FIMA Ch179: Conclusion [Part Three]

They sat at a table in the far corner of the restaurant. Since it was past lunchtime, there weren’t many people inside.

However, the moment Xie Qingxiao spoke those words, the air seemed to quiet down.

Gu Siyuan sat quietly in his chair, his gaze fixed on Xie Qingxiao, unwavering like a serene deep pool.

Xie Qingxiao, who had just been swept up in his emotions, gradually sobered under Gu Siyuan’s calm stare.

Remembering his boastful words just now, he felt an urge to jump out of the window to escape.

However, to maintain his dignity, he couldn’t afford to back down now. He widened his eyes and stared straight back at Gu Siyuan defiantly.

“Hmph, what are you looking at? Didn’t you hear what I said clearly? So what if I had such thoughts?” Xie Qingxiao challenged.

Gu Siyuan withdrew his gaze, his eyes slightly narrowed. “I heard you clearly. It’s nothing.”

Xie Qingxiao’s heart tightened.

He was somewhat afraid that Gu Siyuan would continue saying something, yet also afraid that he wouldn’t say anything at all.

In the next moment, after a few seconds of silence, Gu Siyuan suddenly chuckled lightly.

The smile was faint, devoid of any discernible emotion.

But Xie Qingxiao suddenly felt as if he was being underestimated.

He licked his lips, trying to steady himself. “What… what are you laughing at? Is it amusing to you, or do you have an issue with what I said?”

Gu Siyuan calmly shook his head. “I have no issues at all.”

However, when Xie Qingxiao glanced up, he saw a hint of amusement deep in Gu Siyuan’s eyes. In that moment, he found it impossible to believe his words.

Just as he was preparing to say something more to bolster his own confidence…

At that moment, Gu Siyuan spoke again, “So you wanted to meet in bed in every world. Seems like you have quite bold ideas.”

Bold…

Did that term even apply here?

Xie Qingxiao nearly dug his toes into the ground. He was so embarrassed that he couldn’t even muster the energy to consider whether Gu Siyuan found his thoughts perverse.

Gu Siyuan lifted his head, staring at him. “But… since you thought about it, why didn’t you just go ahead and design it that way? Did you find it too hard to resist?”

Resist… too hard…

Did he seem that desperate?

Xie Qingxiao’s eyes were genuinely reddened this time.

This guy always maintained a cold, reserved demeanor, yet how… how could he discuss this so openly with him?

Staring at Gu Siyuan, who remained composed from start to finish but with a hint of amusement in his eyes, Xie Qingxiao couldn’t help feeling like he was being teased.

Infuriated and embarrassed, Xie Qingxiao puffed up his cheeks slightly and retorted, “Who said I was resisting? I’m actually very innocent. I’m not interested in that sort of thing at all. It’s just because I like you too much, so I thought of this way to get closer to you.”

Gu Siyuan curved his lips slightly, not speaking aloud. He could tolerate this little guy’s stubbornness.

However, Xie Qingxiao felt even more embarrassed.

He pouted, feeling indignant. “Really, I’m not interested in that kind of thing at all. It’s all because of you, you know? It’s all your fault. I’m just too pure. I don’t have any ulterior motives, so I could only think of these primitive ways to get closer to you. And, it’s because you never treated me well in the real world, always keeping your distance from me, that these thoughts arose. If you had tried earlier and let me know the truth, maybe I would have lost interest in you early on.”

By this point, Gu Siyuan’s expression finally changed slightly.

His eyes narrowed slightly, and as he lifted his head, his gaze swept over Xie Qingxiao with an intensity that was somewhat intimidating.

“…”

Xie Qingxiao’s small frame trembled slightly.

Suddenly, a sense of unease filled his heart.

However, true to form, Gu Siyuan quickly returned to his usual self and casually replied, “Oh, is that so?”

Xie Qingxiao nodded firmly, “Yes, exactly. How could I be someone frustrated with unfulfilled desires? I’m just…”

“Drop it.”

Just then, Gu Siyuan abruptly spoke loudly towards the direction behind Xie Qingxiao.

“…” Xie Qingxiao.

Xie Qingxiao whipped his head around, only to meet a pair of eyes filled with complex emotions.

The server responsible for delivering food, who knows how long he had been there and how much of the conversation he had heard between the two, wore a face not just of embarrassment and shock, but he stood nearby stiffly holding a tray.

Heh…

Xie Qingxiao turned away in despair.

Well, he definitely couldn’t come back to this restaurant again.

Meanwhile, Gu Siyuan acted as though nothing had happened, calmly addressing the server, “Sorry, please set the dishes down. Thank you for your hard work.”

“Ah… okay!”

Finally coming to his senses from his astonishment, the server carefully placed the dishes on the table and then slowly departed.

Despite being indoors, his departing figure gave the illusion of being buffeted by the wind.

Gu Siyuan then reached out to hand Xie Qingxiao the utensils. “Let’s eat.”

Xie Qingxiao looked up steadily at Gu Siyuan.

