{Does the administrator ghost king of Chaofu Mountain have some grudge against cats?}

A new post quickly popped up.

“Would rather die than keep a cat”—such deep resentment.

{Has anyone collaborated on a mission with Approaching Science? How was it? Reliable?}

This indicated that his credibility had reached a certain level, and people were starting to look to him for information.

Zhan Yan casually skimmed through the posts and stopped paying attention. The fermentation of popularity took time; he could check back later.

He also closed the Chaofu Mountain post. There was no rush to reveal too much at once—dumping too much information wouldn’t significantly boost his reputation or credibility. Spreading it out over time would yield better results.

Most importantly, he had already earned a ton of reward points! Now he could check out the trading zone!

The trading zone consisted mostly of private trades, but there were also official ones, with many good items on display. For example, at the very top was a Thunder Amulet that automatically activated in dangerous situations. The description of its power made it clear it was a product of the Abnormal Affairs Management Bureau’s Tianshi.

Zhan Yan was deeply envious of this. It wasn’t just powerful—it was also incredibly cool! Who hadn’t fantasized in their childhood about wielding thunder in their hands?

But its listed point cost was as high as its strength. Zhan Yan calculated his own points and sighed.

Aside from the points issue, there was another significant problem: the transaction process. How could he obtain the item without exposing himself?

But that wasn’t urgent for now—his points were only a fraction of what was needed anyway.

His excitement quickly subsided.

He glanced again at his brother’s thread, which remained silent. He wanted to send a message to ask but didn’t dare. What if his brother really had a breakthrough? Better not ruin the mood by messaging.

Scrolling through the posts again, Zhan Yan noticed that the user “No CP, No Happiness,” who wrote fanfiction, was still spamming the forum with posts. She had stopped questioning why the Domain Administrator had banned her account and had instead begun reposting her fanfiction repeatedly. Each time an account was banned, she created a new one and started over.

It seemed she had backups of her manuscripts and was determined to go head-to-head with the Domain Administrator. Her titles blatantly proclaimed, {The Domineering Tianshi and His Stunning Demon King}.

On set.

Today, there was a night action scene with a backdrop of city walls and distant fireworks. Zhan Yunkai came off the set in high spirits, receiving many grateful looks from the crew.

Night scenes were hard to shoot, and action-packed night scenes were even harder. But Zhan Yunkai nailed it in one take. After shooting two more scenes, they’d be done for the night. Who wouldn’t want to sleep early rather than feed mosquitoes outside?

While waiting for the next scene, Zhan Yunkai opened the Supernatural Forum to scroll through for a bit.

He didn’t browse the forum often but occasionally checked for interesting posts. And then he saw the top post on the homepage.

He clicked in and was utterly shocked!

The account “No CP, No Happiness” had been banned again.

This time, the action was taken by the administrator Luo Wang. Luo Wang was an administrator from the Wen Yao Demons Alliance.

A few minutes later, a new account from “No CP, No Happiness” surfaced again.

“I must ship them!!!”:
@Administrator Luo Wang, why did you ban my account?!!!

2L:
OP exploded again? Weren’t they already used to being banned?

3L:
Maybe it’s because this time it wasn’t Administrator Lingyu but Luowang who did it? Didn’t OP diss the Wen Yao Alliance before, saying they don’t care about fanfiction while the Abnormal Affairs Management Bureau is overly strict?

4L:
I was still guessing when Administrator Lingyu would have time to ban the account again. Didn’t expect Luowang to act this time. So tragic.

5L “Administrator Luowang”:
OP, stop posting. If you continue, it won’t just be about banning your account.

LZ:
@Administrator Luowang, what do you mean? Are you threatening me?

7L “Administrator Luowang”:
It’s a kind reminder.

LZ:
A kind reminder? Is that what the Wen Yao Alliance calls it?

8L Chongming:
If you post again, I’ll come find you myself.

