Shen Bianye: “So, you’re saying that my pre-amnesia self and Xie Yuanxing were together for a whole semester before we got together?”
Xie Yuanxing had to go to class. No matter how much he begged and pleaded, his cold star wouldn’t allow him to skip class even once.
Shen Bianye was sent away. With nothing to do, he decided to find Zhou Chao and, while he was at it, ask what he knew about him and Xie Yuanxing.
Zhou Chao was originally playing badminton. When he arrived, he dragged him out and made him tell him his love story.
After listening for a bit, he noticed a problem.
Hearing this, Zhou Chao teased, “Only? You mean you’re already about to accept that Xie Yuanxing is your partner?”
“I thought you’d at least be able to hold out a little longer this time.”
Zhou Chao leaned back lazily in the rest area of the badminton court, his posture fully that of a spectator enjoying the show.
Shen Bianye looked at him calmly. “Did my words just now have that meaning?”
Zhou Chao shrugged. “I’m quite good at reading comprehension.”
Shen Bianye had amnesia, and for him, the illness was already cured. He didn’t remember his past black history, so admitting he liked Xie Yuanxing wasn’t shameful.
It was just a little fast, but it really couldn’t be helped.
He sighed, his tone sounding like a brag no matter how you heard it: “You don’t know how forward Xie Yuanxing is.”
“He keeps chasing me, asking me to kiss him, to hold him, to sleep with him. He’s so clingy and cute, I can’t help it.”
Zhou Chao thought about Xie Yuanxing’s perpetually cold and indifferent personality, then looked at Shen Bianye.
His expression was complicated: “I always thought I was reading a joke.”
“It’s like you’re hallucinating without even taking anything.”
Shen Bianye snorted, “You don’t know what Xie Yuanxing’s personality is like in private.”
He very casually, yet deliberately, asked: “By the way, do you have such a cute wife?”
Zhou Chao was speechless.
Good question. At his house, he and his partner still often got into fights over who was on top.
Shen Bianye’s sentence hit home, “You’re just jealous.”
Zhou Chao was speechless.
He stood up, “I’m going to play.”
The more he thought about it, the more he couldn’t swallow his pride. He said sullenly, “Has it even been a full day from when you lost your memory to when you accepted it?”
“I wonder who said they could never marry a Beta.”
“One day, tsk, amnesia is great. You eat your words even faster than when you didn’t have amnesia.”
Shen Bianye’s face darkened. He stood up, badminton racket in hand, and tilted his head. “Let’s play.”
He had hiked, skied, and was a regular at the gym. He was also a top-tier Alpha. In less than twenty minutes, Zhou Chao was on his knees.
When Shen Bianye walked out of the badminton stadium, he glanced at the time. The mechanical watch on his wrist showed that it was still an hour until six.
He sent a message to Xie Yuanxing: “Baby, are you almost done?”
“I’m coming to pick you up.”
Xie Yuanxing was probably very busy. It wasn’t until Shen Bianye was almost at A University of Science and Technology that he received a reply.
“Kitten peeking.jpg”
“You can come. I should be done around six-thirty.”
Below the sticker and the sentence, he also included the address of his lab.
After replying, Xie Yuanxing put his phone away and started packing up. The atmosphere in the lab always became particularly relaxed at the end of the day.
A new junior asked him, “Senior Xie, want to go for dinner together later?”
Xie Yuanxing shook his head calmly. “No, thanks.”
“I’m eating at home.”
The junior scratched his head. “Why not eat out? We’re so tired today, you still have to cook at home?”
A cheerful senior sister next to him said with a grin, “Your Senior Xie doesn’t have to cook when he’s busy.”
“You don’t know yet, do you? Senior Xie has a super handsome guy at home. He graduated two years ago and doesn’t work. Your Senior Xie has been supporting him with his graduate school stipend and part-time job salary.”
Just as she was about to say more, she looked up and saw the person at the door. “Ah, he’s here.”
