: .

That actually makes sense.

“Kiss me.” Huai Yu suddenly said.

Pan Yinchuan almost thought he misheard.

“Do I have to teach you that too?” Huai Yu asked.

He didn’t need to be taught, just a bit bewildered. But within the scope of his duty, Pan Yinchuan moved closer to the phone, “click,” touching his upper lip to his lower lip.

“…”

“…………”

Pan Yinchuan: ?

Why is he silent again?

He licked his lips, thinking if he hung up now, Huai Yu probably wouldn’t fly back to punch him, right?

“What were you doing when you called just now?” Huai Yu made no comment on his “kiss.”

“Reading.”

“Then continue reading.”

“You take care of yourself too, rest well.”

Huai Yu hung up the phone, looking up to see Assistant Zhang holding half of his face.

“Got a kiss?”

“It’s nothing, just a toothache. Don’t worry about me.”

Huai Yu raised his hand and patted his face, saying, “Take your medicine.”

Then he got up and walked briskly towards the door.

Assistant Zhang quickly asked, “Where are you going?”

“Back for a bit.”

Assistant Zhang let out a sigh, “So sore, so sore.”

Being able to sleep was indeed a bit more pleasant. Especially at times like these, coming down from the battlefield with adrenaline still not completely faded, the excitement imprinted with blood and violence in one’s bones needed an outlet.

On Pan Yinchuan’s end, the phone call had disrupted his reading.

He frowned, feeling that Mr. Huai seemed… almost like he was in a romantic relationship with him?

Pan Yinchuan set aside his book and walked out, retrieving the contract from his luggage.

Four bold words on it — “Love Contract.”

If it was put that way, it didn’t seem wrong.

Perhaps it was just a quirk of Mr. Huai…?

Pan Yinchuan closed the contract, casually locking it away in his suitcase, and then went to have dinner without any psychological burden.

After dinner, he went to the rooftop and spent some time looking at the stars through a telescope. Unknowingly, it was already half past ten at night when he returned to his room to sleep.

It could be said that without Huai Yu, his days were very regular and relaxed.

At five seventeen in the morning, the sky was still pitch black, with only a faint moonlight shining through the opened curtains.

Pan Yinchuan instinctively opened his eyes slightly and saw the wall clock.

He caught a glimpse of the moonlight flickering.

He blinked, his vision clearing up a bit— it wasn’t the moonlight flickering, it was the tall figure beside his bed moving.

The person bent down, knees pressing tightly against him, immobilizing him on the bed.

“Huai… Yu,” he murmured in confusion.

“Mm,” Alpha softly responded, then grasped his chin. Before he could fully wake up, Alpha kissed him.

“Now that’s what I call a kiss.” Alpha separated gently, lowering his gaze to look at him.

Huai Yu’s lips were cold, carrying the taste of frost and snow. Pan Yinchuan shivered, instantly fully awake.

He struggled to touch his forehead, “Am I dreaming?”

Huai Yu pressed down on his wrist, pushing it back, restraining him against the headboard.

Huai Yu seemed to smile before saying, “What? Did you dream of me treating you like this?”

“I just didn’t expect you to suddenly come here. Aren’t you supposed to be in the Central City?”

“I’ll fly back tonight.”

Pan Yinchuan was somewhat shocked.

Couldn’t you just sleep nearby in Central City with a Beta?

Huai Yu’s insistence reached an almost bizarre level…

Or maybe he’s very conscious about safety and hygiene, not willing to mess around. Pan Yinchuan thought to himself.

But he could just terminate the contract early and find a better-looking Beta in Central City for a long-term relationship.

Could it be that Huai Yu still values the contract spirit???

“Focus, Pan Yinchuan.” Huai Yu pinched his chin, slightly impatiently, and then pulled off his sleeping pants.

Pan Yinchuan’s thoughts were immediately scattered by the sensation of entry.

The Alpha who hadn’t seen him for a while was unusually aggressive.

Moonlight swayed in Pan Yinchuan’s eyes, becoming more and more intense.

Until a sudden, urgent ringtone sounded from the phone.

Pan Yinchuan was startled.

Huai Yu pressed down on his waist with force, whispering, “Relax.”

As he spoke, Huai Yu reached for the phone and answered it.

How was he supposed to relax?

Pan Yinchuan instinctively tightened his grip.

Huai Yu squeezed his waist lightly and said to the person on the phone, “What is it?”

After listening for a moment, Huai Yu’s brow furrowed slowly, “I see, I’ll fly over tomorrow afternoon to handle it.”

The person on the other end said something else.

Huai Yu patiently listened before hanging up. Without wasting any time, he pressed his fingers against Pan Yinchuan’s mouth to silence him.

Upon hearing the hang-up tone, Pan Yinchuan let out a low breath, unable to help but breathe a bit louder.

But not even half an hour later, Huai Yu’s phone rang again.

Pan Yinchuan: “…”

He pushed Huai Yu lightly, but there was no response.

Alpha remained unchanged, firmly grasping Pan Yinchuan, aggressively finishing a few more thrusts before pulling away to answer the phone.

After that, Huai Yu’s phone didn’t stop ringing.

At least he was focused on answering the phone!

Pan Yinchuan quickly pulled up the blanket.

Continued sleeping.

Not knowing how long he had slept again, the edge of the bed sank. Pan Yinchuan opened his eyes, had Huai Yu finally finished his phone call? Was he preparing to continue sleeping with him?