Although the forum only had three administrators, some big names had verified accounts with official tags, making it obvious if they were the real deal.

Zhan Yunkai’s reply caused a massive reaction, and the post’s popularity skyrocketed.

9L:
OMG!!! It’s the Chongming Demon King himself!!!

10L:
It’s really him! The big boss actually showed up!

12L:
So Luowang really was kindly reminding OP, LOL.

15L:
Where’s OP? I want to see OP appear. @I must ship them!!!

19L:
Isn’t this the first time the Chongming Demon King has appeared on the forum?

21L:
Not necessarily. If he used an unverified alt before, we wouldn’t know.

26L:
Stop tagging OP, you bunch of drama lovers. The big boss has already said they’ll personally come if OP posts again. How could OP dare to show up? If it were me, I wouldn’t show up either, right? @I must ship them!!!

30L:
Ahhhhh!!! @I must ship them!!! Do you have backups of your story? Send me a copy! I’ll post it on the forum for you! Demon King, come find me instead!!!

32L:
So scary. Is this what you all call Demon King stans?

37L:
Noob question: How would the Chongming Demon King personally find OP? Doesn’t the forum have protections?

38L:
Kid, you’ve entered the supernatural world. Do you still believe there’s such a thing as “impossible”?

“Immovable as a mountain” merely provides you with a relatively stable domain in this ever-changing world. It doesn’t make you impossible to find—just extremely, extremely difficult. Typically, no one would go through that much trouble to locate you, and those capable of doing so are exceedingly rare.

However, the Chongming Demon King definitely possesses such abilities. So, when a big shot says something, it’s not just idle talk. The original poster surely wouldn’t dare post again.

OP:

@Admin Luo Wang @Chongming

“I don’t get it. Why didn’t you care before, but now you suddenly do? And isn’t your Myriad Demons Alliance known for being hands-off and free?”

77L:

“OP, you’re gutsy! Still daring to ask questions!”

78L (Admin Luowang):

“You got the gender wrong.”

The Chongming Demon King didn’t appear again, leaving only this single reply from Admin Luo Wang.

In truth, the gender issue wasn’t the biggest problem. The most important factor was that the Chongming Demon King had secretly gotten married. Although his ordinary human spouse neither could nor knew how to access the Transcendent Forum, the Chongming Demon King would still pay attention to such matters. That ordinary person truly had a significant influence on the Demon King…

But for the original poster, this one reply was enough.

81L:

“What?! The Chongming Demon King is male?!”

82L:

“Did the OP mislead you? No one ever said the Chongming Demon King was female. It was all OP’s own imagination.”

83L:

“Just one short sentence, but it hit OP so hard!”

84L:

“LOL.”

OP’s imagination: “A radiant beauty.”

Reality: “A robust male Demon King.”

86L:

“Do you think OP has lost all interest in shipping CPs now?”

87L:

“Not necessarily. BL is still an option.”

88L:

“What if Tianshi’s gender is also wrong?”

89L:

“LOL, then OP would have gotten it all wrong from start to finish.”

91L:

“But Tianshi’s gender shouldn’t be wrong, right? I once saw him fight from a distance. Lightning everywhere at the slightest provocation—what a fierce personality! I’ve always imagined him as a burly man with arms strong enough to carry a horse.”

Zhan Yan followed the thread from beginning to end, but he genuinely didn’t know the genders of the Chongming Demon King and Tianshi. The gossip system didn’t mark their genders alongside their names.

The account “No CP, No Happiness” didn’t appear again, perhaps too disheartened.

But this was a hot topic worth jumping on!

96L (Approaching Science):

“Actually, calling him a radiant beauty isn’t entirely wrong. Within the Wen Yao Alliance’s fan circles, there’s an internal beauty ranking, and the Chongming Demon King has never dropped out of the top ten.”

98L:

“Really? Really? They actually do that in Wen Yao Alliance? Hahaha.”