Shen Bianye stood at the doorway. His gaze first went to Xie Yuanxing. He stuffed the candied hawthorns he had just bought on the way into Xie Yuanxing’s hand, then shot an imperceptibly cold glance at the junior.
“Baby, have some candied haws. I carefully selected them on the way here. If they’re good, baby can give me a kiss.”
Before Xie Yuanxing could speak, the junior stepped forward, stood in front of Xie Yuanxing, and said, “Aren’t you ashamed of using Senior Xie’s hard-earned money to buy him things?”
Xie Yuanxing looked at the figure blocking him, frowned, and walked straight to Shen Bianye’s side. “What does it have to do with you?”
“That’s money I earned. What kind of strange possessiveness do you have over other people’s money?”
Shen Bianye watched Xie Yuanxing defend him, a smile gracing his lips. He was unusually magnanimous: “Why get angry with him?”
He took Xie Yuanxing and left, not giving the junior another glance, his smile deepening.
If it were his pre-amnesia self…
He would have stopped and made that junior who came out of nowhere put away his improper delusions.
And then… he would have disciplined his naughty baby.
Maybe he could try tying Xie Yuanxing up, restraining his body so his eyes could only look at him.
Shen Bianye clicked his tongue, a part of him feeling it was a pity that Xie Yuanxing hadn’t looked back at the junior.
Xie Yuanxing heard his sigh. He paused in mid-bite of his candied hawthorn and mumbled, “Don’t take what was said just now to heart.”
“Before your amnesia, you once told my classmates that I was supporting you. The ones in my year were fine; they all knew you and didn’t take your words seriously.”
“This new batch doesn’t know the inside story and was misled by them.”
“I’ll go explain it tomorrow when I get the chance.”
It wasn’t like that at all, but after Shen Bianye’s “publicity,” those who knew the truth were fine, but those who didn’t all thought he was supporting Shen Bianye.
Hearing this, all the messy thoughts in Shen Bianye’s mind vanished. He chuckled, “Baby doesn’t need to explain.”
“I don’t mind being misunderstood.”
He sighed with regret. “If I weren’t worried about giving others any ideas, I would have told them how well I serve my baby.”
Xie Yuanxing was speechless.
He silently held the candied hawthorns to Shen Bianye’s mouth. “You eat it. Shut your mouth.”
Shen Bianye bit into a strawberry coated in sugar frost. A hint of sweetness touched his tongue, and as if he had an idea, he said eagerly, “Baby, let me take you in my mouth.”
“If I use baby to shut my mouth, I definitely won’t talk nonsense anymore.”
“Did my pre-amnesia self ever do that for baby? Was it good, baby?”
“I’ll do it even better, baby.”
“Should we give it a try, baby?”
Xie Yuanxing was walking on a busy street, listening to these words, his ears burning. He walked faster and faster, feeling like a thief.
The next second, he heard Shen Bianye’s voice, tinged with amusement, “In such a hurry, baby?”
“Can’t you wait?”
Xie Yuanxing’s steps came to an abrupt halt. He glared at Shen Bianye, his dark eyes sparkling with a fine light, the slightly red corners of his eyes more vibrant than peach blossoms in spring.
He gritted his teeth and lowered his voice, saying word by word, “We—are—still—on—the—street!”
Shen Bianye’s breath hitched at the sight, and he couldn’t help but laugh. “What does it matter? There’s no one around, baby.”
Xie Yuanxing’s ears were warm and hot. He wanted to curse but was at a loss for words. He stared at Shen Bianye for a long while, then asked suspiciously, “Do you really have amnesia?”
Shen Bianye: “Absolutely.”
“Do you think the me without amnesia is better, baby?”
His smile faded as he said, “Baby, it’s not even seven yet. Dinner and digestion, let’s say an hour.”
“Didn’t baby say my illness was cured by deep contact with baby? Baby can try and see if this method can restore my memory.”
“We can go from eight at night until dawn.”
He curled his lips into a faint smile, but the smile didn’t reach his eyes. “We have eleven hours, baby.”