He couldn’t quite understand Gu Siyuan’s demeanor.

After hearing his almost confession-like words and witnessing his somewhat excessive actions, Gu Siyuan didn’t show any extra reaction. Instead, they had argued over some inexplicable topic for a while.

So, what did this all mean?

Had Gu Siyuan already accepted the things he had done, or was he simply trying to coolly brush off and ignore Xie Qingxiao’s confession?

Xie Qingxiao glanced at Gu Siyuan’s hand holding the chopsticks—long-fingered but not slender, with distinct bones and a large palm, clearly belonging to an adult man. And with just a little force, it could be terrifyingly strong, making it impossible for anyone to break free.

Xie Qingxiao’s dark eyes flickered as he reached for the chopsticks, deliberately brushing his back lightly with two fingers. He thought his move was swift and advantageous, feeling quite pleased with himself. Unable to resist, he sneakily glanced at Gu Siyuan, hoping to catch a hint of helplessness on his face.

However, Gu Siyuan was Gu Siyuan.

Faced with this minor disturbance, his expression hardly changed at all. He just looked at Xie Qingxiao and lightly snorted, “Noted.”

“Ah…” Xie Qingxiao felt a bit embarrassed. “Noted what?”

Gu Siyuan replied in a monotone, enunciating each word clearly, “Three instances of verbal teasing today, and one case of getting handsy.”

Noting this?

Gu Siyuan’s imposing presence made Xie Qingxiao’s heart skip a beat.

However, upon a moment’s reflection, he realized there was actually nothing to fear. In fact, this might even turn from crisis into opportunity.

He proudly raised an eyebrow, “What, boss? Are you noting these down for revenge? I’m not afraid. If you’re capable, why not try the same thing on me?”

Gu Siyuan smirked, “You’re quite confident.”

Xie Qingxiao felt a bit disappointed but retorted defiantly, “Hmph, a real man dares to act boldly.”

“Dares to act boldly?” Gu Siyuan glanced at him lightly, “I thought real men prefer to do things with real knives and guns.”

As he emphasized the last word, Xie Qingxiao felt a sudden rush of embarrassment crawl up his spine from Gu Siyuan’s tone. Yet, upon closer inspection, Gu Siyuan’s expression remained utterly calm.

Gu Siyuan used his chopsticks to pick up a steamed shrimp, peeled it skillfully with his long fingers, and placed it on the plate in front of Xie Qingxiao. “Try it.”

Xie Qingxiao was pleasantly surprised.

If this were before, not to mention being proactive in peeling shrimp for him, even if he had peeled shrimp for Gu Siyuan, he might have been refused and considered a waste of time.

He delicately picked up the shrimp and popped it into his mouth like a treasure, cheeks bulging slightly like a squirrel’s, finding the shrimp unusually sweet compared to usual.

Gu Siyuan sat silently across from him, watching him eat.

After reluctantly swallowing it down, Xie Qingxiao smiled contentedly, “Thank you, boss.”

“You’re welcome,” Gu Siyuan nodded.

Xie Qingxiao continued to smile, waiting for Gu Siyuan to peel another one for him.

Gu Siyuan’s peeled shrimp was truly the most delicious in the world.

However, contrary to his expectations, Gu Siyuan didn’t seem to catch on to his hints and continued to quietly observe him.

Furrowing his beautiful brows, Xie Qingxiao asked, “Boss, the shrimp…”

“Hmm, the shrimp,” Gu Siyuan glanced down at his own empty plate, “So, what about mine?”

“Huh?” Xie Qingxiao didn’t catch on immediately.

Gu Siyuan’s tone was matter-of-fact, “Reciprocity. You haven’t peeled one for me yet.”

Xie Qingxiao: “…”

After a moment of silence, Xie Qingxiao reluctantly started peeling shrimp for Gu Siyuan.

Well, he truly was the boss.

Nothing ever unfolded according to one’s imagination.

The lunch for the two of them took several times longer than usual.

After leaving the restaurant and just as they got into the car, Xie Qingxiao turned to Gu Siyuan, “Boss, are we heading back to the research institute now?”

Gu Siyuan looked at him, his tone slightly teasing, “Are you young people nowadays so diligent in your work? Is a date just limited to eating?”

Huh, wait, no…

A date?

Gu Siyuan mentioned a date?

Xie Qingxiao’s eyes widened suddenly. Their recent meal was a date.

He… was on a date with Gu Siyuan?

Xie Qingxiao’s beautiful eyes locked onto Gu Siyuan’s, and he urgently asked, “Boss, did you just say ‘date’? Are we on a date?”

As the words left his mouth, his heart immediately started pounding.

“Then what else would it be?” Gu Siyuan replied casually.

He leaned back in his seat, loosened the cuff of his shirt, rolled it up to his forearm, revealing his elegantly toned muscles.

Xie Qingxiao stared, his mouth watering slightly as he realized something, unable to help asking, “Boss… when you said ‘date,’ you meant the worldly, cheesy kind of dating, right?”