“Any demons here from the Wen Yao  Alliance? Spill the details!”

Zhan Yan refreshed the thread.

Of course, it was true! He had just seen it on the gossip system!

However, this was only a small-scale activity within their circles. Demons were naturally free-spirited, so only a limited number of them knew about it.

99L:

“If it’s from ‘Approaching Science,’ then the info should be reliable.”

102L:

“What’s so impressive about being in the top ten? I thought he’d be number one! At least top three, right?”

103L:

“Have you considered who else is in the Wen Yao Alliance? Nine-Tailed Fox, Phoenix, Nine-Colored Deer, Snow Lotus, Peach Blossom Fairy… Just naming a few gives you an idea. To consistently rank in the top ten among such stunning beauties is already an extraordinary achievement!”

105L:

“Who else is in the top ten? @Approaching Science.”

“Are there pictures?”

Unfortunately, there weren’t any. Zhan Yan also wanted to see what these legendary beings looked like, but sadly, the gossip system didn’t provide images.

However, it could provide the names of the others!

He quickly created a new post, copying the rankings from the previous competitions. Although he only listed the top ten, the total number of demons in contention was nearly twenty, as the lower rankings frequently changed. It was clear the competition was fierce.

Unsurprisingly, the love of beauty transcended species. The thread’s replies poured in at an unprecedented speed, and it quickly turned into a high-traffic discussion.

Soon, members of the Wen Yao Alliance’s fan groups appeared in the thread:

48L:

“The list provided by OP is accurate. But how did you get it? Are you one of us?”

49L:

“Is ‘Approaching Science’s’ identity about to be uncovered?”

51L:

“Don’t derail the thread. Just because someone has the list doesn’t mean they’re part of the fan group, right?”

54L:

“True. Our Demon Beauty Society doesn’t keep these things confidential. Quite a few people have access to the list. But we only do this for fun in private, so it’s not widely shared. Sometimes we even struggle to promote it, haha. So I was surprised to see ‘Into Science’ post the rankings.”

55L:

“Do you have pictures?!! Please share! Let me join the group! I want to see these beauties!”

56L:

“Me too! Me too!”

57L:

“Count me in!”

The poster quickly uploaded a few pictures, but they were all either taken from a distance or extremely blurry.

Some dissatisfied users pressed for better images, but the poster bluntly stated that the forum was a mixed bag of people, and they wouldn’t risk sharing high-definition photos.

Nevertheless, the reputation of the Demon Beauty Society skyrocketed. Many expressed a desire to join. After verifying that they were indeed members of the Wen Yao Alliance, the society approved their requests.

Zhan Yan felt deeply regretful.

Damn it! He wasn’t part of the Myriad Demons Alliance, but he wanted to see the pictures too!

Disappointed, Zhan Yan closed the forum and decided to check if his brother’s gossip feed had any updates.

The former Ghost King had gone to the site of the lockdown for a quick look around, but as soon as he approached the area, he sensed something was off.

He’d gotten the information from a minor ghost and had arrived relatively late. Knowing the Abnormal Affairs Management Bureau’s usual efficiency, he’d already prepared himself to find no useful clues. But upon arrival, he noticed that the scene still bore numerous traces, almost as if it hadn’t been cleaned up at all.

Zhan Jinli grew cautious and soon discovered several hidden individuals stationed around the area. It was obvious—they’d intentionally left the traces as bait.

The Abnormal Affairs Management Bureau was seriously devious!

Zhan Jinli decisively turned around and left.

Let them fish all they wanted; he was heading back to the hotel to sleep!

A love hotel.

Zhan Jinli entered his room using the key card.

The moment he opened the door, he was greeted by the sight of an oversized sunken bath. Its curved edges were smooth and resembled a hot spring pool, large enough to fit four or five adults. There was even a changing room beside it.

Zhan Jinli was quite fond of large baths, but… why was there a leather handcuff embedded in the wall next to the bath?