“Baby can look forward to seeing if you can bring back the me without amnesia by morning.”
Xie Yuanxing’s eyes widened in astonishment. He wanted to speak, but a finger was pressed against his lips.
Shen Bianye reached out, his thumb rubbing over Xie Yuanxing’s lips. “Or baby can try.”
“To see if I can do better than him.”
…
Before eight o’clock that night, the lights in a house not far from A University of Science and Technology went dark.
The bedside lamp was still on, its warm yellow light shattering in Xie Yuanxing’s eyes. He was shaking so violently that the spots of light danced and stretched, then, at the peak of pleasure, turned into irregular patches of color before his eyes.
The whole world was shaking.
“Don’t… don’t be angry…”
“I didn’t… haah… I didn’t… compare…”
Xie Yuanxing couldn’t even form a complete sentence. When his legs were lifted by Shen Bianye’s large hands, he cooperatively wrapped his trembling arms around Shen Bianye’s neck, looking pitiful and cute as he tried his best to explain.
It was still early. Not a single drop of sweat had appeared on Shen Bianye’s forehead. After a few ruthless thrusts, he said in a hoarse voice, “Does the current me make baby feel good, or did the old me make baby feel good?”
Xie Yuanxing was pushed into a wretched and pitiful state, sobbing with teary eyes, “No… no…”
He wanted to say he wasn’t comparing, but the tightly clenched place inside him was suddenly forced open.
Shen Bianye let out a sigh of pleasure, his voice magnetic and husky. “Does ‘no’ mean I can’t make baby feel better?”
“Sorry baby, I’ll try harder, okay?”
The sky outside the window slowly darkened. Faint sobs escaped through the cracks in the window, then scattered in the wind.
Pleasure forced out tears. Xie Yuanxing couldn’t stop crying, large teardrops falling one after another. His whole body was wet, as if he had just been pulled out of water. In the end, he was crying and saying that the current him was stronger, more pleasurable, but he still wasn’t let off.
Shen Bianye reached out, mesmerized, and caressed the smooth skin of Xie Yuanxing’s abdomen. “Baby, did the old me ever go this deep?”
Xie Yuanxing was so tired his hands were shaking, but he still gritted his teeth and managed to lift one, slapping it against Shen Bianye’s face.
It was light, without any force, purely to vent his frustration. “Shut up.”
Shen Bianye turned his head to kiss Xie Yuanxing’s hand and chuckled. “It’s still a long time until dawn. Let me give baby a bath, let you rest for a bit, and then we can continue, okay?”
His tone was light and cheerful. He carried Xie Yuanxing horizontally into the bathroom, washing him like a delicate porcelain doll, his eyes filled with obsession.
As he was washing him, his movements suddenly paused.
His expression towards Xie Yuanxing changed. Shen Bianye hadn’t expected that the thing he said offhandedly about restoring his memory would actually work.
Between letting the poor star baby go and continuing, he only hesitated for half a minute before choosing to continue.
He finally had a chance to go at it until dawn. To make him let go of the meat he had in his mouth, Shen Bianye found it difficult to do.
Besides, how could baby be satisfied by someone with no memory and no experience?
He had to prove himself.
…
As the sky was just beginning to lighten, Shen Bianye held the person who had fallen asleep the moment he closed his eyes, his large hand gently stroking the smooth back, earning a light tremble from the sleeping figure.
He knew he had gone too far. Feeling a little guilty, he stopped his hand, only holding him gently as he also closed his eyes.
Before his consciousness slipped into sleep, he thought:
If Xie Yuanxing hadn’t been so standoffish at the beginning, I probably wouldn’t have been any slower to admit defeat than my amnesiac self.
Because of the pheromone disorder, he had subconsciously never considered the possibility that he liked Xie Yuanxing. When reminded, he had firmly believed it was impossible.
Even so, he couldn’t help but want to get closer.
The mouth can lie, but the heart cannot.
He just likes Xie Yuanxing, more than anyone in the world.