Huai Yu embraced him, then leaned back on the bed, hoarsely saying, “Go back to sleep.”

After saying that, he also closed his eyes.

Pan Yinchuan: .

Actually, I’m already awake.

But Alpha held him firmly, as if even in his natural sleep, he had to accompany him. Pan Yinchuan struggled but couldn’t break free, so he could only give up and close his eyes.

Luckily, young people sleep well, so he could fall asleep even when forced.

“Would you like something to eat?” The servant’s voice suddenly sounded.

Pan Yinchuan woke up suddenly.

Hmm… Huai Yu was gone again.

He’s really focused, just to sleep with him! Pan Yinchuan clicked his tongue.

Another month passed. During this time, his parents didn’t call again, and Huai Yu didn’t call either.

But one day, while Pan Yinchuan was sitting on the rooftop watching the stars, a hand suddenly reached out from the side and adjusted the telescope’s direction.

The servants wouldn’t do that.

Pan Yinchuan leaned back and widened his view. Huai Yu appeared in his line of sight like this.

“Today there’s a lunar occultation of Venus, did you see it?” The servant brought a new chair, and Huai Yu sat close to Pan Yinchuan as he spoke.

“No, I must have missed it.”

Huai Yu nodded, waved to have the servant set up the dining table on the rooftop.

The two sat together for dinner, and afterwards, Pan Yinchuan very consciously went to take a shower.

“Squeak.”

He pushed the door open, but instead of immediately approaching Huai Yu, he stopped and asked, “Can your phone be on silent today?”

He really didn’t want Huai Yu to answer phone calls while doing that with him.

A hint of amusement flickered in Huai Yu’s eyes. He looked at Pan Yinchuan and said, “No, the recent calls are all very important. Missing them might delay an opportunity.”

Pan Yinchuan: ?

Worried about missing opportunities, why don’t you go to the front lines? Why come to me?

Pan Yinchuan was really afraid of accidentally leaving a “historic legacy” for himself.

Huai Yu opened his arms towards him and said, “Come here.”

Pan Yinchuan walked over somewhat displeased.

Huai Yu took note of his displeasure, but instead of feeling upset, he inexplicably felt a bit happy. Some of the weariness in his bones seemed to be smoothed away.

Alpha stood up, grasped his wrist, and led him to the edge of the bed, then pushed him down.

The movements flowed smoothly, and Pan Yinchuan was already accustomed to them.

Huai Yu pressed down on him, biting firmly into the side of his neck, with considerable force.

Pan Yinchuan winced in pain.

Then Huai Yu released his neck and covered his lips instead. After lightly kissing him twice, he propped himself up and said, “Let’s sleep.”

This time when Huai Yu said sleep, he meant real sleep.

He wore a loose bathrobe and lay down.

“Come here and let me hold you,” Huai Yu said softly.

Well, this also counts as accompanying sleep.

Pan Yinchuan followed and lay down, but couldn’t sleep…

Huai Yu lifted his hand and pressed down his eyelids, asking, “Not sleepy?”

Since he asked like that, Pan Yinchuan responded candidly, “Hmm.” So, can he let him go now?

“Have someone bring the book you were reading here, and you can read it here,” Huai Yu said with his eyes closed, a hint of pale blue under his eyes, “I’ll sleep.”

That would be perfect.

Pan Yinchuan got up quickly, showing no attachment to Huai Yu’s embrace.

Huai Yu pinched his empty fingertips lazily and said, “When my phone rings later, you’ll answer it.”

Pan Yinchuan froze.

This… is it okay? Aren’t those all confidential matters?

Huai Yu continued, “When a call comes in, first ask who it is and what it’s about. If it’s someone important with urgent matters, then wake me up.”

“Am I taking over as a receptionist?” Pan Yinchuan pursed his lips and asked, “What if I misjudge and miss an important call?”

“Then they’ll call again.”

“…Fair enough.”

Huai Yu lifted his eyelids slightly. His eyes were beautifully shaped, and even in this lazy state, it did not diminish his Alpha aura; instead, he resembled a satisfied lion.

He slowly raised his hand, caressing Pan Yinchuan’s chin, then moved to his nape, and finally his head, saying, “It’s no big deal. I won’t blame you.”

“Oh.”

Huai Yu withdrew his hand somewhat regretfully.

Pan Yinchuan didn’t even blush.

If he wanted to see him blush, he’d have to do something to provoke it himself.

Huai Yu left after waking up. Zhang Assistant came to pick him up at the airport, taking Huai Yu’s coat and couldn’t help but mutter, “Really looks like he’s in love.”

Over the next few months, Huai Yu came a few more times. However, the intervals between each visit grew longer, indicating he was getting busier.

And each time he came, he slept without touching Pan Yinchuan.

Now Pan Yinchuan was truly puzzled.

Before, he deduced that Huai Yu only wanted to sleep with him in the short term due to safety considerations, so he would fly over no matter how busy he was.

But now, was that still considered sleeping?

Where else couldn’t he sleep?

It couldn’t be that he was here just to answer the phone calls, could it?

Many people could do that job!

Huai Yu’s stubborn insistence on flying over to see him—was it like clandestine meetings of lovers?

No, that analogy wasn’t quite right.

Moreover, he was already Huai Yu’s lover now.

Pan Yinchuan looked up and thought—

It’s more like a long-distance relationship that absolutely needs to meet up.

Pan Yinchuan was stunned.