Gu Siyuan raised an eyebrow. “Worldly? Cheesy? Hmm, those adjectives are fitting. But isn’t this just basic etiquette after two people start dating?”

Dating?

Seeing each other?

He was currently dating Gu Siyuan and had just been on a date…

A smile spread across Xie Qingxiao’s face, his mind filled with jubilant little figures, thoughts darting off in various directions.

Gu Siyuan glanced at him and murmured, “Or perhaps you prefer something more direct?”

Xie Qingxiao blinked. “Direct?”

Gu Siyuan nodded knowingly. “Yes, after all, you’re someone who probably prefers getting straight to the point from the start, particularly when it comes to intimate physical contact.”

Xie Qingxiao: “…”

Actually, having dinner together on a date was quite enjoyable.

Actually, he hadn’t really thought about it that way just now.

But now, he couldn’t help but think about it a little.

It was normal, after all, considering how he had desired it!

“What’s wrong? Any issues? Real men like us are straightforward in everything we do, no beating around the bush.” Xie Qingxiao lightly coughed a few times, turned his face away toward the car window, intentionally using a gruffer voice to cover up the various thoughts rushing through his mind.

Hearing this, Gu Siyuan couldn’t help but laugh out loud. “Haha…”

Hmph…

Xie Qingxiao’s heart was already pounding, and now his ears turned even redder as Gu Siyuan teased him.

But in the next instant, he felt a warm sensation on his cheek and chin, a deep, magnetic voice with a hint of warmth directly brushing against his face.

“Since you don’t want to beat around the bush, why turn your head?”

Gu Siyuan reached out, gripping Xie Qingxiao’s chin, forcing him to turn towards him.

He leaned in, lowering his head slowly, their breaths gradually mingling.

In the narrow confines of the car, Xie Qingxiao caught the crisp scent emanating from Gu Siyuan, feeling a subtle and indescribable tingling sensation from his nose to his ears to his core.

Then, his lips were covered by a layer of warmth, causing his body to tremble slightly.

Having kissed and embraced countless times in those other worlds, the familiar sensation buried deep in Gu Siyuan’s mind came flooding back with just a brief touch.

He was no longer satisfied with shallow kisses.

His tongue brushed softly against Xie Qingxiao’s pliant lips, meeting a row of neat, white teeth. The hand on the slender neck moved slowly to the back of his head, asserting dominance without question: “Open your mouth.”

“Mm…” Xie Qingxiao whimpered softly, immediately parting his lips, revealing a small, red, delicate tongue.

Breaths intertwined, lips and teeth entangled.

In the confined and silent space of the car’s backseat, every sensory perception was amplified to the extreme.

Xie Qingxiao wrapped his arms around Gu Siyuan’s neck, tilting his chin up, engaging in a passionate kiss with him.

Gu Siyuan was generally aloof, but in matters like these, he was assertive and domineering.

Though it was just a kiss, Xie Qingxiao felt a definite sense of invasion and possession, occasionally letting out soft moans that were unmistakably clear in the car.

Time passed unnoticed until Xie Qingxiao was almost breathless, and finally, the kiss slowly came to an end.

By now, their mouths and bodies were filled with each other’s taste.

Xie Qingxiao lay panting on Gu Siyuan, gradually calming his breath.

When he raised his head, he inadvertently glanced at the rearview mirror of the car, seeing his cheeks and neck flushed pink, his eyes watery and full of spring-like allure, almost too much to bear.

“Tsk…”

He sighed, turning to look at Gu Siyuan.

Although the collar of Gu Siyuan’s white shirt had been slightly wrinkled from earlier, it was barely noticeable after a quick adjustment. Gu Siyuan’s expression remained as cold and indifferent as ever, his gaze sweeping over as clear and piercing as ever, as if nothing had happened.

Xie Qingxiao suddenly felt a bit aggrieved.

Gu Siyuan noticed his expression and reached out, pulling him to sit on his lap.

“Ah…”

Xie Qingxiao was startled by this sudden movement, but his slender arms automatically wrapped around Gu Siyuan’s neck. He proudly asked, “What are you doing?”

There’s a limit to how much you can say bad words in a day.

Gu Siyuan simply ignored this question and instead asked, “What do you want to do next?”

Resting against him lazily, Xie Qingxiao replied, “Don’t you have worldly dating etiquette rules? After lunch, we should go watch a movie or go shopping.”

Gu Siyuan ran his finger through Xie Qingxiao’s soft hair and agreed, “According to worldly rules, after lunch, we should go watch a movie or go shopping.”

Xie Qingxiao cleared his throat lightly, his voice dropping a few degrees. “So, according to a real man, we should head straight home to bed now. How do we reconcile that?”

Gu Siyuan chuckled softly. “I have a home theater, so…”

Xie Qingxiao suddenly lifted his head, accidentally bumping his forehead into Gu Siyuan’s chin, pleasantly surprised. “So, after reconciling, we should now go to your home theater to… do that.”
